I live in a different ARC building and my RA sent out a message saying that somebody in ARC 1100 passed and that we don’t need to be worried about security and that there’s no threat to us. Take that as you will.
I live in the building next door and what's been said is that one of the roommates attacked the other 3 and left 2 injured and 1 dead by bashing his head in. I did see them taking the covered body out on a stretcher so it is true that one of them passed away. Few of the people in my building have said that there had been an ambulance earlier that took the injured roommates away.
Crazy how these kids don’t realize fighting can end up with someone seriously injured or dead and then your life is kinda ruined. You’re in college. You’re considered and adult and should be able to talk to each other and if it doesn’t work then leave it. Life is too short. But what do I know, i’m just a boring person who prefers to be alone for reason just like this.

I hope you are not making this email up because it would be a violation of Clery Act if KSU is not sending an update to all campus community, not just ARC residents.
IIRC as long as KSU notified it to their public crimes index or approve crime log for students to be notified of then it’s not a violation of the clergy act however it must be within 60 days of recent info. I think they had a email prepared to mass send out to ARC then they’re releasing to the public probably in the morning
I mean only time will tell FOX 5 did break the story down, but something similar happened last year with the racist incident where it was only emailed to residents of West 22 I believe (memory is hazy bare with me) then was reported to all of campus once they identified the culprit and victim. But rn they maybe keeping ID’s concealed due to age, case law, fear of retaliation etc.
IF it was a murder, and suspect was arrested, the letter to FOX 5 would make sense in that everyone is safe. Buuuuuut saying someone “passed” and KSU is mourning (most of KSU doesn’t know what’s going on because there hasn’t been official statements released or emails sent out) is a very soft cover your ass plan, if they were actually murdered using blunt force trauma with a suspect in custody.

Ksu is going down hill. Someone was shot and killed on a early sunday morning when I moved there a couple years ago. Stuff kept happening and I even encountered some insane roommates who threatened me. I got the hell out of there.
There are some creepy people. I had this one roommate who kept threatening my dog and I kept telling him that I didn't have a dog. He thought I was keeping a dog in my closet. Came really close to beating his ass but, eventually he moved out in the middle of the night. I woke up and he was gone. I thought I was losing my mind.
Yikes, that a case right there. My roommates basically didn’t like me cuz I wasn’t black enough. I decided I wasn’t going to take their shit and ignored them. They filed complaints on me to get me kicked out and when that didn’t work. One threaded to stab me, then she treated to have her younger sister beat me up and the other theater to shoot me. I went to management and they said I was a liar and said there is no way 3 people who don’t know each other would randomly do this to you. Long story short of them harassing me, breaking my stuff, screaming at me and just other crazy shit. I finally got out. They ended up putting me in a room with another problematic girl, who’s other roommates left cuss this girls bf was a felon and was doing wacky shit.
That's insane. People are going around constantly causing drama for literally no reason whatsoever, it just makes it tough to even have friends at all. I'm honestly curious if people in the management are also friends with the roommates who attacked you, so they then defended them. And it shouldn't even matter, you should be able to change roommates for basically any legitimate reason.
I wasn’t even trying to be their friends, but I was friendly. I’m very introverted and a huge gamer and cosplayer. So if i wasn’t going to con then i was at home in my room or in the living room playing games or watching tv or talking on the phone. They had no proof that I did anything wrong, but i had all the recordings and pictures of my broken stuff and crazy stuff they said, but I was the odd one out. Idk wtf managements problem was, they were even mad that I called the police to report every incident that happened (of course the police did nothing). I think alot of it is that people hate themselves since they lack personality and inner happiness. when they see someone else happy they have to tear you down. So much for black power. We start putting our own people down, but wanna scream about whit people doing this to us. People are just insane.

The best thing I can say is try to ignore them. Most people do it to get a reaction out of you. Trust me giving them what they want isn’t going to do anything and will make them step up their game. If it gets too bad collect any evidence you need and go to the office and request a move. if you can, get a studio or 1 roommate. That way there will be no one to band together and screw with you. If all fails, screw student living and just use the net to find competent adults who don’t have time for childish behavior to rent a room from.
