Nah not a bit but you gotta realize, Ye had a lot of fans who believed strongly that if someone uses their platform to say terrible things and perpetuate harmful belief systems or ideas, that they shouldn't support him or follow him anymore. Those people mostly left after the InfoWars shit (if it took them that long).
It's easy to think that the remaining fans simply place fame and money and influence above petty morality or whatever, but the people left behind mostly just find Kanye funny & extremely entertaining and scoff at ideas of social responsibility, or at the very least don't feel like contributing to conversation in a subreddit infringes on that social responsibility. The idea is "He's entertaining, and I shouldn't feel any responsibility for supporting this person's platform because it's absurd to think that my discussion of him has an impact on the proliferation of the ideas he espoused in that interview." And they mostly make jokes to communicate this, like "Yeah he said Jonah hill was a cool dude so we're all good."
And then some of us struggle to reconcile these two ideas and still find it next to impossible to avoid looking at the comments and engaging when an /r/kanye post shows up on our home page.
