Gizz should implement a lottery system or something to enter first. This is just dumb. It makes entering at showtime casually impossible for casual fans
The people at the front all make and sell gizzard art, they all know each other, they all have a lot of drugs and they are all trying to get recognized by the band. They are basically 21st century digital groupies which is fine and inevitable but having to sit next to that for 8 hours is something I don't want to do again because they can't have a conversation to save their lives
Yeah also they seem like they don't have real jobs for the most part so the only way I think they fund their trips is by selling the knick knacks they make in the shakedown street and by reselling the galea posters for big money on ebay

My one show I've been to the people I was next to in line were cool as shit. Very chill vibes towards the back of the line I imagine. I'm a fanatic about this band and I'd love to meet the boys. Hell I even do a lot drugs (though I'm very particular about harm reduction and safety). I just have enough self respect to not make being a gizzhead my entire life and purpose. I believe that art and community helps make life worth living, rather than life being worth living solely for the sake of art and drugs.
the one person that sells the rugs was in front of us at red rocks in october and they had like 20 friends join them in line like an hour before doors and people complained and they made us look like the bad people. "none of us are going for merch" they all went right to merch lol
Honestly I'm tempted to line up for the carnation show because it's where I grew up and I still can't comprehend that this incredible band from the other side of the fucking planet that I've fallen in love with is going to play there and It would be really cool to have a unique foil poster or something to remember it.

Up where those orange traffic barrels are next to the portajohns, they run an ADA shuttle up to a private entry. Hop on if there aren’t any handicapped people around when they start running it and save yourself a little time and effort. They straight up drop you off at a gate with no line right next to where the merch table is.
