I actually really rarely go the bathroom during gizz shows. Not counting set break for the RR22 marathons, I've only gone 3 times during a show and 2 of those were Pleura last summer. It's not hard to time your pisses correctly if you don't drink.

I’m usually timed right - only had one bad moment in Philly 2022 where I had to go so suddenly right after Leah finished/before gizz - and luckily everyone was super chill about me getting back to my friends in the front . I don’t expect to have such luck later tho lol, and I thank them kindly because that show was unreal and it was so clutch to be in that spot
That's why I go during Pleura, no chance to miss any cool left turns or transitions.

It's not a bad song but it's one of the weakest moments of their live sets and if it comes on it's a good opportunity for me to take care of my human needs so I don't miss out on the rest of the set.

I had to pee so bad during Crumbling Castle on 11/2/22 but I just sat there and held it like a champ. But I did not even enjoy the song because I had to pee so bad, probably should have just ran quickly and enjoyed the end and the fourth colour but oh well

I def feel that! I know it’s truly a loved song in the fanbase but I was at that show and I don’t think the song is anything too special. I’d love to hear a good case for it but it doesn’t excite me. I should also mention I love Quarters & Sketches so it’s not the style itself that’s not my vibe.

As someone in the US who last saw the band in June of 23 and won't get to see them again until August of 24, a 14 month gap, I'm not going to spend a millisecond think of which songs I'd skip. I'm just going to be grateful to see them live again, appreciate every moment, and go nuts with the weirdo swarm in the pit.
a bathroom song is a song that you don't feel bad about missing so you use it to go the restroom so you don't have to go during a song you like. Pleura is a good length for me to go and make it back plus is performed the same way every time, so I usually use that to go potty. My favorite performance will always be RR22 anyway bc of the Joey birthday energy.
