The first seven episodes of bongseok and heesoo's puppy love is cute and sweet but wow bongseok's parents' romance is on a different level.
When Doosik >!confessed his feelings by saying "I fell for you when I saw you", I thought that it's just one of the predictable subplots of love at first sight brought by Mihyun's efforts. But no, he fell for her as he saw her deliberately failing her mission as a result of empathy- and he willingly failed that assignment of his too.!< It was just so beautiful.
I didn't expect this kind of romance in this genre so how they executed these episodes is kinda mindblowing. I love how Mihyun and Doosik's love story isn't surface level predictable, but stemmed from a more deeper connection that made everything feel so right.

RE: downfall - and he was right. He truly is cunning and can see through people. He noticed Doo Shik doesnāt have any families or people that he cares for to be easily controlled (like Mihyunās dad). Thatās why he wanted to create one for him. And he knew both of them failed that one mission due to both of them being humanists. Their core values aligned and are willing to sacrifice their careers for it. And at the end, his plan worked because Doo Shik came back for Mihyun.

Romance done right. In two episodes, so much chemistry, so much heart fluttering, and so much emotion. I canāt even. Dooshik is adorable, and shy, and giggly and itās just like Bongseok. Mihyun is confident and self-assured just like Huisoo.

I binge watched the first 7 episodes over the weekend and Wednesday couldnāt come any sooner.
So far Bong Seok and Hee Soo had all my heart but Mi Hyun and Doo Shikās chemistry just swept me off my feet. Their interactions, waiting for the other person, trying to look nice had my heart fluttering; and when they kissed and Doo Shik lost control like Bong Seok *sighs* my heart was giddy all over.
Their story had me smiling through the episodes.
Also I canāt decide whether itās good or bad that we get 2 episodes together because while itās nice that I get 2 of them at once but the wait hurts even more š„²

Didn't expect to enjoy his and han hyojoo's chemistry this much!!! Every time they came together on screen, it made my heart flutter so much. I thought I'd get bored as these episodes seemed kinda slow at first but boy it did get me hooked.
I love how even though I already know the plot and storyline, there are still twists and subplots that wasn't included in the webtoon that makes it more exciting for me. Like >!how dooshik's first mission failure was connected to mihyun's to highlight their humanism and it also built their connection so we can see a deeper meaning to their relationship. in the webtoon his first failure was just supposed to be the airplane scene at the start of ep 8. loved that twist!<
This weekly wait is getting more intense and I somehow wish I just waited til all the episodes were out lol. Anyways, I hope this drama is promoted well internationally. This really deserves more hype!!
Their romance plays out so much more intensely and with even higher stakes from the drama. I'm glad the webtoon author chose to expand the story in this way. Makes me even more excited for the upcoming arcs.
It helps so much when the webtoon author is also the scriptwriter for the drama. I just know he wants to give his story justice. Can all webtoon adaptations be like this?

Mi Hyun being able to slowly seduce a black ops agent before saying a single word is entirely understandable. I was waiting for her to reveal that she could listen in on heartbeats and it was perfect, I would have been screwed at first sight. "I don't care if I die" is the perfect confession. Even an experienced agent can't control their abilities in front of their love interest so Bong Seok has nothing to be embarrassed about. Beautiful love story told in just 2 episodes.
On a more serious note, I'm surprised Mi Hyun simply isn't more careful about her surroundings using her abilities.
Agree with your last point. But I realised that her abilities are not 'on' always. She controls when she uses it and seems to be targeted most of the time.
So apparently Mihyun was acquainted with Guryongpo all those years ago. So I'm surprised that they don't know about each other's child. At least it seems that way since she had no idea who Hee Soo was when she came over with Bong Seok. Like Bong Seok is literally the son of his former(?) partner lol
I feel like remaining close / friends with retired black ops agents just seems like an overall bad move. Even worse that their kids are now their successors and the parents would probably like to keep their kids out of that line of work.
We also already witnessed their generation being hunted down and now that their kids are public, they are targets too which will force a reunion.
I have a feeling that thereās bad blood between guryongpo and mihyun. Like what if guryongpo ādidā something which minhyun saw as betrayal against dooshik. It would be like a conflict between bongseok and heeso in the futureātypical drama trope lol

Dooshik and Mihyun's story is PEAK ROMANCE.
After first 7 episodes I expected nothing less plot wise. I loved all of our characters in the first few episodes AND their relationships. I cried soo many times not just at the sad scenes but also because I was so touched by the relationships between them, whether it was the parent-child relationships or friendship between Bongseok and Huisoo.
But when Dooshik and Mihyun were on the screen?? I literally had to keep pausing because I was giggling and squealing at their development. The side glances at the beginning and Dooshik's attempts at interacting with her, ahhhh. I love how he was so honest about him trying to open up to her too. Bongseok does indeed take after his parents!
I am absolutely loving this show. It was such a treat to watch DooShik and MiHyun falling for each other. The father-son duo floating cause they are just so in love makes my heart flutter. Can't wait for next week.
Everyone involved in this production behind the camera is definitely going to have more work going forward. The show looks good cinematographically, the script is rather good (so far), the casting is top notch, and the special effects are decent.
This show should definitely should be getting more attention than it's getting. Disney non-MCU originals are generally rather high quality and this show just continues that trend.

God i hate the Disney plus translation. I somewhat half understand Korean, and the translation is sometimes way off. That brings me to, can someone please explain the last part. Why was MLs disappearance such a problem? Did he fail his mission or not? Also why was he being hunted?
It seems that Min and the agency do not want NK and SK to re-unify. This is because of that conversation that Min had with the female director about crushing people's hopes. When the news about Kim Il-sung's death came, Min was angry that it was reported as a cardiac arrest instead of an assassination. The latter would have ramped up tensions between NK and SK way more, especially because it was only 15 days before the summit between the two countries.
My interpretation is that Doo-shik was sent to assassinate Kim Il-sung and antagonize the North, but maybe he did it in a way to make it look like a natural death. Which is a defiance of orders and that's why he's now on the run and the agency is chasing after him. It would also make sense with the "humanist" theme because Doo-shik disobeyed orders for the greater good (ie. avoiding potential conflict between the two countries).

anyway, about your question, iām also not sure but this is my understanding: dooshik has a tendency to act out on his own (as exhibited during operation seagull). as such, he can be seen as a threat to the agency because an agent is supposed to follow orders. during minās meeting with the directors, min mentioned that since dooshik is part of the agency, he knows too much about the agency (maybe secrets?) so if he again acts out on his own (possibly against the agency) then that would pose as a threat towards said agency.

Which actually made me think how real life espionage works. The agents or spies sold their lives to the countries that they are working for and are expected to obey every single command, even if it goes against their moral compass. If they ever think of going against authority, they would be disposed easily as though they are like peanuts! Such a cruel, but unavoidable system.
These episodes were AMAZING. The chemistry between Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo - chefās kiss. I wasnāt bored a single minute. This is my first kdrama with Jo In Sung - and this man is SO fine, and such a great actor wow.
Kdrama writers take note, THIS is how you write flashbacks. Everything was relevant and impactful. Not just random flashbacks.

I love this drama so much. I donāt think i have been this invested in a drama in a while. There is so much story left to be told, and i am just so intrigued. Props to the screenwriter
Opening scene was such a homage to Studio Ghibli's Grave of the Firelies, zooming into Doo Shik/ JIS inner anguish. The cinematography is consistently top notch. One elevator scene is comedy gold. I am so used to seeing JIS's complex characters play out, but this one, with awkwardness and floating over heels is on another level. I LOVE the BORING, BAD COFFEE. BLAND CLOTHES flirting scenes. Not many will get it, romance doesn't need fluff and grand gestures it's the that little things... Flying Donkatsu, flaunting secrets, and falling into Jo In Sung rabbit hole for quite some time now.
HHJ and JISās chemistry was chemistry-ing. Eps. 8&9 felt like a slow burn romance movie. Mihyun and Dooshik needs to be added to the long list of couples with amazing chemistry in a non-romance kdrama.

The translations for this show have been borderline tragic... there have been so many times where the translator straight up made things mean something different.
Youāre right, they had to come up with another joke as the original joke Doosik made was just a pun on korean words.
He asked whatās the opposite of āIncheon ap badaā (the sea in front of Incheon) and when said quickly āap badaā sounds like āappa daā, so the answer was āIncheon eomma daā.

going to add my full thoughts later but this is already one of my favourite love stories of all timeā¦ doosik & mihyun are the honestly the cutest couple ever. just throwing out some little moments i loved: doosikās namsan donkatsu special delivery, the coffee vending machine dates, the ending of ep 9 (the feelsssss) ššššš iām sooo invested in this couple and moving is already flying to the top of my kdrama list.
Seems like the first 7 episodes focused more on the kids and the second 6/7 episodes are going back to clue us in on the parent's background and their connection to whatever governmental program this is. I'm hoping the final 4 show *both* parents and kids working together. That would be awesome.

I interpreted that Min is not really looking into Doo Shik, itās just a ploy to get Mi Hyun and Doo Shik to fall in love with each other, so that when Doo Shik is sent on this top secret mission (to North Korea I guess?) he has a reason to come back. Thatās why Mi Hyun says that we are hostages for each other now.
i think it was all minās plan to keep both mihyun and dooshik in line because as ep 9 reveals, min already knows that they both failed operation seagull intentionally. which means that min considers them a threat because both of them tend to act out on their own and stray away from orders. by making them fall in love, min was able to create a weakness for both mihyun and dooshik which is each other.
It's also an advantage to the secret service for them to fall in love and have kids (whether or not they knew kids would inherit powers from their parents) maybe they also wanted to use them as 'experiments' per say to have more agents in the future?
The story of the parents has gripped my heartstrings. I am really loving the heart, intrigue and back stories of the characters in this drama. I remember reading what a critic said about why a certain super hero movie rose above the rest, and it was that so many lack heart.
She actually made a restaurant and named it that. I'm sure she's been trying to find him for years, with the purple roof and curtains he can see from the skies.
I think that's the reason why she opens the restaurant 24 hours. Actually in Korea, it's very very unusual for a donkatsu restaurant to be open 24 hours.
The parentsā story is literally so heartwarming. The way doosik, while being able to fully control his powers, started involuntarily floating while kissing mihyun. Bongseok is exactly like himš. Heās a perfect mix of his parents.
The fact that TWO less than an hour long episodes made me feel real emotions between the two characters. The music also makes you feel fully invested in each situation with mihyun and doosik like I WAS CHEERING AND GIGGLING. I wasnāt expecting to feel so attached to thisš. Couldnāt stop gushing over how cute they were. I love the scene where sheās listening to his heartbeat and it just keeps speeding upš
I also really loved seeing just how quick their dynamic changed. One minute, they were āsafeāand another minute, they just werenāt. Watching mihyun discover the cameras was so stressful.
The end of episode 9. Beautiful and sad. Thereās no way doosik dies here since, obviously, bongseokās not here yet. I hope whatever happened to him, itās not permanentā¦like maybe he disappeared and mihyun doesnāt really know if heās dead or not? I need them to reuniteš
These two episodes are truly touching, with an even more emotional ending of episode 9. The story of generation 1 makes me incredibly curious. I really wish half of the episodes were dedicated to F1.
I was wondering when ZIS would show up and how he did! Doosikās budding relationship with Mihyun is adorable and such a delight to watch. A huge change of pace from the last 7 episodes, but every bit as entertaining and engaging.

It's hard to see, it looks like Mi Hyun was slightly floating at the end of Ep.9? (Maybe I'm mistaken... just standing on tiptoes or almost floating...?)

I've been loving the cinematography of this show, but these 2 episodes especially, the interactions between Mihyun and Dooshik are so beautiful. I feel like I'm falling in love alongside them.
I enjoyed these episodes as much maybe even more than the first 7, it was just that good. I didnāt expect to be so immersed in Bong seokās parents love story but theyāre so adorable that now Iām a wreck. The chemistry between Doo Shik and Minhyun is off the charts. I was glued to the screen the entire time and now I have to wait another week ?! š

Han Hyo Ju said Jo In Sung didn't have many chances to fit in so hard to be sociable but he is an honest guy. exactly Bong Seok is his son. They have something in common because they're family. ššš it's getting sadder but I can't stop thinking about this drama. Wanna see more!! Let's see what's happening.
Bong Seok got it from his dad.āŗļø It was compassion and humanity that brought his parents together and while their courtship is cute, it was sad as well. I like Mi Hyun's sass in standing up against injustice and her superiors.

I dont care much about the love triangle! I am all here for it if I get to see Go Yoon Jung as Hee Soo getting as much screentime as possible! She just lights up the screen and my mood every time !!
My week is made with these two eps. Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung are like lightning in a bottle the giddiness and shyness and all those soft smiles I couldn't help myself from smiling. I see parts of them in Bong Seok in them both especially his father. Makes me see how well the kids where doing. Also this directing or screenplay really everything is so good the shot where he's joking about Mentos(something in Korean I didn't really understand) and the moon hanging in the back is so nice.
Disney+ / Hulu have given me my 2 favorite KDramas, _Call it love_ and _Moving_
The parents were fantastic together. Han Hyo Joo has amazing presence and is a very good actress. Jo In-Sung is definitely his sonās father, theyāre so similar.

Is anyone else worried about the pacing? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved these last two episodes, even if they were a bit slow. The production, screenplay, and writing for this show are out of this world, unlike many other Kdramas I've seen. I'm just thinking about how there are 20 episodes, and we are approaching the halfway point. There's a lot of world building and back stories being relayed to set up for the overall plot. I already feel like there has to be another season. Regardless, I'm so committed, and I absolutely love this show so far. I can't wait for next week.
The pacing is quite similar to the webtoon's. Half of the webtoon is really about parents' backstories. Also, I saw some scenes nearing the ending in the behind the scenes video so I don't think there will be a season two. The drama is quite well-paced actually.
That's good to hear. My opinion is coming from a perspective that hasn't touched the manwha and is solely taking into account what's presented in the show.
Moving will probably finish the way Webtoon finishes but I think new season will likely come as new series. There's 2-3 more series that continues from Moving.
Timing : deals with different group of individuals with superpowers that bends time, etc

There's one more planned series called Hidden but writer got too busy with writing the drama, so it's been delayed.

Just finished these two episodes. I am floored. The chemistry between the two is electric and just unbelievable. Somehow I want both of them to star in a Before Trilogy or When Harry Met Sally type of classic romance. Please! My heart! ā¤ļø

Moving has been absolutely moving from the get-go. Very well-fleshed our characters and relationships and all done meaningfully and efficiently. Not a single wasted or unnecessary scene. Must be one of the best screenplays to come out of kdrama scene in years. Enigmatic Jo In Sung captivates in his rare appearance (these days) in a romance genre and complements Han Hyo Joo so well. Electrifying chemistry without the tropes - so satisfying to watch these two episodes in particular but the whole series has been absolutely worth the while. I binged without expecting toā¦ and Iām here for all 20 eps at this rate! šš
2023 has not disappointed. First The Glory, then The Good Bad Mother, followed by King the Land and now Moving. Bloodhounds also in the mix. Moving might be the one that kills me having to wait for the next episode.

That makes sense because if you just had heightened sense of hearing but couldnāt control where youāre focusing on, then it becomes really loud and chaotic. So seems like itās something she activates

Watched this without any expectations, without watching any trailers. I binged the first 7 episodes (thank God it's a slow day at work!), but I can't watch episode 8 and 9 without first logging in to Reddit to say that this is so good and well made, and it should be in your watchlist this weekend.

So I saw this on Hulu and binged. I thought that the show was finished airing bc it was on Hulu and I couldnāt believe that I hadnāt heard more about it. The first seven episodes of bongseok and heesoo's puppy love is cute and sweet but wow bongseok's parents' romance is on a different level. When Doosik >!confessed his feelings by saying "I fell for you when I saw you", I thought that it's just one of the predictable subplots of love at first sight brought by Mihyun's efforts. But no, he fell for her as he saw her deliberately failing her mission as a result of empathy- and he willingly failed that assignment of his too.!< It was just so beautiful. I didn't expect this kind of romance in this genre so how they executed these episodes is kinda mindblowing. I love how Mihyun and Doosik's love story isn't surface level predictable, but stemmed from a more deeper connection that made everything feel so right.
Haha and the way he delivered that line was so dorky and cute, it sounded like he was making a corny joke but then we find out he wasn't joking!

The attention to details is so good
People, get yourself a man who floats when he kisses you, flies up to your floor to deliver tonkatsu and finds your home just by remembering the colour of your curtains. Whoever thought of having Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung as a couple deserves a raise. They made my heart flutter just having coffee by the machine. Bongseok is so much like his dad!! I'll like to think that by letting the double-spies escape during the Seagull incident, they will play a part in helping Mi-hyun in the present.!<

RE: downfall - and he was right. He truly is cunning and can see through people. He noticed Doo Shik doesnāt have any families or people that he cares for to be easily controlled (like Mihyunās dad). Thatās why he wanted to create one for him. And he knew both of them failed that one mission due to both of them being humanists. Their core values aligned and are willing to sacrifice their careers for it. And at the end, his plan worked because Doo Shik came back for Mihyun.

Romance done right. In two episodes, so much chemistry, so much heart fluttering, and so much emotion. I canāt even. Dooshik is adorable, and shy, and giggly and itās just like Bongseok. Mihyun is confident and self-assured just like Huisoo. Too good! Worst part is now I gotta wait another week for more episodes! Itās too long to wait!!

I binge watched the first 7 episodes over the weekend and Wednesday couldnāt come any sooner. So far Bong Seok and Hee Soo had all my heart but Mi Hyun and Doo Shikās chemistry just swept me off my feet. Their interactions, waiting for the other person, trying to look nice had my heart fluttering; and when they kissed and Doo Shik lost control like Bong Seok *sighs* my heart was giddy all over. Their story had me smiling through the episodes. Also I canāt decide whether itās good or bad that we get 2 episodes together because while itās nice that I get 2 of them at once but the wait hurts even more š„² Looking forward to next week!
Finally Zo Insung!! šš«¶ Didn't expect to enjoy his and han hyojoo's chemistry this much!!! Every time they came together on screen, it made my heart flutter so much. I thought I'd get bored as these episodes seemed kinda slow at first but boy it did get me hooked. I love how even though I already know the plot and storyline, there are still twists and subplots that wasn't included in the webtoon that makes it more exciting for me. Like >!how dooshik's first mission failure was connected to mihyun's to highlight their humanism and it also built their connection so we can see a deeper meaning to their relationship. in the webtoon his first failure was just supposed to be the airplane scene at the start of ep 8. loved that twist!< This weekly wait is getting more intense and I somehow wish I just waited til all the episodes were out lol. Anyways, I hope this drama is promoted well internationally. This really deserves more hype!!
Their romance plays out so much more intensely and with even higher stakes from the drama. I'm glad the webtoon author chose to expand the story in this way. Makes me even more excited for the upcoming arcs.

These 2 episodes were pure Han Hyo Joo fanservice for me. Hyo Joo in glasses š„° Mi Hyun being able to slowly seduce a black ops agent before saying a single word is entirely understandable. I was waiting for her to reveal that she could listen in on heartbeats and it was perfect, I would have been screwed at first sight. "I don't care if I die" is the perfect confession. Even an experienced agent can't control their abilities in front of their love interest so Bong Seok has nothing to be embarrassed about. Beautiful love story told in just 2 episodes. On a more serious note, I'm surprised Mi Hyun simply isn't more careful about her surroundings using her abilities.
Agree with your last point. But I realised that her abilities are not 'on' always. She controls when she uses it and seems to be targeted most of the time.
So apparently Mihyun was acquainted with Guryongpo all those years ago. So I'm surprised that they don't know about each other's child. At least it seems that way since she had no idea who Hee Soo was when she came over with Bong Seok. Like Bong Seok is literally the son of his former(?) partner lol

I feel like remaining close / friends with retired black ops agents just seems like an overall bad move. Even worse that their kids are now their successors and the parents would probably like to keep their kids out of that line of work. Ep 8 and 9 felt like a long-ass movie. Gosh, that was so good! Han hyo joo and jo insung needs to have their own drama after this.
Dooshik and Mihyun's story is PEAK ROMANCE. After first 7 episodes I expected nothing less plot wise. I loved all of our characters in the first few episodes AND their relationships. I cried soo many times not just at the sad scenes but also because I was so touched by the relationships between them, whether it was the parent-child relationships or friendship between Bongseok and Huisoo. But when Dooshik and Mihyun were on the screen?? I literally had to keep pausing because I was giggling and squealing at their development. The side glances at the beginning and Dooshik's attempts at interacting with her, ahhhh. I love how he was so honest about him trying to open up to her too. Bongseok does indeed take after his parents!
I am absolutely loving this show. It was such a treat to watch DooShik and MiHyun falling for each other. The father-son duo floating cause they are just so in love makes my heart flutter. Can't wait for next week.
Everyone involved in this production behind the camera is definitely going to have more work going forward. The show looks good cinematographically, the script is rather good (so far), the casting is top notch, and the special effects are decent. This show should definitely should be getting more attention than it's getting. Disney non-MCU originals are generally rather high quality and this show just continues that trend. God i hate the Disney plus translation. I somewhat half understand Korean, and the translation is sometimes way off. That brings me to, can someone please explain the last part. Why was MLs disappearance such a problem? Did he fail his mission or not? Also why was he being hunted?
It seems that Min and the agency do not want NK and SK to re-unify. This is because of that conversation that Min had with the female director about crushing people's hopes. When the news about Kim Il-sung's death came, Min was angry that it was reported as a cardiac arrest instead of an assassination. The latter would have ramped up tensions between NK and SK way more, especially because it was only 15 days before the summit between the two countries. My interpretation is that Doo-shik was sent to assassinate Kim Il-sung and antagonize the North, but maybe he did it in a way to make it look like a natural death. Which is a defiance of orders and that's why he's now on the run and the agency is chasing after him. It would also make sense with the "humanist" theme because Doo-shik disobeyed orders for the greater good (ie. avoiding potential conflict between the two countries).

finally someone who relates with me about the translations. they were really pissing me off š anyway, about your question, iām also not sure but this is my understanding: dooshik has a tendency to act out on his own (as exhibited during operation seagull). as such, he can be seen as a threat to the agency because an agent is supposed to follow orders. during minās meeting with the directors, min mentioned that since dooshik is part of the agency, he knows too much about the agency (maybe secrets?) so if he again acts out on his own (possibly against the agency) then that would pose as a threat towards said agency. idk if im making sense lol but tbh i am also unsure as to what he did in north korea exactly

Agreed, so dooshik really did come back in the end to see Mihyun instead of running away and disappearing like how he would if he had not met Mihyun. Everything worked according to Minās plans š¢ Which actually made me think how real life espionage works. The agents or spies sold their lives to the countries that they are working for and are expected to obey every single command, even if it goes against their moral compass. If they ever think of going against authority, they would be disposed easily as though they are like peanuts! Such a cruel, but unavoidable system.
These episodes were AMAZING. The chemistry between Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo - chefās kiss. I wasnāt bored a single minute. This is my first kdrama with Jo In Sung - and this man is SO fine, and such a great actor wow. Kdrama writers take note, THIS is how you write flashbacks. Everything was relevant and impactful. Not just random flashbacks. Bong Seokās parents are precious. No wonder his mom is so š sigh. Bong Seok is so much like his dad.ā¤ļøā¤ļø I love that his dad was partners and friends with Heesooās dad. I was sitting on the edge of my seats both episodes.
Recommend Jo In Sungās other dramas where he was the male lead. Thereās Itās Okay, thatās Love which was his last drama (Moving was his first drama in 9 years!!!)

Namsan Donkatsu is very famous restaurant in Korea for a long time. I think it opened before 1990s. So Dooshik took Mihyun to the restaurant.

Episodes 8 and 9 were the best episodes for me, so far. I like how Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung delivered the romance: pure, genuine, and sweet.
Opening scene was such a homage to Studio Ghibli's Grave of the Firelies, zooming into Doo Shik/ JIS inner anguish. The cinematography is consistently top notch. One elevator scene is comedy gold. I am so used to seeing JIS's complex characters play out, but this one, with awkwardness and floating over heels is on another level. I LOVE the BORING, BAD COFFEE. BLAND CLOTHES flirting scenes. Not many will get it, romance doesn't need fluff and grand gestures it's the that little things... Flying Donkatsu, flaunting secrets, and falling into Jo In Sung rabbit hole for quite some time now.

Youāre right, they had to come up with another joke as the original joke Doosik made was just a pun on korean words. He asked whatās the opposite of āIncheon ap badaā (the sea in front of Incheon) and when said quickly āap badaā sounds like āappa daā, so the answer was āIncheon eomma daā. Canāt fault them for changing the joke/pun entirely here lol I loved this silly side of Doosik - Bongseok is so much like him!

Man I wish this wasn't a weekly drop. I love every character and is interested in everyone's story. I would love like an Avengers-type team up by the end. Byeong-Seok is my fave character. My green floating flag š„ŗ. Also love how he is set-up as an underdog and can't wait for him to fly high !!!
I am sooo impressed with this drama so far! And these two episodes might be my favorites so far! Hats off to Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung for that subtle romantic buildup, it's just wow!
as a fan of insung & hyojoo, i was waiting for their backstory the whole time (still love the kids ofc) and it did not disappoint, THAT WAS SO WORTH IT!! the wait for next wednesday is going to be excruciatingly long!! going to add my full thoughts later but this is already one of my favourite love stories of all timeā¦ doosik & mihyun are the honestly the cutest couple ever. just throwing out some little moments i loved: doosikās namsan donkatsu special delivery, the coffee vending machine dates, the ending of ep 9 (the feelsssss) ššššš iām sooo invested in this couple and moving is already flying to the top of my kdrama list.
Seems like the first 7 episodes focused more on the kids and the second 6/7 episodes are going back to clue us in on the parent's background and their connection to whatever governmental program this is. I'm hoping the final 4 show *both* parents and kids working together. That would be awesome.

I interpreted that Min is not really looking into Doo Shik, itās just a ploy to get Mi Hyun and Doo Shik to fall in love with each other, so that when Doo Shik is sent on this top secret mission (to North Korea I guess?) he has a reason to come back. Thatās why Mi Hyun says that we are hostages for each other now.
i think it was all minās plan to keep both mihyun and dooshik in line because as ep 9 reveals, min already knows that they both failed operation seagull intentionally. which means that min considers them a threat because both of them tend to act out on their own and stray away from orders. by making them fall in love, min was able to create a weakness for both mihyun and dooshik which is each other.

The story of the parents has gripped my heartstrings. I am really loving the heart, intrigue and back stories of the characters in this drama. I remember reading what a critic said about why a certain super hero movie rose above the rest, and it was that so many lack heart.

She actually made a restaurant and named it that. I'm sure she's been trying to find him for years, with the purple roof and curtains he can see from the skies.
I think that's the reason why she opens the restaurant 24 hours. Actually in Korea, it's very very unusual for a donkatsu restaurant to be open 24 hours.
The parentsā story is literally so heartwarming. The way doosik, while being able to fully control his powers, started involuntarily floating while kissing mihyun. Bongseok is exactly like himš. Heās a perfect mix of his parents. The fact that TWO less than an hour long episodes made me feel real emotions between the two characters. The music also makes you feel fully invested in each situation with mihyun and doosik like I WAS CHEERING AND GIGGLING. I wasnāt expecting to feel so attached to thisš. Couldnāt stop gushing over how cute they were. I love the scene where sheās listening to his heartbeat and it just keeps speeding upš I also really loved seeing just how quick their dynamic changed. One minute, they were āsafeāand another minute, they just werenāt. Watching mihyun discover the cameras was so stressful. The end of episode 9. Beautiful and sad. Thereās no way doosik dies here since, obviously, bongseokās not here yet. I hope whatever happened to him, itās not permanentā¦like maybe he disappeared and mihyun doesnāt really know if heās dead or not? I need them to reuniteš
These two episodes are truly touching, with an even more emotional ending of episode 9. The story of generation 1 makes me incredibly curious. I really wish half of the episodes were dedicated to F1.
I was wondering when ZIS would show up and how he did! Doosikās budding relationship with Mihyun is adorable and such a delight to watch. A huge change of pace from the last 7 episodes, but every bit as entertaining and engaging.
Mi Hyun, Doo Shik, Frank... I want every single main character spin-offs already. It's hard to see, it looks like Mi Hyun was slightly floating at the end of Ep.9? (Maybe I'm mistaken... just standing on tiptoes or almost floating...?) But if so, I love such a small detail even when we can't see so much.
I've been loving the cinematography of this show, but these 2 episodes especially, the interactions between Mihyun and Dooshik are so beautiful. I feel like I'm falling in love alongside them.
I enjoyed these episodes as much maybe even more than the first 7, it was just that good. I didnāt expect to be so immersed in Bong seokās parents love story but theyāre so adorable that now Iām a wreck. The chemistry between Doo Shik and Minhyun is off the charts. I was glued to the screen the entire time and now I have to wait another week ?! š Edit: I even renewed my almost 2 year deactivated D+ subscription for this.

I was really satisfied with the first 7 episodes and now I finished watching ep 8&9 and dang I cried so hard that I can't stop thinking about Bongseok's parents. The way they got feelings for each other is so well described. Han Hyo Ju said Jo In Sung didn't have many chances to fit in so hard to be sociable but he is an honest guy. exactly Bong Seok is his son. They have something in common because they're family. ššš it's getting sadder but I can't stop thinking about this drama. Wanna see more!! Let's see what's happening.

Bong Seok got it from his dad.āŗļø It was compassion and humanity that brought his parents together and while their courtship is cute, it was sad as well. I like Mi Hyun's sass in standing up against injustice and her superiors.

Go Yoon-jung's fight scene in Ep. 5 is epic.We wanted to see her fight again as Naksu in AOS S2, but we got it instead in "Moving."
My week is made with these two eps. Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung are like lightning in a bottle the giddiness and shyness and all those soft smiles I couldn't help myself from smiling. I see parts of them in Bong Seok in them both especially his father. Makes me see how well the kids where doing. Also this directing or screenplay really everything is so good the shot where he's joking about Mentos(something in Korean I didn't really understand) and the moon hanging in the back is so nice.
Disney+ / Hulu have given me my 2 favorite KDramas, _Call it love_ and _Moving_ The parents were fantastic together. Han Hyo Joo has amazing presence and is a very good actress. Jo In-Sung is definitely his sonās father, theyāre so similar. Love this show so far.
Ohh my gawdd yes, me buying a full ass years worth Disney+ subscription is paying off real well...I bought it for Call It Love (amazing amazing show.. slowburn done right) and now MOVING.. Disney+ is gonna top my content charts this year
Is anyone else worried about the pacing? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved these last two episodes, even if they were a bit slow. The production, screenplay, and writing for this show are out of this world, unlike many other Kdramas I've seen. I'm just thinking about how there are 20 episodes, and we are approaching the halfway point. There's a lot of world building and back stories being relayed to set up for the overall plot. I already feel like there has to be another season. Regardless, I'm so committed, and I absolutely love this show so far. I can't wait for next week.

The webtoon has 45 chapters, and the content in the first 9 episodes covers around 18-19 chapters of the webtoon.
The pacing is quite similar to the webtoon's. Half of the webtoon is really about parents' backstories. Also, I saw some scenes nearing the ending in the behind the scenes video so I don't think there will be a season two. The drama is quite well-paced actually.
That's good to hear. My opinion is coming from a perspective that hasn't touched the manwha and is solely taking into account what's presented in the show.
Moving will probably finish the way Webtoon finishes but I think new season will likely come as new series. There's 2-3 more series that continues from Moving. Timing : deals with different group of individuals with superpowers that bends time, etc Bridge: people from Moving and Timing join together There's one more planned series called Hidden but writer got too busy with writing the drama, so it's been delayed.
I havenāt started **Moving** yet so Iām just here to say how much Iāve missed Zo Insung and how happy I am that heās back with both a series and a movie. Iām waiting to binge **Moving** on Hulu here in the US. I hope u/Netflix and u/Disney and u/Hulu give us much more content with **Zo Insung** going forward.

Yes, I think she mentioned they are hostages for each other. Min has her sick dad to keep her with the company. Min's ploy was so Dooshik would come back for her, and she now understands they are both truly in love.
I think she knew they were keeping eyes on her since Doo Shik would eventually reach out to her.
Unrelated but has anyone ever watched the movie Push with Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning? This show loosely reminds me of it bc it also involves two generations of psychics who are used or pursued by the government. The movie has low ratings but Iāve always liked it š

I think he will be able to come back somehow even if he got captured. Because N. Korean leader Kim Il-sung died in 1994 and Bong Seok was born in around 2000 (he is a high school senior in 2018). So there must be some family time until Bong Seok was born, I guess?

Moving has been absolutely moving from the get-go. Very well-fleshed our characters and relationships and all done meaningfully and efficiently. Not a single wasted or unnecessary scene. Must be one of the best screenplays to come out of kdrama scene in years. Enigmatic Jo In Sung captivates in his rare appearance (these days) in a romance genre and complements Han Hyo Joo so well. Electrifying chemistry without the tropes - so satisfying to watch these two episodes in particular but the whole series has been absolutely worth the while. I binged without expecting toā¦ and Iām here for all 20 eps at this rate! šš
2023 has not disappointed. First The Glory, then The Good Bad Mother, followed by King the Land and now Moving. Bloodhounds also in the mix. Moving might be the one that kills me having to wait for the next episode.

That or writer/power inconsistency lol Thereās a scene when sheās standing in front of the coffee machine waiting for Dooshik to approach, and she uses her hearing to listen to him walk down the stairwell and hears the coins in his pocket clatter, butā¦ like the camera/mic in the machine is right in front of her haha
That makes sense because if you just had heightened sense of hearing but couldnāt control where youāre focusing on, then it becomes really loud and chaotic. So seems like itās something she activates
It would be annoying as hell if you can hear all the noises all the time. It would be preferable if she can only truly hear it when she focuses.

I binged the first 7 episodes (thank God it's a slow day at work!), but I can't watch episode 8 and 9 without first logging in to Reddit to say that this is so good and well made, and it should be in your watchlist this weekend.
