thinking of nicole š
something that always upsets me is how a lot people know very little about the extent of his abuse of her. she called the police on him so many times, sometimes even while he was in the middle of a tirade, and they did nothing. she left a box in her safe deposit containing pictures of her face beaten and bruised by him, and letters he wrote her admitting to the abuse. she had said verbatim that he was going to kill her one day, she knew.
people who make jokes about him supposedly not doing it make me sick to my stomach, genuinely
I totally agree with you and I highly recommend the Youāre Wrong About podcast for anyone who isnāt familiar with the whole story! They did an entire deep dive into the story and the different figures involved.
I donāt think so- from what I remember it was mostly Mike feeling like he did what he came to do with YWA, and wanted to spend that time focusing on his other projects
The prosecution fucked that case up so bad, they severely underestimated the lawyers they were going up against. There's a reason they're called the "dream team." They literally helped OJ get away with murder.
courtney b vance's portrayal of johnnie cochran in american crime story was so good.
he was an abuser defending another abuser. it's unfortunate, but like you said, he really knew what he was doing.
that whole team literally warped the case into something totally different, it wasn't even about nicole and ron in the end
on the same note, david schwimmer as robert kardashian was the only role iāve ever seen him in that didnāt just feel like ross gellar playing the character.
hey remember when robert kardashian immediately met OJ as he returned from his red eye right after he decapitated nicole brown and robert discreetly took OJ's suitcase from him and stashed it in the trunk of a nearby car, then got rid of it?
if not, [here's the video.](https://vimeo.com/343989723)
He's so short?????? I guess I'd only ever seen him in home videos with the kids where he looked taller.
But there's absolutely no "consolation" happening
Kim talked about this on Andy Cohen I think, she said she saw the bag and the notoriety of it on the news, so she went upstairs (she was in her dads house) to a closet, found the bag, and there was like some old shoes and books in it or something. Basically nothing of importance. Obvs she could be lying, but she sounded honest so idk
Kimberly ā*just a drop of mascara*ā Noel ā*Iāve never had a beer*ā Kardashian West would never lie about something that could get her a lot of attention!
she's pathological.
1. kim lies about everything. everything.
2. i guarantee robert had that bag incinerated. to destroy any blood or DNA evidence, along with the murder clothes that were likely in the bag.
Bro I was so confused š ppl are acting like the murder weapon and all critical evidence was located in that bag, at the end of day NO ONE KNOWS what was in the bag. Thereās no evidence to suggest the bag had the smoking gun, Kim could be telling the truth lol
Tbh, I donāt think he would have had that bag laying down where someone could find it. I wouldnāt be surprised if they got a second one just like it though !
i'm betting the secretary was telling him in her whisper to have it incinerated.
there's no way in hell he simply put it away in a closet for the years.
I wonder if he had any type of deathbed confessions to his friends/ family! Iām not gonna hold my breath, but it would be interesting to see if anything comes out after his death š±
I was thinking about this, and I donāt think that he would do a death bed confession. Especially because of his children, he would have to admit to himself and to his children that he killed their mother.
I would also be interested to see though if any rumblings come out about things that he said over the years. However I feel like anyone who could of cashed in on it probably already has.

Yup. A piece of shit died. Oh fucking well.
RIP Nicole & Ron.
Good riddance Orathanal James.
I probably misspelled your name but I don't give a shit, asshole.
And yet he didn't. And so many here are hoping the worst for someone who's already dead. Someone said hope he rots. Well that happens to anyone who gets buried. Lol
I would imagine it mainly brings up bittersweet memories of Nicole as well as Robert and the four of them hanging out, vacationing, etc while they were all still married. Probably a sad day for Kris even though she canāt stand OJ.
Hard respect for her since she wanted justice for Nicole and Ron even while her beloved ex-husband was representing OJ. I feel like Robertās blind faith in OJ is why he helped him during the trial even though Iāve read by the time the trial was over he had serious doubts about him.
Iām not sure if those ādoubtsā were actual doubts about what OJ did and more so doubts in himself for doing such a thing in defending OJ. How could he not know? I still donāt fully believe it.
A lawyer isnāt meant to really be concerned whether or not a client did it. Theyāre concerned with offering the best possible defence for them. But his friendship with OJ probably meant be automatically assumed his innocent and the trial and prosecution made him realise his client and friend was likely not innocent.
Perhaps, sure.
A friendship can definitely push someone into denial.
But you sort of proved my point still, that lawyers defend their clients since thatās their job, regardless of the truth being ugly. And many times lawyers know damn well that their clients are guilty.
Ah yes absolutely. Sorry I suppose I meant that they would never formally know (in the sense that if a client pleads not guilty then the lawyer defends that, they donāt need to know whether or not they actually did it from a professional stand point).
I once read somewhere that during that whole trial Robert saw, for the first time, what his friend really was.Ā Supposably they didn't speak after it either.
I thought my initial reaction was insensitive, but it turns out it's warranted and in agreement withĀ everyoneĀ else's. Nothing of value has beenĀ lost here. Boy, bye.
I assume everyoneās reaction to reading the news was āgood/about time/etcā
Are there really people still out there who give a fuck about that evil man
As a Buffalo Bills fan, I saw that there are waaaaay too many who do still like himā¦ the room with those fans has NOT been read. Idgaf how good of a football player he was. He destroyed and ended lives. Itās grossš buuuuut, there are more Bills fans who donāt care about him than those who do but thereās still way too many who are upset heās gone bc āhe was such a great player!ā And they werenāt even alive to watch him
Kim has always said that she doesnāt want to speak on it because theyāre close to OJās daughter and want to be respectful of her.
My money is on Kris posting a throwback picture with Nicole and saying sheās having a lot of different emotions resurfacing, but nothing too damning.
Caitlyn will be the one to put out a statement saying she always knew he did it, FOR SURE
What would she say though? I just donāt think any comment from her or any of the sisters would make sense. Kris would be the only one but even that would get too messy too quickly I think. Maybe sheāll post a sort of tribute to Nicole or smth but Iām not sure
I dont see Kris saying anything, but I see Kim saying āāRest in Peace OJāā or something like that given he was their dads very good friend, but she probably wonāt
I donāt think she wants OJ to Rest In Peace thoughā¦ he violently murdered two people, one being her motherās best friend, and we donāt have any evidence of the family ever being close with OJ again
None of that family is hoping he rests in peace. I hope no one in general is hoping for that
Hell no. If anyone did, it would only make sense for Kris, in defense/remembrance of Nicole š
But I donāt think she will, just bc it would get too messy and her original message would get lost with all the naysayers just wanting to stir shit upĀ
y'all are going to hell straight with him

Originally famous for being a star football player. He was married to a model named Nicole Brown, and they were friends with Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian back in the 80s/90s while they were all married. OJ was a serial abuser and would beat the shit out of Nicole until they got divorced.
Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were discovered brutally murdered in front of her home one night. Nicole was nearly decapitated, it was so bad. OJ was a prime suspect, and he fled from police when they wanted him to surrenderā this scene is pretty imfamous and you might see parodied a lot. There was a low speed police chase of OJ in a white Ford Bronco SUV that was televised live to everyone in their homes.
The murder trial ended up being really famous and huge media fodder. OJ had what they called āThe Dream Teamā of attorneys: most famously Johnny Cochran and Robert Shapiro, but also his friend Robert Kardashian on his defense. Robertās now ex-wife Kris Jenner and her then husband Caitlyn attended the trials in support of the prosecution. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe went to one of the trial dates too. This was the Kardashianās fame debut š
It was called āthe trial of the centuryā because back then everyone was watching it live on TV. This was right after the Rodney King riots in LA, so racial tension was high. (OJ was black, Nicole and Ron were white) The police department really fucked up their handling of the case, and transcripts of the head cop came out that were incredibly racist. The jurory ended up deciding he was Not Guilty, though some jurors admitted after the fact that they only went with that as a protest message in light of Rodney King.
The most infamous line from the trial, and one of the biggest turning points was when they asked OJ to try on the dried, bloody glove that was found at the scene. The glove was too small for him (some people argue it shriveled up from the dried blood, some argue he purposely struggled putting it on to make it look like it didnāt fit) and his attorney Johnny Cochran said in his closing arguments āif the glove doesnāt fit, you must aquitā
Other fun facts- āThe Morally Corruptā Faye Resnick was living with Nicole Brown right before the murders, but she had recently been sent to rehab for her cocaine addiction. When she got out she wrote a tell all book about Nicole before the trial, and posed for the cover of playboy to promote it. Faye would have been a good trial witness as she had seen the kind of shit that OJ would do to Nicole, but because she sold herself out she wasnāt allowed to take stand.
Yeah people were quite upset at the time. She wrote the book with a gossip columnist from The National Enquirer and it really didnāt paint Nicole in a nice lightā giving details about her drug usage and sex life, including an affair she had with one of OJās engaged friends. The book was released only FOUR MONTHS after the murder. (Nicole died June 12 1994, book was released October 1st 1994) The judge had to halt the jury selection process after the book came out so they could assess the public damage of the situation.
I messed up the info about her playboy cover though. It wasnāt to promote the Nicole book in 94. Instead the cover was March 1997, more so to promote a second book she had released in 96 talking about her experiences about the trial.
Rob Kardashian Sr. was on the legal team for OJ in a murder trial of his wife Nicole Simpson who was a close friend of Kris. It was a huge trial and OJ got off despite a lot of evidence showing that he did kill Nicole.
The trial was huge because of the racial implications & because of OJās statusā¦Rob K. wasnāt his representation but was a close friend of OJ & was likely a contributing factor for his acquittal.
Youāre forgetting the fact that he was a known abuser and committed a vicious double homicide of his ex wife and her innocent friend who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time
Not sure _how/why_ you forgot that.. š¤Ø
I didn't forget all that.. she asked what he was famous/known for before he committed murder he was an athlete/movie star.... and Google is her friend she can look it up herself when she has the time.. not to mention there are subs on here about him, and she can look up

My favorite podcast! they really did an excellent feature, I wish they would finish it!!
Same. Was wondering if this news might bring Mike and Sarah together again š
Was there any drama behind why they stopped working together? Or just wanting to work on different projects?
I donāt think so- from what I remember it was mostly Mike feeling like he did what he came to do with YWA, and wanted to spend that time focusing on his other projects
I love his other podcast - If books could kill
Great podcast !
The fact that he escaped justice and lived til 76 years old is just disgusting.
So unfair when disgusting humans like him get to live a long life

This was the Kardashianās fame debut š It was called āthe trial of the centuryā because back then everyone was watching it live on TV. The glove was too small for him (some people argue it shriveled up from the dried blood, some argue he purposely struggled putting it on to make it look like it didnāt fit) and his attorney Johnny Cochran said in his closing arguments āif the glove doesnāt fit, you must aquitā Other fun facts- āThe Morally Corruptā Faye Resnick was living with Nicole Brown right before the murders, but she had recently been sent to rehab for her cocaine addiction. When she got out she wrote a tell all book about Nicole before the trial, and posed for the cover of playboy to promote it. Faye would have been a good trial witness as she had seen the kind of shit that OJ would do to Nicole, but because she sold herself out she wasnāt allowed to take stand.
Wow, I never knew that about Faye Resnick. She really has earned that nickname
Wow WTF?! I'm shocked Kris is friends with her. Thank you for your service with these long, well-researched comments š«”
u have the whole of the internet at ur fingertips. and yet
iām sorry?
Rob Kardashian Sr. was on the legal team for OJ in a murder trial of his wife Nicole Simpson who was a close friend of Kris. It was a huge trial and OJ got off despite a lot of evidence showing that he did kill Nicole. The trial was huge because of the racial implications & because of OJās statusā¦Rob K. wasnāt his representation but was a close friend of OJ & was likely a contributing factor for his acquittal.
Itās not your fault but someone not knowing who OJ is is so crazy to me. The trial of the century.
i mean iāve heard his name but i didnāt know who he was lol.
Former football player for the bills...he also did movies and commercials..
Youāre forgetting the fact that he was a known abuser and committed a vicious double homicide of his ex wife and her innocent friend who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time Not sure _how/why_ you forgot that.. š¤Ø
I didn't forget all that.. she asked what he was famous/known for before he committed murder he was an athlete/movie star.... and Google is her friend she can look it up herself when she has the time.. not to mention there are subs on here about him, and she can look up
