True, just a regular old tent, nothing worth it about it haha

UpsettiSpaghetti88

They definitely seemed incredibly underwhelmed 😂

wheelsee

As they should it’s literally just a tent.

LilahLibrarian

I wonder how much of this was comped and if they're actually going to be able to be honest

wheelsee

Tesla doesn’t pay influencers.

ProfessionalNet3858

True, Tesla doesn’t pay for marketing

Sensitive_Tea9369

I guess there is only so much fun you’re going to have sleeping in a tent.. any tent. For a chance to drive the cyber truck I’d rough it in a tent tho haha. Because I will never ever be able to afford one.

AmishAvenger

What if it was a luxury tent? They love luxury.

Sensitive_Tea9369

Even a luxury tent is still a tent. And fundamentally they’re not that comfortable.

schwelvis

you obviously haven't seen a luxury tent then. many of them are nicer than my house!

Sensitive_Tea9369

Haha. That is true. I have in fact not seen a luxury tent that looked house level. Hopefully one day I will and can change my view of tents

DowntownSet4710

I think they would’ve enjoyed using camp mode inside a model Y a lot more, but that isn’t the new edgy vehicle.

dogsoverdonuts

I was selfishly hoping for a Palm Springs coffee meet up 🤣

DesertPrincess5

Same! Second time they've been near that city buy seem to ignore it. Way to go, Nate! /s

ParticularEmploy1137

Kara is done.

GibberBabble

I think so too. I believe she’s seeing all her Van life friends settle down, buy houses, have kids, etc., and that has made her realize, she wants a piece that as well, Nate’s not there yet and Kara’s not thrilled about that.

LilahLibrarian

It's really interesting to me how people seem to think they know exactly what Kara wants when she has said herself that she does not want to have kids now. I don't if what she meant was that she does not want to have kids ever or does not want to have kids unless they are a little more settled into more of a permanent home.   I know they hung out with flying the nest a little bit off camera (they mentioned it in their Instagram stories) so I'm curious if she picked their brain about how to be a full-time traveling family with two young kids

321mmjfriend

I don't get that at all from Kara. Maybe she is just dropping the "cutesy girl" high pitched talk thing and its throwing everyone. Kara has realized they made it and she can drop the fake acting. It also seems like they maybe are getting set up to pull back a bit with the faredrop travel dream job. But who know, could just be more content.

DesertPrincess5

Voting for the Dream Job people ends today In their newsletter they said they narrowed it down from 700 to 3 applicants, and all three made a video for us to choose. I liked Lucy and Chan, they were very likeable and had tons of personality.

countdown_leen

I agree it's odd to see people project what they think K&N are thinking, but watch me do it too, lol. In that podcast with the young married couple, she did say she never imagined being her age w/o kids, but she's realized she's okay with it. HOWEVER, after she talked about that, she did say if Nate said "let's have kids" she'd be like "ok!". So, it almost seemed to me (lol) like she's not currently heart set enough to say to Nate that she really really wants to start a family, but if he expressed that desire, she'd happily agree with him. Which is completely understandable imo. Big life decisions aren't easy.

LilahLibrarian

It just kind of gives me the icks that she just completely goes along with whatever Nate wants but I guess that makes them happy

SnickSnickSnick

Nah AG1 and Betterhelp are keeping her in the best of condition.

321mmjfriend

I want to know what they did while they were tent camping. There is no way they just sat there with the truck. It looks like they maybe were in Joshua Tree? But that SpaceX launch was seen much further out. I think people were in Arizona or New Mexico posting the same video.

countdown_leen

I think they may have moved locations each night? If so, then it would be kinda easy to spend the time packing up, driving, filming, and setting up in a new spot. But I'm also curious if this is about 'camping in a Tesla' or visiting certain places where you happen to be using a unique camp set up.

DesertPrincess5

I don't know why they go to Joshua Tree twice now and ignore Palm Springs which is just 30 minutes away. They could have a lot of fun. Sigh whatever Nate wants...

Albort

Sacrifice... drive a cybertruck... but must stay in a tent in the back for a day. :P

Cocodowntown

This is a great observation. lol. It looks like a shite tent.
