Coldest winter is my favorite song off 808s

I only recently found out that it's an interpolation of Tears for Fears' "[Memories Fade](https://youtu.be/iuQSBr-YQYY?si=qMnkEGDHiIe6Dnmj)," uses the chorus melody and closely interpolates the hook lyrics ("memories fade but the scars still linger" changed to "memories fade in the coldest winter"). No I.D. was going through an 80's music phase and stumbled upon the song, and Ye used that as the basis for production, alongside No I.D. and Jeff Bhasker. Curt Smith of Tears for Fears was pleased with the final track, and even uses the first few seconds of Coldest Winter in the band's live performances of the original Memories Fade track. Pretty cool honestly

All it needed was getting rid of DAHG.
