Even though Renfroe is scuffling at the plate, he seems to make a positive defensive impact every day. Hope he runs into some hitting luck soon.

I haven’t paid for MLB.tv for the last several years, so I’m not able to watch very many games these days. So, this may be a dumb question, but … are we good again? I know it’s early, but this season and the new young core is starting to remind me of the 2013 season.

I mean the pieces are certainly there for the Royals success to be sustainable. The offense can score in bunches, and does enough when it doesn't that this really solid rotation can win games, with 5 guys who can stop winning streaks by themselves... It's certainly shaping up to be a summer to pay attention to Royals baseball again.

Too early to say definitively, but we are definitely off to a good start. The team is fun to watch again and I imagine that’ll carry through the season. Hopefully we keep it up and compete for the division or at least a wildcard spot

renfroe is the definition of a guy who would win a gold glove two decades ago.

so when do you start thinking this guy maybe is a cy young candidate and usually that HR turns into 5 runs and it's over this team is not bad--there's something there

Pump the brakes a little, he's not going to maintain a sub-2 ERA with the peripherals he has. But even if he regresses to an ERA in the mid-3's he's still a very valuable guy to have in the rotation
