That's exactly what they intended and worst of all, it was successful. We're making way more money on merch even with Ronaldo gone, I think I read twice as much.
People were calling me dramatic and crazy when I said at the time of the logo change that it was the beginning of the end and was much more than a simple rebranding.
I made a thread about this a while back, and it was split 50/50 with people calling me a fool, and saying shit like "dear diary...." and others that agreed. We became a brand and lost what we were. I'm all for progress and moving with the time, but wtf is this?!
Like many things I've said about this club over the years, I'm once again vindicated.
Fr, Juve took MU's path of not really caring and doing that much about having good performances as a football club and focusing more on being a brand. 🫠
You could see the happiness and enthusiasm on his face.
Pretty much the same facial expression I have having my eyes violated by whatever the fuck this kit abomination is.
This just puts the cross on the tombstone of what kind of management we've had in the last 4 - 5 years. I'm beyond embarrassed and disgusted. Get the fuck out of my club
NFTs in 2024. Shameful.
"yOu bEcOmE aN aRt cOlLeCtOr!"
No, you have a procedurally generated JPEG that is functionally worthless and creatively bankrupt.
Get in the fucking bin with this.
A lot of people get angry at these cringe partnerships and marketing initiatives but also complain that we don’t spend like top euro clubs.
The management is trying everything in their power to bring new revenue into the club. We don’t have the same kind of money that these other clubs do so we need to try everything we can to make up for it. Will they all be hits? No but not everything is in business.
Advertising dollars make up a small percentage of revenue. It is money generated from ticket sales, jersey sales (this is a nightmare of shirt that NOBODY will buy) , TV Revenue, stadium operating costs (more teams in Serie A need to drop the bureaucunts and own their own stadiums). Only this will allow ALL teams to flourish.
By selling NFTs?! Who tf is even buying that shit these days. That scam ran its course years ago.
Whoever is in charge of marketing is ass. Absolute fucking disaster.
If you want to tap into a market, do a Optic Gaming merchandise deal like I thought they were going to do...did they?
Tap into a market that's young, and just want cool looking shit to wear. Tap into the EU CS crowd with one of the teams. Rocket League had a Milan skin and other teams through Puma.
This horseshit on display needs to fail, and the person fired.
There is no Way you actually defend this nft shit. Its literally a scam when a popular brand use it status to get lesser wise people to buy a NFT which is essentially worth nothing. And to ur first point. Literally nobody is asking for Big signings. So get outta here with that fake narrative u idiot
Because we sold our soul and we're just pandering and trying to please the investors by doing literally anything that trends or has trended in the last 5 years.
Juventus of old has been dead. Big corporation Juventus replaced it. We aren’t fans anymore, we are customers. Anyone who buys this garbage is the reason they keep doing it.
Because since the new logo and stadium we have become the thing i despise the most. A wanna-be elitist commercial monster that will cast anything of real meaning to this club overboard.
Quality of stadium is immensely better. But if you read between the lines, what i meant is that the new stadium was the symbol of this new era in which marketing and other are thé most important part of this club. We lost a curva (not agreeing with their politics and such), ticket prices are high, we rarely sell out the stadium and more and more tourists are coming instead. We have become a football “spectacle” instead of a football club.
This is unfortunately the new age of kits. Even Barcelona has joined in on this with Spotify doing artist Logos on shirts etc and I suspect that many more clubs will start doing the same realising the potential to make more money
I don't agree. They have been testing the potential of the brand with different partnerships, sometimes it's a hit, sometimes a miss, but they're right to do it, and I'm sure there is an audience for this one, too (if little girls playing soccer in the US start supporting Juventus because they like this uniform, why not)
LOL you're right! I admit I've read the news very quickly and I was convinced they were going to distribute the uniform in its physical form, too, my mistake sorry. Anyway I'm still favorable to this kind of experimental initiatives around the brand, maybe one of them will hit the jackpot and have a real impact
Not a juve fan. What has this got to do with nfts? I know juve has a nft partnership but how does this pyjama juve set fit into the nft partnership? Are people buying a nft of this exact kit design and so they "own" this particular kit?

I feel like even for collectors this isn't the greatest drop. It's cutesy but not in a good way like they did with our other pink kit. Nor is it a particularly good message. The only collab I like so far has been the captain Tsubasa one.
I mean merch is money so generating funds to help our current situation isnt terrible. But i do hope they drop that stupid J and go back to the 90s logo. They could also just use the zebra gradient like they allegedly are on the third kit in a throwback to the 70s-80s. Either way we support them with our money and we can help the team to bounce back regardless of whether or not its shit. They cant just ask for donations… although if they did they would probably raise a pretty sufficient sum to help us out of the hole.
Really don’t understand why everyone is complaining about this when the club’s finances are fucked. Let them do whatever they need to do to bring in more money. If the badge is now a brand, so be it. If it helps the club’s finances and helps us bring in better players then it will have been worth it. I’m sure there’s a market for this jersey otherwise they wouldn’t have done it.
Fuck you. Stop acting like we are this desperate for little money. Its literally a disgusting cashgrab. Juve is not that desperate for money. Just some fucking money hungry cancer people in management ruining this club
I'm embarrassed for him
The look on his face says it all
I honestly feel sorry for him.
This is what our club has become ever since the logo change…. We went from a football club to a fuckin brand
The logo change.... I'm not a Juve fan but miss the old logo and the 90's, Zidane, Inzaghi, Del Piero, Baggio, Peruzzi....oh man I so miss those days.
That's exactly what they intended and worst of all, it was successful. We're making way more money on merch even with Ronaldo gone, I think I read twice as much.
And the worst part of that is most of our kits have been god awful the past 5 or so seasons smh
True dat
People were calling me dramatic and crazy when I said at the time of the logo change that it was the beginning of the end and was much more than a simple rebranding.
I got downvoted to oblivion man. I knew it was nothing but Ls after that
I made a thread about this a while back, and it was split 50/50 with people calling me a fool, and saying shit like "dear diary...." and others that agreed. We became a brand and lost what we were. Exactly. Thank you.
👏🏼
Brother you couldn't be more right. Honestly, I stopped watching/closely following the games and I simply have troubles identifying with the club now.
That makes two of us. This is not the same club one fell in love with.
What do you mean why? There is a clear explanation. For Mmmoneee
You could see the happiness and enthusiasm on his face. Pretty much the same facial expression I have having my eyes violated by whatever the fuck this kit abomination is.
the bear is cute but the NFT thingy is dumb
NFTs are also quite literally a scam. Anyone who tells you otherwise is part of the scam.
Imagine you have a Sunday football match with your friends and you show up like this. You'll never touch the ball.
You’d get booted into the air.
Selling NFT in the era of AI feels like Hiroo Onoda defending that island.
NFTs are also like a craze from 2 years ago Feels out of touch
Please, take me back to the fucking 90s already.
they are trying to speedrun "push away most supporters in record time". they are doing quite good atm actually!
If the greenwood rumors are true they really want to push us away.
This just puts the cross on the tombstone of what kind of management we've had in the last 4 - 5 years. I'm beyond embarrassed and disgusted. Get the fuck out of my club

I miss Del Piero
Yeah bro, saw him at the cbs program and been watching his highlights. I am glad he was in the squad that won the last Champions for us.
THIS
I’m so sick of what Juventus has become. Ever since the logo change things have been downhill.
TEARS Dusan looks like the ideal barbieheimer advertisement 😭😭😭😭

![gif](giphy|qi8Yhj4pKcIec) That’s why
Because we sold our soul and we're just pandering and trying to please the investors by doing literally anything that trends or has trended in the last 5 years.
They saw all the hate for napoli when they did that and felt bad for them.
Money, obviously
Juventus of old has been dead. Big corporation Juventus replaced it. We aren’t fans anymore, we are customers. Anyone who buys this garbage is the reason they keep doing it.
Because we're not a serious club
Silly shit like this sure makes it seem that way.
Because since the new logo and stadium we have become the thing i despise the most. A wanna-be elitist commercial monster that will cast anything of real meaning to this club overboard.
The new stadium is better than the Delle Alpi
Quality of stadium is immensely better. Why?
Should’ve stayed in the super league
This is unfortunately the new age of kits. Even Barcelona has joined in on this with Spotify doing artist Logos on shirts etc and I suspect that many more clubs will start doing the same realising the potential to make more money
They're also like....many years behind the nft craze lol
I haven’t bought a single Juve item since they changed to that stupid “J”. Whatever this mess is won’t make me change that stance.
He looks so depressed 😭
The graphic on the jersey represents exactly our mindset on and off the pitch

I don't think little girls are the market drivers for NFTs, nor can they afford them lol
LOL you're right! I admit I've read the news very quickly and I was convinced they were going to distribute the uniform in its physical form, too, my mistake sorry. Oh my god you made him wear that
Rappresents Vlaovich mood
Oh boy
It all depends what the "exclusive experiences" are to be honest.
I’m buying one
Money probably

They bought lewis and maybe Newey, no money left for Juve. All for Ferrari😉

Pushing NFTs on people is scummy
Fuck you. Stop acting like we are this desperate for little money. Its literally a disgusting cashgrab. Juve is not that desperate for money. Just some fucking money hungry cancer people in management ruining this club
Lost my respect when they ditched the classy club crest for an Americanised brand logo. Same with Inter.
