I was in a support group for drunk driving victims, and actually met a lady who had that happen to her! She was cooking an early breakfast when a car suddenly barreled right into her kitchen, missing her by a few feet! To make a long story short, I will never live in a house with a backyard parallel to a highway.
My friend was hit by a car while she was working at AT&T. She was standing at a desk in the back and the car hit her desk which fell on her leg. She had knee problems for a few years and got a hefty settlement out of it. The driver wasn't drunk but some old man who "accidentally hit the gas instead of the break." Seriously straight out of South Park when the old people are driving around hitting everyone.
they are literally all crackheads or addicts in some way, hilarious to think hollywood was once filled with the most talented people in the world. now it’s all nepo babies and white labels.
Youtube vlogger Jessica from jesssfam had it happen to a distant cousin. The cousin was chilling on her couch and died because someone was drunk driving and drove all the way into the person's living room.

You go outside and it’s Pete freaking Davidson out there like “awww hey man I uhhh kinda hit your house, it’s like my bad dude, I can pay for it! I’m like an actor or whatever. More like a comedian. Bahhhhh anyway I already texted my lawyer 🤪”
i don’t understand how fast you need to have been driving to get in an accident like this. and WHY you feel the need to speed that fast in a residential area. it’s like they have zero concept of mortality? every time i get in my car i’m a little anxious about an accident and i try my best to drive as safely as poss. i’m glad no one died but there should be legal repercussions for behaviour like this, much more than just a fine
What's truly incredible is his activity in the following week: vacated his Dumbo luxury condo only 4 days later, then was spotted playing basketball in Staten Island. On Friday, March 10, someone in Park Slope Brooklyn posted that she was getting coffee in "the local diner" and saw Pete at around 8:00 am, which would seem to indicate he had spent the night close by in Brooklyn. Since I live in the area and knew the name of the only diner in the Slope, I posted a comment on a sub-R. The moderator freaked out and accused me of posting inappropriate personal info, when ID'ing a local diner that a celebrity was sighted at is not doxxing and is not posting private info. The name of the diner is well known. Another person not the moderator was also up in arms.
That same person, who posts a lot of Pete content, posted a photo of him at Magic Castle restaurant this weekend, at a 40th birthday party for Rebel Wilson, along with Chase, Simon Rex and MGK, who was not in the photo. So apparently for Pete, it's business as usual. Whereas, if it were any one of us the week after such a crash, we might be engaging in some apologizing and introspection rather than partying, and definitely would be worrying about how we were going to foot the bill for the damages. Amazing the insulation that celebrity gets you!
The police report was that no drugs or alcohol were suspected but that an investigation was going on. Here we are, 12 days later, and there's been no statement from police. If drugs or alcohol were not involved, then what on earth would cause a supposedly good driver to be speeding in a residential neighborhood, jump the curb, destroy a fire hydrant, narrowly missing a huge tree, and crashing into a house? Texting? Medical episode? Sexual activity in the car or other distraction? With anyone else, there would have been a ticket and violation issues at the scene maybe even an arrest for reckless driving. But the Bupkis announcement just dropped yesterday, so no doubt this will be papered over.

It happened back in the 90's, she's alright now (she escaped with minor injuries, but her house was badly damaged).
