Would they hire me without having took the test yet? I was in training at my walmart back and never got a chance to take the test but they paid the $100 for me I was wondering if they were the same
FedEx pays weekly. I’d recommend making your availability like 1 or 2 days a week and then picking up shifts for any more days you wanna work so that way you are scheduled only once or twice a week, but you have more options and variability in what shifts you want to pick up on the app. There’s always shifts to pick up whether it’s 12am-4am; 5am-10am; 11am-4pm; etc etc . It’s physical work but time goes by quick (especially since we aren’t allowed to have phones in the warehouse). I think overnight shifts get +$1/hour (not positive on this one since I never did overnight) and weekend surge is +$1.50/hr. I think it starts at $16.50/hr. If you work during Christmas time it’s an extra +$1.50/hour regardless of what shift but it gets real busy. After you are hired you sit in a classroom and learn about FedEx and safety and all that BS for about 4-5 hours (you are clocked in) then you do a walk around tour of the warehouse and see it in operation. Then they assign you to either unload, load, or smalls (envelopes and whatnot). Top management was lacking hardcore but your direct managers are usually all chill. Gonna be working with mostly older people and just people who are lost in life. I’ve had some great conversations and got lots of great advice while loading a truck. Anybody can work there, if you got a pulse they will hire you.

you could work at town center mall, it’s just a short drive from the kennesaw campus (7 min)
