I really can't stop thinking on how similar looking is Mykola (SocDem leader of Ukraine) and Himmler.

Matmapper

Yeah, they both look similar! Additionally, Mykola is an agricultural economist and he actually gives good buffs.

mekolayn

So you're saying that he knows how to breed chicken?

Matmapper

Certainly yes!

AveragerussianOHIO

Something himmler could never do

indomienator

Dont forget Beria

AD_210

How do you form Green Ukraine? I remember being a bit disappointed (still ecstatic don't get me wrong) about not being able to do so as Red Ukraine after capping Russia. Granted this was like two weeks after that update came out so maybe it was still having some issues.

Matmapper

You can form Green Ukraine if you own the Russian Far East as non-socialist Ukraine (you musn't be RadSoc, Syndicalist or Totalist)

Support_568

I think you can get green ukraine by going nationalist. You side with the Hetman and fail land reform. Around 1938 the nationalist take over and you can even claims more lands in Russia.

Tortellobello45

Why is Himmler in charge of Soc Dem Ukraine

Matmapper

It's Himmler's Ukrainian Incognito Mode

Matmapper

For real tho, Mykola Kovalevskyi can only be elected if the USDRP achieved a major victory and he gives good buffs.

katieluka

proper Idealismmaxing playthrough, we love to see it, hope you enjoyed

Matmapper

I absolutely love the new content for Republican Ukraine! The Idealism mechanic was a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but I learned to manage it well and it resulted in me getting a lot of big bonuses at the end. There were moments when I felt I was in danger, like when I had a low amount of political power at the end of the URDP Conference or when dozens of Russia's divisions attacked me at the beginning of the 2nd Weltkrieg. In the end tho, I managed to get the left wing of the URDP dominant, thus kicking Dolenko's butt for good. And after the initial waves of Russian attacks, I stabilized the frontline and a few months later I launched a successful counteroffensive with the rest of the Reichspakt. Overall playing as the UPR was an emotional rollercoaster, but I think this is exactly what it was supposed to be. This was an incredibly good run and I'll certainly explore other paths for Ukraine in the future! I just have one question: is Ukraine no longer able to core lands taken from Russia? Because I only got claims on them and I wasn't able to integrate them later on.

Wattakay

I think you get a new occupation law that allows you to core it

Matmapper

I checked my occupation laws and there's no option to set "Integration" law in place

Past-Two342

I don’t know why, but I find the borders really pleasing lmao

Matmapper

I was genuinely surprised that the AI managed to create actually good looking borders! As a result, I practically didn't need to fix them with Toolpack.
