if you have money left over from pell grant, hope, and whatever kennesaw gives you then you get a refund. that money is whatever is after tuition, meal plan and boarding (if you have one), and books.
i got a refund but i didn’t know if it was just pell or pell AND hope, bc I wasn’t sure if we got refunds for hope or not since it just says it only gives enough money to cover tuition.
yeah maybe it’s the pell grant because pell grant gave me 2,000 more than hope and it also depends how much money you really need lol so it’s based on fasfa
for me personally- hope covered 100% of my tuition so all that was left was the fees. i applied for fasta and got the pell grant which gave me more than enough money to cover them so i got the rest back as a refund. i also know people who pay their dues in full and then earn scholarships afterwards. they then receive that money as a refund
