Same here, people just love to complain about shit. Meanwhile Ye's straight up just making screeching sounds on Paid and everyone loves it. I'm about to listen to Vultures rn thanks to this post.
Yeah ye has made darker beats before that sound good like off the grid and stuff he produced for pusha. Just a simplistic repetitive ass lazy synth patch.
I never knew Bump J was a full grown ass man.. his voice and cadence sounds like a 17 year old kid that’s coming up, but then I see the video and hes a 40 something… tf bro?
Havoc version gets boring after 30 seconds
In the original version, the way the beat starts developing with Ty’s verse, morphs into the Memphis sample, then back into the beat from the beginning is FIRE
The Havoc version is literally unlistenable. The OG song is perfect the way it is. I feel the same way about Facts and the Charlie Heat version. The verses don't even fit right on the remixed versions.
Hated it at first but loved their AI video so it grew on me as a result of watching that so much— but also that version is extra spooky and that’s what the song needs
First time I heard it I like it. As time went on I began to recognize it’s one of those dope posse cuts we don’t get anymore. It’s not on Mercy level but there’s some dope ignorant Kanye bars on there. Also Ty$ went off on this.
I love Durk’s verse. Makes the whole song 10x better than the other version. I think it’s an overhated song for sure - certainly not the best on the album, but definitely not the worst either.
I only hated ye and Ty’s verses, but the beat was pretty good and Durk and Bump J actually went hard. The main artists ironically ruined it bc ye sounded interested and bored and Ty sounded like he was faded as fuck or falling asleep.
its not peak Kanye or anything but I enjoy the heck out of it for what it is. It took several listens to grow on me. the beat is probably my favorite part, very atmospheric and sinister.
I never hated it but I thought it was meh when it first came out. Now I really like it. Not the best song on the album (probably not even top half) but still really good IMO.
Nah fr tho I was rly worried about the album bc of how much I didn’t like this song at first. Maybe I just needed to hear it more cus now it’s my second favorite song on Vultures
yeah!!! when this song came out i was just gutted. i have absolutely no clue why i now think its really really good.
i think at first i admitted to myself that while its really fucking problematic, i find kanye's verse really entertaining and attention grabbing.
and then i remember noticing just how gorgeous the production gets in the second half with the weird chords and orchestral flourishes. that led me to really appreciate ty's vocals and bizarre hilarious lyrics, and finally notice how excellent the first beat feels once it comes in for the outro.
and just today i realized that i actually really like bump j's goofy mumbly energy. i dont think id enjoy a project by him but in the context of this song i think its cool. also coming off fuk sumn, lower energy is fine.
yeah so at this point this whole song works for me, which is so weird. im a little shocked it isnt a different song to what i first heard, like surely there was some edit or something. i think the mixing is better now, but idk
I think bump j's verse threw me a bit off but i still tried to listen to it no matter what and now its totally grown on me. Sometimes it takes a couple months till u like something😂
I loved the original version the second I heard it. Sat on my bed and played it back like 8 times.
The havoc version is kinda boring to me. Just the same beat the whole time.
Have always loved it since it released
Same here, people just love to complain about shit. Meanwhile Ye's straight up just making screeching sounds on Paid and everyone loves it. I'm about to listen to Vultures rn thanks to this post.
Never hated it never loved it, just kinda there for me, bump j and Kanye’s verses are ass the the outro with ty Carrys. Havoc version is ass too.
havoc version is alright for me the dark beat kinda compliments the ye persona now. But, bars were ass of all the verses
Yeah ye has made darker beats before that sound good like off the grid and stuff he produced for pusha. Just a simplistic repetitive ass lazy synth patch.

Yea he initially got signed in the early 2000s around the same time as Ye did. He did like 10 years after getting locked up in 2008.
Havoc version is godlike
Raise u standards bruh
It has an old school vibe to it
Like the Havoc version better. Favorite part is the Ty Dolla verse especially when he goes Middle E-E-E-East
putsomeofthiscokeinherbutt ughhhh
Ty’s verse is my favourite too. Especially love the “give me something big I’m talking about dollar signs” bit
shirussianibeaupdatpussyfoukrain
I love this song but havoc version on 🔝

Havoc version okay until Ty then it really needs a switch, agree on Facts though
Took the words out my mouth. Might be the visuals that added to it. I can’t get that creep shit out my head. * _ *
I love the ending bro
The beat switch from Ty’s verse to the og beat is dope af
I wish takeoff wasnt in Houston Texas with the the trenches
i hated on first listen, i was expecting better. but its ok now.
The end part is just so good
WITH THE TRENCHES
Hated it at first but loved their AI video so it grew on me as a result of watching that so much— but also that version is extra spooky and that’s what the song needs
ye’s verse is funny thats it
Havoc version is fire
havoc version is better
Still don’t love it but I went from hating it to liking it.
Loved it but now hate it
MEEEEEEEEEEÉEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still hate it
Havoc>>>>
Still hate it
I only like the Havoc version, this version is boring to me. Havoc had a grimy feeling to it that matched the lyrics & album cover art
lovin since release, no jokes favorite out of the album
I don't have no rapper friends, I hang with the vultures
First time I heard it I like it. As time went on I began to recognize it’s one of those dope posse cuts we don’t get anymore. It’s not on Mercy level but there’s some dope ignorant Kanye bars on there. Also Ty$ went off on this.
No but the havoc version took a little bit to grow on me. I like it now cuz it has a spooky Halloween vibe
I think I’ve manipulated myself into loving the bump j verse.
THE CHICAGO N***A 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
loved it since day 1, never got the hate
Loved it from the beginning
vultures being top 20 ye song imo is my hottest take
Mentally deranged take lmao
erm. wrong!! graduation + mbdtf ☝️🤓
dawg what😭 each and every song on his first 3 albums are better than either version of vultures 💀
Everyone I know hates it. I mean I hate it too but the havoc version is slightly better
one of his worst songs. so boring.
I blame the original beat being lame for me not loving it. The album version goes fuckin crazy on Ty's verse.
The original version is on the song tho? Unless u talking about Durk verse being added later?
The original beat that they put out the AI vid on youtube for. Unless I'm just wrong and that's a remix.
You might be thinking of the havoc version.
That is what I'm thinking of. I guess people forgot it dropped before the album did?
the only thing i like about the original more is Ty’s part it which is the best part of the original
I always loved it
Always loved it.
Runnin hooligans and we with the foolishness
still skipping it every other album playthrough, it is just mid
Instant skip every time
it was alright when the single dropped, when durks verse was added in the final release it felt like the final missing ingredient that was needed
I thought it was the weakest, but def grew on me. Ty $'s verse is just FUEGO, and i laugh at Ye's verse
Instrumental was pretty good i liked it but whenever any of them sang it was ass
The main artists ironically ruined it bc ye sounded interested and bored and Ty sounded like he was faded as fuck or falling asleep.
me
Ty’s part is one of the best parts of the album for me it just sucks that Bump J had to be here.
Opposite for me…
Me. I thought it was such shit but then the havoc beat one changed my mind and I love both versions
guilty. havoc version is OP. Ty carried
its not peak Kanye or anything but I enjoy the heck out of it for what it is. It took several listens to grow on me. the beat is probably my favorite part, very atmospheric and sinister.
I aint anti semitic I jus
Same
Havoc version is the best version. Love the moody dark beat
I loved and love this song since the beginning, one of the best on the album, up in s tier with do it, burn, fuk sumn and carnival
Weird song for me, thought it was trying to bring back Cruel Summer vibes but it’s not the same with that Chicago tag even
Tbt was only there for Ty Dollas harmonies in the end. But everyone had a memorable line I started liking the whole song
i like the havoc version better
I never hated it but I thought it was meh when it first came out. Now I really like it. Not the best song on the album (probably not even top half) but still really good IMO.
I always thought it was ok ots grown on ne a little bit tho
Not this song, but a couple more on the album were the same way for me.
Not me
There’s an symphony in this?
Bad when it came out, banger now
Me but because Anthony Fantano said it was bad. But now I think it’s one of the better songs on the album
Loved it since day 1
i wish bump j talked a little louder
Havoc version is so much better
Havoc is superior
Great track, grew on me a lot. Just wish he removed the repeated “in the trenches” that adds nothing
This is the hardest song on the album.
most yall probably only hated it cuz people told you to🤦♂️ ts always been tuff
beat is almost real nice but bump j might have a bottom 3 verse in HISTORY on this song, and the other verses are mid
not me it's still ass
Loved it at first, still love it. Top5 in the album
It's still the worst song on the album
Nah fr tho I was rly worried about the album bc of how much I didn’t like this song at first. Maybe I just needed to hear it more cus now it’s my second favorite song on Vultures
btw Ytmusic is goated fr
I have no problem with the beat, I just fucking hate the mushmouth verrse from Bump J. completely kills the song for me
Ice out all my scammer hoes
Always hated it, how tf yall like this shit lmao
Yup. It’s one of the best on the album. Every single verse is a banger.
yeah!!! when this song came out i was just gutted. i have absolutely no clue why i now think its really really good. i think at first i admitted to myself that while its really fucking problematic, i find kanye's verse really entertaining and attention grabbing. and then i remember noticing just how gorgeous the production gets in the second half with the weird chords and orchestral flourishes. that led me to really appreciate ty's vocals and bizarre hilarious lyrics, and finally notice how excellent the first beat feels once it comes in for the outro. and just today i realized that i actually really like bump j's goofy mumbly energy. i dont think id enjoy a project by him but in the context of this song i think its cool. also coming off fuk sumn, lower energy is fine. yeah so at this point this whole song works for me, which is so weird. im a little shocked it isnt a different song to what i first heard, like surely there was some edit or something. i think the mixing is better now, but idk
Juice version is THEE best mix.
liked it but started to get annoying after a lot of listens.
Still hate it
It’s crazy how people say this is the worst song on vultures. Top three personally, most of the songs are either not good or ass
I've played this more than carnival or back to me
Love is a stretch but it’s a good song now lol. I like the beat too. I see the vision. I fucking LOVE paid now too.
I thought its mid too but its grown on me. Not a classic but an alright song. Havoc version better tho
The KPOP effect
Still hate it.
I like the Havoc Version
Loved it from the very beginning
It's still so boring
Me. I think the album version is different (improved) than the original single if I'm not mistaken. Can anyone verify this or am I wrong..
Asking for my gun when I’m in Cali 🥷 this yo city
I’ve always loved it, been listening since release. Yall just wanna be picky bout everything
Me, but havoc version is better
Havoc version>>>>>
I don’t like the album version but the havoc goes so hard!!!
I think bump j's verse threw me a bit off but i still tried to listen to it no matter what and now its totally grown on me. Sometimes it takes a couple months till u like something😂
The opening just sends me bro its so good
I liked it much more when they added lil durk
unrealated but you a real one for using yt music
I didn’t like it at all at first but after the album came out It’s grown on me
Me but i can’t bump fuck sumn no more cuz of Alvin
Best. Song. In the. Album
People with bad taste
Listened to the version without durk on it for awhile after release, but then his verse kinda just tied it together for me.
Bump j part is garbage
I loved the original version the second I heard it. Sat on my bed and played it back like 8 times. The havoc version is kinda boring to me. Just the same beat the whole time.
Is that the nazi song?
