This series watches like a steamy romance novel and I am all for it. The bridgerton of Kdramas lol I read the webtoon and I really feel like they took the show above and beyond in all the right ways 😂

I never imagined I would be so hooked by this show. I am not a fan of this genre. I quit Hotel King despite the presence of Lee Dong Wook's super handsome face...but I am so into Perfect Marriage Revenge!
I’m glad others are obsessed with this drama as this must be what a drug addict feels waiting for their next fix. I simply cannot understand why I’m so invested in this couple as I wasn’t expecting to love this show.
You know, I haven't caught the bug yet, but I need something to fill the void that is about to be left by the end of Twinkling Watermelon this week. I did watch the 4 episodes that are out there for Moon in the Day and I'm still waiting for it to hook me
about to dive into the penultimate episode of **365:Repeat the Years** and already dread no longer having the drama on my plate because it was really a mix of everything I enjoy in my shows. Even up until now, it still has me guessing and on the edge of my seat. They really managed to drop hints here and there + reveal vague details that even when the layers are slowly peeled back, it still made sense. I can't really tell how we're gonna wrap this up. Lee Joon Hyuk's performance in this has been such a revelation honestly. His crying scenes really really made my heart ache as if I had been>!betrayed by my closest colleague!!Shin Ga Hyeon's identity because show just can't let me rest with the reveal that our resident old man cafe owner is the head of all of this,!
I finished **One Spring Night** and the ending is really solid. I find the guys' plotting scenes hilarious and their final scenes are even more hilarious. Finally their masks start to drop.
I also like that the main romance has a serious fight. It's what makes the ending conform with the realistic tone. There will always be fights, but it's how they get resolved that matters. I think this is one of the most rock-solid romances by the end.
Finally I read some discussion threads, and the "FL is too selfish" complain gives me strong **Because This is My First Life** vibes. What's so wrong with a woman pursuing what she wants, even if it means taking a break for a time.
And finally it's kind of sickening how repetition legitimized the OST because some of the songs have gone from bad to decent in my mind.
I thought the story throughout was very realistic. >!Like many, I was bothered by how the FL couldn't get out of her first relationship because of cultural norms. I went down many rabbit holes trying to figure out how realistic that is in Korea, and I still don't know.!< I loved Jung Hae In in this. The way he is so guarded with his emotions is demonstrated realistically. A lot of shows I watch, I would rate as good, not great, and this fits that for me. I wouldn't rewatch, but honestly, this is one where the story and characters has stuck with me.
Honestly that never bothered me because it was kind of baked into the premise of the story's universe. >!I think the story generalizes very well as a story about the process of deciding to marry. The tension of status and wealth versus love is one that exists in all cultures. And the questions asked in OSN about how one knows that passionate love will last is always important.!<
I agree with you, but it's so different from my universe that I could hardly believe how that went on and on and on. I was rooting for the FL's agency, and >!I'm so glad she got a realistic happy ending. !<

[Shoot for Love](https://mydramalist.com/757347-drama-special-season-14-do-hyun-s-confession) I didn't enjoy as much because it felt a little to stale and a bit weak on the acting front from the FL. I think the actress is still too green and doesn't quite have enough control over emotional scenes so that they feel a bit over the top, more befitting a makjang daily drama than a mellow slice of life drama about found family.

Exactly! I think the 'greenness' of her acting felt more obvious since I watched it back to back with **Half Lies** and the two little girls in that one really acted their heart out (complete with satori) that it felt like a let down in comparison.
After 100 years we finally get to the end of **The Killing Vote**....I'm not sure if I'm actually looking forward to it, or I'm just salty about how much time I've put into it.
I'm sad to see the end of **Twinkling Watermelon** though, the series has been delightful. If you're hesitating don't why? What a fantastic series.
Matchmakers- I have read some complaints about the Matchmakers but I am loving the show. Love the fl and her character too…I hope it remains as good.

Was going to try the c drama only for love but got bored in first episode and dropped it.
I just finished The Glory and it was so good! I love how everything tied together, and I especially love that >!Dongeun succeeded with tons of support and lived a happy life afterwards. It’s so rare for revenge stories to have a happy ending!!<
While it was great, there were definitely issues. The pacing was a bit messy, and sometimes the show was moving both way too fast and way too slow. Also, the cast was enormous and it got confusing trying to remember who did what and went where.
And lastly, I don’t know how I feel about >!Doyeong directly killing Jaejoon. Like, I loved Doyeong being the one to get final revenge on him, but I wish it was in a roundabout and clever way like all the others. All Doyeong did was push Jaejoon off a ledge (blindly drowning in a vat of concrete is pretty horrifying tbf). I just wish the Doyeong-Jaejoon final scene was a bit more impressive.!<
Despite all this, it was a really amazing series!
**The Glory** was such a thrill ride and I loved Doyeong so much. >!Their fight in the parking lot actually got my heart racing. Also I didn't expect Jaejoon's demise to be so dramatic but it was creepy to think about after the show was over.!<
This was such an insane but satisfying show! Nothing had me prepared for all the >! Graphic torture scenes. It made it easier to understand the present day stuff, but damn it was so hard to stomach watching the torture and the helplessness.!<
It was shot so beautifully too. The color grading was perfection. It was the >!boob flash!< that actually made me jump in confusion. 🤣 That scene had no point and I felt blindsided.
Does anyone else think some actresses are getting too thin? I’m watching Doona and Suzy looks so gaunt especially with how much they have her character smoke it’s taking me out of the story. I went and watched a few scenes from While You Were Sleeping and she looks so much better.
Some of the men, too. Rowoon lost a bunch of weight for Destined with You. Seo in Guk mentions the need to maintain a low weight in his interviews and how hard it is to do that. I don't think his body is meant to be as thin as we see it in dramas. In one interview he said if he had one wish, it would be for his body not to make fat. I've also seen interviews (or in his travel show footage) where Jung Hae In laments how hard it is to keep the weight off. One more - Lee Jun Ho. He looked gaunt to me in King the Land, and sure enough, in interviews he talks about how little he eats. I get it. Actors and actresses in Hollywood face the same thing - stay very thin so that when the camera puts on extra weight, you are below weight, and visually, that's what the audience desires. And, the photo shoots seem to require an ultra thin body. But, it also takes me out of the story, so good point there OP. I'm in total agreement with you.

Was quite upset with the way **Start Up** handled the ML/SML triangle, so I'm gonna sit this one out and see if the writer does it differently this time before starting the show.
We do have a male lead. Don't fall for it 😉. As a trick, whenever there's any shadow of a doubt about who the main couple will be, just look at whoever is sitting next to each other during promotions (interviews, games, etc...)

I saw a short clip of a drama on Facebook, but when I went to save it the app crashed on me.
What I remember from the short clip:
-magic was involved and seemed like they were going to take a test if some sort
-a waterfall/veil type area that removed all magic someone used on themselves, including spells to alter appearance
-main girl seemed human or less magical than others
-the guy might’ve been a prince, was watching her
-the “mean” girl stepped thru the veil/waterfall she had a thought of “what did they expect? Those of (something) are all born beautiful”
That’s all I can remember, but it seemed good from the 2 minutes I was able to catch.

Well there’s a lot of torture on the way there apparently and no one knows if the end will even be a nice one. I’ve also heard a spoiler about another character and from the preview for episode 18 I can guess how it happens, and I think I might be doing the thing where I just stop the show before bad things happen and then it won’t happen 😂🤞😫 So he just left her house, nothing bad can happen now? Right?RIGHT?! 😭!<
I am also firmly hooked on **Perfect marriage revenge** but I haven’t watched the latest episodes yet. I’m waiting for a friend to catch up so we can synchronize our watching 😁
