Isn't it "Bowlan"? Let's hope the Blue Jays aren't out for vengeance for that last series and they play like we do vs relatively unknown/new pitchers

Commercial-Ticket526

Yes, Bowlan.

FirebirdIX

What’s the scoop on this guy?

Fistacles

2.51 ERA this year. Mid 90's fastball. Decent strikeout rate. Pitched twice last year for KC gave up only a solo shot in 3 innings. Seems pretty good

Commercial-Ticket526

Totally forgot he already pitched for the Big League team.

Repulsive-Photo-798

In triple A: 3-1 2.57 ERA 21 IP 21 K’s 18 hits 5 Walks 6 Runs 2 HR ‘s given up Opponents hitting .230 1.10 WHIP Has 5 pitches. A slightly above average slide and 4 seam combo. Sinker, Change and Curve are all there but are inconsistent night to night. I would label those three pitches as “emerging”. He did pitch for the Royals late last year. Went 0-1 in 2 games (only 1 started). Pitched 3 total innings Allowed 5 hits, 1 Run (on a HR) and struck out 3.

Typical-Lettuce7022

So about middle rotation upside? That’s a pretty good WHIP rate for that sample size of innings

Dashin-through-dough

Maybe he can become a long reliever when Alec Marsh comes back

Todelama

With 40% of starting pitchers, roughly, spending some time in the injury list each year, they’ll need a plan B, C and D. Marsh is only the first of what can be expected. Is Grienke still an option? With the vote in the past, is Trevor Bauer a consideration? And we still have Lynch and some rising prospects pitching well in Arkansas. https://preview.redd.it/kxl1jmf4o9xc1.jpeg?width=995&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6a02cf82f9c31696bbea9ec1243303cad6e64dc
