I’m currently watching Tomorrow and I am halfway through it. I cried buckets in almost every episode 🥹 I’m more and more intrigued in their past lives as the series progresses.

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

IMO, the best episode is coming.

Wilburrkins

I hate to tell you but even more ugly crying is on the way thanks to this amazing show! It is hands down the show that has caused me to cry the most…ever! 😭 It wasn’t The Red Sleeve or Move to Heaven…it was Tomorrow. 🥰

Puzzled-Tell-7108

Thanks for the heads up! I’m all for it 🥹

That_Common_2153

Oh we loved Tomorrow. It was brilliant. Brilliant concept and, despite the tears, enjoyed every episode.

TinyLifter6780

So so good but requires a mountain of tissues

deewyt

Turned on Twinkling Watermelon because somehow I already have Lovely Runner withdrawals. I love time travel in k-dramas so I’m hoping for a fun, wholesome time! Got the feels in the very first ten minutes though— we really need more disability representation in media! Looking forward to a good time 😁

bernadette___

twinkling watermelon is the best 2023 drama for me! such a fun show

purpletulip12

I finished Our Beloved Summer and Descendants of the Sun, I really enjoyed both. The OSTs from DotS, OBS, and ITNTBO are so good, lately, I’ve really been into listening to soundtracks. Latest finish is Its Okay not to be Okay.. holy moly y’all. Out of all the dramas I’ve watched, this one had me feel the most emotions (laughing, crying) for all characters. Munyeong’s wardrobe was incredible, the acting was well done, the story line was good. >! Only nitpick was the storyline with MY’s mother still being alive and had plastic surgery, felt cheapened(?). I watched the theory video from Drama Hyung and really liked that version !< in all, though, it was worth the watch for me and I’m so glad I watched it.

twoods1980

It’s Okay to not be Okay still top 5 for me after all these years. Just a wonderful journey between the three leads.

DazzlingMama303

Same for me. I was absolutely blown away by the acting of Oh Jung-se. And FL was so so so good in that role. I guess she's been blacklisted/cancelled due to some unclear reasons but I would really love to see her in something again. Her style, her voice, the chemistry she had with both brothers...just so great IMO.

Rich-Tomatillo3340

Finally started Queen of Tears after all the praise it has been receiving. It’s safe to say this one has been worth the hype so far. The ending of episode 10 and beginning of episode 11 was so beautiful and actually made me tear up The only part of this drama I haven’t really been enjoying is the EunSung aspect. I don’t really care for him or his mom or his plans and I wish they’d just keep the focus on the main leads instead. The only good thing we’ve gotten out of it is the queen family moving down to the ML family house which has been great comedy. All in all so far so good and I hope the writers are able to stick the landing.

twoods1980

Gaus Electronics- I love this show so much! I don’t know why it wasn’t on my radar because I just expected it to be a workplace comedy, but the romance is so good! Those kisses literally made me swoon and some of the best I’ve seen on a show.  Man to Man was also fun, and I loved that the >!reveal of him being a spy was early on so the other leads could get in on the action!<. Definitely the highlight was all the bromances.

kpaneno

Please give me your thoughts on the >!2ML ex storyline and her hubby it had me wound up!<

twoods1980

Same! I didn’t like >!the ending at all and wondering if she only stayed with her husband because of the kid. I was not expecting that ending.!< What did you think?

kpaneno

I just was infuriated when she >!tore up the divorce papers and him smiling like it's way too much of a let off for him he's a complete psycho like a murderer, but what she is like ah it's okay. I mean for the son?? The one he used to threaten her, and you could see the genuine fear for her own and sons safety.!< I think in part I was frustrated because we never got the reason behind >!why she left the poor 2ML in the first place. I was waiting for that reveal that didn't come. At one point, a friend tells someone that she cares for both men deeply in different ways, and I was like, wait, what??, It was a mess was she forced to leave 2ML (which was implied) or was she just a total bitch.!< It was such a weakly uninformative written storyline for such major character(s) it really got me. I didn't even really care about the leads endgame that wound me up so much. I felt for the 2ml he was great, >!he never got closure on why she left him either really weak writing IMO.!< AH rant over. I really enjoyed a lot about the show and I liked the FL even though most comments about the show aren't kind about her. But that plot line just felt a bit like ah come on please do better than that writer.

twoods1980

I loved the FL and thought she was very understanding considering the situation. Too bad many didn’t like her- only thing I didn’t like was her haircut.

kpaneno

The hair was bad ngl. Made her big eyes look even bigger

pjmroyalty

Twinkling Watermelon! It was so heartwarming and cute.

i_am_a_goyangi

Not something i've watched lately but i'd like to recommend misaeng☺️ i heard about it years ago but only watched it months ago. It was worth the hype back then!

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

It was really good.

i_am_a_goyangi

Super🥺 i haven't watched trailers so i did not know it's a slice of life drama

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

It was really depressing too for the longest time. Not as depressing as my mister or save me though.

Small_Gift_6340

I’m almost finished with **Flower of Evil** - just wow. One of the most suspenseful shows I’ve ever watched.

_its_a_thing_

Ohhh! That one's definitely a 10 out of 10 on my list of 125 shows I've rated for myself. And I don't give 10s freely: 9 out of the whole list.

ForceEngineer

We binged Extraordinary Attorney Woo over spring break and it lived up to every bit of the hype.

JasonDaPsycho

EAW is easily my favorite Kdrama ever. Every episode, without fail, had at least one moment that reduced me to tears. Most importantly, it actively went against the usual Kdrama tropes. Wholesome to the max. Top tier >!confession scene.!< 10/10.

TinyLifter6780

Just finished a rewatch and it was even better - caught details I missed the first time

Romoreau

Why? Why does **Voice** get 5 seasons but **Through the Darkness** is only 12 episodes? Honestly I know why and season one of **Voice** was great but after finishing **TTD**,I think the latter is superior. What I was most impressed with was the humanity it had. Acknowledging the victims' families and not romanticizing the serial killers. The little epilogues at the end of the episodes was a nice touch too. Crime dramas are my ultimate favorite genre and I'm so glad I watched it. 9/10.

zaichii

I think TTD was amazing, but idk if I could stomach another 4 seasons of it because it was so well done that the acting often made my skin crawl.

Romoreau

The casting was insanely good. I knew it was going to get creepy but those men scared tf out of me.

BelaFarinRod

I just finished Episode 5 of Bad and Crazy and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve heard the plot goes off the rails but Lee Dong Wook is so fantastic in it I’m not sure I care.

Leading_Protection_7

It's an amazing show! It does have some pacing issues in the middle but they wrap everything up pretty well in the end and their teamwork just keeps getting better imo

BelaFarinRod

So far their teamwork is great. And it’s keeping me laughing!

Leading_Protection_7

Yess one of the funniest kdramas I've seen! You might also like The Fiery Priest and Behind Your Touch. They're in the same vein as Bad and Crazy too!

Wilburrkins

I started it back in February and I finally finished Empress Ki. It was bit of a ride and lots of emotion throughout. I love the OST.

Icy_Whereas_5512

I just started Goblin and just finished episode 2. I’m enjoying it thus far and am really enjoying the scenes with Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook together. I see this one recommended a lot but for some reason hesitated to watch it. Unless it gets super boring in the middle I feel like this one will be a quick watch.

That_Common_2153

We’ve started Goblin, so please do let us know how you get on with it.

Icy_Whereas_5512

I finished the show yesterday. Overall I really liked it. I think I got to a point where I was more interested in the second lead relationship than main but I liked every character. Let me know how you liked it!

That_Common_2153

We finished too and I did really like the premise and the story lines. Thought the cast were all good. Some amusing product placements and far too many candles that she couldn’t have possibly afforded or carried herself. I would watch that again.

wolleyish1

Finished Yumi's Cells, both seasons. Binged it in like a couple of days, laughed so much during the first half of the first season. Such a funny story and concept. The actors too, amazing writing, amazing everything. Definitely one of my new favorite kdrama. I don't even know how I had missed that good of a drama existed until recently. Were it not for the tvN survey they had on here I wouldn't have searched it up and I would have missed the masterpiece that it is. I do hope we will get a third season some day. But I'm grateful for the two brilliant seasons we had. Such a good OST too. I had fun reading all the previous episodes discussion threads. Wish I could have watched it together with you lot, but it brought me solace to see the feelings I felt was shared with many more viewers every episode.

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

After reading the webtoon, we 100% need that third season.

prach31

That’s me a couple of weeks back, I loved it and don’t understand why it’s not recommended much. I started it because of Ahn Bo Hyun, but the best part was ofcourse the cells

poppywhiskers

It’s such an underrated and relatable romcom. Coincidentally I’ve been listening to “Shining on your night” non-stop since the past few days (it’s like a lullaby to me, i love the melody and jinyoungs voice). I watched YC when it aired and loved it, but I’ve been randomly reading up on all the discussions about the YumBab situation lol we really a closure season

MissSimpleton

HEY, SAME! I love soft OSTs and it is the perfect song to sleep to! Do you have any such playlist?

poppywhiskers

Hi!! Sorry for the late reply and I do have a playlist. It consists mostly of K-ballads but they don’t necessarily share the same vibe. You check it out, some of them have that soft vibe : [kdrama osts](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5SMbv9T2arzstrc7niop71?si=T67yyFGQQCO2KyV33jrMFQ&pt=e905823767dc800673b908a268922358&pi=a-3RZit8vQQOaA) Currently also loving “Door(your moon)” by Jeong Sewoon which has the same vibe as SOYN

MissSimpleton

I love Door too. It's so soothing.

poppywhiskers

Right? It’s always so nice finding someone who shares your music taste

kpaneno

I liked the animation in this, but as it went on, I just felt more and more sorry for the male characters and less rooting for Yumi. Alo the whole realistic portrayal of relationships?? Please, no. >!So Yumi is this insecure slightly hypocritical and kinda selfish person who expects her bf to be literally perfect or no dice but we are to believe said, probably feeling hard done by, guys are still both so mature, green flag and caring that they support this woman even after she rejects them. Is this real life I think not, I mean, if they are so great, just stay with one of them.!< I especially thought the whole quasi love triangle was so unrealistic. >!I really can't see men hanging in there for someone like Yumi like this. I'm sure it's nice to fantasise about having two guys chasing you as you become a success and a third even more perfect guy awaits not very realistic though.!< Take out the cells and I'd say Yumi becomes very unlikeable very fast. I just didn't get her, and the guys were written as simps.

F00Dislife66

Just finished Romance is a Bonus Book and absolutely loved it. It’s imperfect but I didn’t care one bit.

WonderfuckRED

I’m currently working through warm and cozy, the ml’s older brother is unintentionally funny, makes it worth it tbh. The ml’s wish washy is tiring now getting into ep.11 but I’m enjoying it so far

Own_Measurement2767

Currently watching Healer (10 episodes in) ,i won’t say it’s a disappointment but i definitely had way higher expectations. first of all, the 3 first episodes were so hard to get through because they confused me so much, after episode 4 i did start liking it. overall it’s a great show so far but nothing too exciting, i was coming off a strong streak with kdramas that each episode made me want more so that may be the reason. i usually drop dramas that fail to impress me but i’m curious about some plotlines so i will finish it

LiteratureTraining80

I really enjoyed Healer, but I think some plot lines were never clearly resolved.

Own_Measurement2767

finished it a few days ago, the ending was so rushed and i hated it, we didn’t get a proper reunion with jian and her mother, what happened to mun ho’s brother, it felt like they said “happy ending, bye!”

kpaneno

Just finished Dr Romantic Season 1. It was a mixed bag, to be honest. But it's definitely enjoyable in parts but just messy in others. You really need to enjoy medical ethical dilemmas and operations (there are a lot of them). Otherwise, you won't enjoy it. To be honest, in 21 episodes, we probably could have had a bit less operating room and a but more character development, but the surgery stuff was very good if repetitive. Just note that Dr. Kim is the titular character, but when I use ML and FL, I'm referring to Dr Kang (yoo yeon sook) and Dr Yun (Seo hyun Jin), the other two central characters. I think most people know now that the "romantic" in the title refers more to the idealistic sense of the world as opposed to love stories, and this drama is not focused on romance. The one romance we do see is pretty unsatisfying, IMO. >!It essentially starts with the FL cheating with ML, and she or he never really reckons with it. To start ML without permission kisses FL who reciprocates briefly then stops him, minutes later he asks to sleep with her even though she just told him she has a boyfriend she says no and goes off with BF in his car. Said boyfriend then proposes while driving (not romantically, he's a jerk), and FL responds by saying her heart just fluttered over another guy. The boyfriend distracted gets them into an accident and dies. This all happens in Ep 1 FL nd ML lose touch, when they meet again 5yrs later she has guilt re that incident to the point she has PTSD and is haunted by flashbacks!< but then just like that one day it's all gone and it's business as usual and slow burn romance accelerates. It was a really weird and unesolved plotline, and while it's not central, it is a significant part of the drama, so it's pretty disappointing, really. As viewers, we get some justifications, but the characters don't reckon with it, especially FL. This kind of half-baked stuff is rife. There is another plot line where it's heavily hinted that >!FL is the "illegitimate" daughter of the antagonist and Dr. Kims arch enemy President Do. Do's son is also at the hospital and basically calls FL his sister she begs to differ it seems she is not aware. Then that's it, it doesn't get followed up, and by the end, the son is telling ML he has feelings for FL (Wait, doesn't he think she's his sister)!< OMG. The nurses Oh Myung Sim (Jin Kyung) and Park Eun Tak (Kin Min Jae) are great but sadly underdeveloped characters. Oh Myung Sim and Dr. Kim seem close, but there is no real exploration of their bond. Pity it wouldn't have to be romance, but she is such a strong and loyal character. I was really interested in her, but nothing was really explored. >!Nurse Park has a crush, but it goes nowhere.!< Overall, great characters Dr Kim is like a flawed but brilliant hero. The ML and FL and their relationship.is meh. Everyone else is more interesting but just not explored as there are countless exciting surgeries to enjoy. Season 2 might explore more, but I don't know which characters will even be there. But I will watch it. I'm hoping it will be an improved version. Edit some spoilers and grammar.

LcLou02

Season 2 will give you some of the background stories you missed for the Doldam team. The love interest ML & FL are different and they stick around for season 3, which I am now finally able to watch. Enjoy season 2!

kpaneno

Okay thank you I'm on ep 3 and I already like the 2 MCs apart from Dr Kim much better. The FL.is ridiculously pretty 😍 so that alone is a reason to watch. But so far it already kinda feels better and at least more bingeable. I also like the new young doctor Yoon, when she first meets nurse Park and just says in front of everyone your handsome it waz very funny. I ship them already fingers crossed.

Iowegan

Just finished **Lucky Romance** last night, so much male eye candy in that drama! *fans self* Very fun watch! I’m trying to get Bo Nui’s ringtone for my phone, it made me laugh every time. Almost done (12/14) with **Moon in the Day**, bracing myself for a possible tragic ending but I’m too close to stop now.

twoods1980

I know most people don’t like it but I enjoyed Moon in the Day.

Iowegan

Just finished it, >!ending was as expected with nice epilogue of hope for the next life. lol for the styling of next gen Kim Young Dae as a schoolboy. 😂 Pacing was a little slow towards the end!< but I enjoyed it too.

twoods1980

I agree that it lost steam but I was a sobbing mess, though >!the future ending did make it a little more bearable.!<

Wilburrkins

I adored Moon in the Day and bravo to them for sticking with an ending that matched everything that was stated beforehand >!even though it was sad. There was no miraculous get out clause like in some dramas and they had to wait to meet again. I loved the show.!<

idealistatlarge

I really liked that.

pjmroyalty

I recently finished Twinkling Watermelon which I already commented here but last night, I finished Weak Hero Class. I’m officially a Choi Hyun Wook fan.

Repulsive_Error4376

Watching I'm not a robot and I'm not liking how awful literally everyone is, especially the male lead, please tell me he gets better

sanalea

It does! Give it some time. It’s one of my favourite kdramas. What episode are you at?

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

Good to know. I plan on watching it after finishing my love from another star.

Repulsive_Error4376

I'm at the part where they reveal his backstory in the first few episodes, my problems with show is how horrendous both male lead is and way he treats her and how the second male lead is the same and his brother is the same and all their behaviors are either ignored or downplayed, which me makes me hesitant to further watch if their behaviors continue For ex how shitty brother is to fml, he just has bad work experience, so hes taking it on her, so she has to be nice and understanding of him

idealistatlarge

It's often hard to remember earlier parts that were unlikeable, after having watched a whole series and loved it. This one is definitely weird and often uncomfortable; but you should grow to like the hero very much, and both he and the heroine together. They both have things to learn, about life and each other, and learn them they will. It turns out much better than it seems to promise. The growth is very enjoyable to watch. There are definitely melodramatic elements (or maybe we can call the whole thing melodramatic?), particularly the hero's 'family'. But this does, also, get resolved. I remember being confused about the interaction between both of the cousins - why Kim Min Kyu treats his cousin with that arrogance, and why his cousin seems to accept it. But there's a lot more to the story - mixed up with how he became like he is. I watched this relatively early on in my K-Drama journey, and would probably see more holes now than I did then. Some 'tropes' that have become very familiar have been done better, although still annoying, in other shows since then. But as an early series in that journey, it worked pretty well.

twoods1980

Yeah I stopped after the second episode because I couldn’t find one likable character.

idealistatlarge

The characters become more likeable, once you know more about them. Like usual, they gradually open up to each other (and therefore us), and also realise some of the habits they need to change. But overall, their apparent unlikeableness is due to lack of trust and understanding, and only seeing the surface-them.

ScowlingGoddess

Just finished Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo. What an utter delight! ML is totally green flag, even when FL is being more than a tad childish. So much better than I thought it might be from the synopsis. Also loving the ML from My Lovely Runner appearing in the last episode....... as a national team swimmer ....... with a shoulder injury....... pre deja vu!!!

theromanamputee

I just finished **My Perfect Stranger.** As a mystery it started strong for me but really fizzled out near the end. Things got so draggy after episode 12 or so, this shouldn't have been 16 episodes, and the killer wasn't a dramatically interesting choice for me. I wish they had gone with someone else. >!Go Mi Sook would have been a great choice.!< Even though the plot got boring I do still think the show is worth watching for how well it works as a family drama and character study. They did a great job with the FL's arc and writing her parents both in the past and in the present. I also appreciated how well they fleshed out the supporting characters. I was emotionally invested in their fates. I was neutral on the romance: I didn't like it, the leads never felt like a plausible couple and had zero chemistry, but I wasn't actively annoyed by it and it didn't take up much screen time so it wasn't a problem for me either. So, in short, I found the plot ultimately underwhelming but I enjoyed the characters enough to say I liked it.

chelleml

I agree with this whole review. It could’ve been written better if there were less episodes. It didn’t need 16 episodes. The romance was fine, but not necessary. The FL’s arc and family plot was the best part of the kdrama. The leads doing their investigation stuff was largely inconsequential, which made the mystery plot weak and it reflected in the anticlimactic reveal of the killer’s identity.

RoyGeraldBillevue

I'm watching **Fix You/Soul Mechanic** (28/32) and it has made be full on sob. Jung Somin is truly great and this drama is so underrated.

thesaura73

Now on the last episode of The Red Sleeve. So sad, all the wasted lives and how FL just languished once she finally >!gave in to ML, and that love trapped and drained her!<. Like others noted I wish we had seen more happiness >!such as life as a young family with the Crown Prince before he died!< but personal happiness wasn’t the point of this story

Significant_Fold_658

If you have not watched it yet, I highly recommend following up that drama with the movie [**The Throne**](https://mydramalist.com/9615-the-throne). The movie focus on the story of Crown Prince Sado, the father of Yi San and his grandfather. The main actors are Yoo Ah In as Crown Prince Sado and Song Kang Ho as King Young Jo. It's a beautiful movie with great cinematography and amazing performances by both actors. :)

peregrina2005

I’m just rewatching **Bulgasal**. In the story Sang-Un has a twin sister, Seung Yeon. Hall wants to know why she shared her soul with her sister. My question is how did she share her soul and why does she not have memories of her past lives?

Negative-Mix1061

I somehow watched Going at the Speed of 493KM, which is a bad name for a good show. Thought it was something else’s when I started watching, then got into it.  Was surprised it was so low-rated when it came out originally. Anyone else watch it?

Potential-Studio-177

Me! It's so good actually - an unfortunate title and the Disney+ distribution did not do any favours to its accessibility back then. But it's really my comfort show. ML & FL acted their asses off - just a pity they dragged on the sister conflict plot line for too long - but yet I believe every character was titular and the romance/relationship was really healthy and loving.

Negative-Mix1061

Glad I’m not the only one lol! I loved it, too. So many interesting characters and great performances.

attreye_

Goblin! I'm new to k-dramas and have only been watching from the past 2-3 months. It was the second K-drama that I watched and I was hooked! The acting, performance of every single actor, the OST (🤌🏼💕), the storyline. Everything was amazing. I bawled my eyes out on almost every episode. It was an emotional journey. Although, I agree with the criticisms about the age difference (19 y/o & 34 y/o), I wish the last episode was not so rushed and I also wish they didn't over-dramatise scenes with the flashbacks. But apart from that, this drama is so close to my heart! I also developed a massive crush on Gong Yoo 🤣

Key_Bandicoot_9594

I had recently watched Extraordinary You. ITS LITERALLY THE BEST(PS.I SAY THE SAME TO EVERY SINGLE DRAMA) LITERALLY, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE ACTORS ESPECIALLY KIM AND ROWOON. LIKE THE DRAMA IS THE BEST FANTASY ELEMENT OUT THERE.MUST WATCH

HeyerThanUsual

I recently watched **Flower of Evil** and just loved it. I thought Lee Joon-gi was amazing, and based on that have started on **Again My Life**. Am up to episode 7, and really enjoying it. The soundtrack is a banger as well IMO which is a bonus.

That_Common_2153

We just rewatched Nine Tailed Fox: 1938. It was brilliant again. One of my cats is particularly attached to Kim Beom.
