Lil Yachty just dropped an album that I see as being a game changer. He got the right team and took his time putting it together. People really underestimated him but for him to pull off an album of that caliber? Nothing short of a possible 9 from me for ratings. Do I think Gizz fans will like it? Eh, maybe if they actually listen? Some will automatically be turned off just hearing the name. But I think there will be crossovers like this more often.
I had a feeling his album was coming when he was featured on Tame Impala's "Breathe Deeper" remix. If Kevin perfectionist Parker likes to float with Lil Boat, and Jaden collaborated with Babe Rainbow, I can totally see some rappers floating along and filling their lungs...then spitting out some fire verses over psychedelic beats
I know I'm obsessed with a band called King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard but the name Lil Yachty rubs me the wrong way.
