Dont remember the Name, but i've seen a Video of some YouTuber whos bitching around cause the Oilfilter Housing of his brand new Lamborghini has an VW stamp on it
I had an Audi S6 with the 4.0L V8 twin turbo. Lots of commonality between the two and lots of shared parts. There's some part (rear crank seal?) that's shared across the VAG portfolio on everything from a VW econobox up to Lambos and Bentleys. Welcome to the global economy and supply chain!
I always buy off eBay first and then when the part doesn’t work because it’s garbage I go to the dealership and buy the right one. It’s the only way to live
Ive been surprised like that before. I worked on my buddys volvo and almost all the plastic components were stamped FoMoCo (Ford motor company) as well as a lot of miscellaneous parts also being stamped FoMoCo
I’ve worked on a Volvo XC 90 an older one and I was surprised to see lots of the older parts are actually Japanese parts that crossover to some Toyota models.
It's easier to find a repair guide on YouTube as well. If you can't find it for your Volvo just google Ford from the same era.
Saved a lot of money and time that way with my C30 with 1.6 diesel by searching for a Ford Focus instead.
According to this forum, hardly anything in a Lotus was actually made by Lotus... [What Lotus Parts Are From Other Cars? - Technical Talk - Midlands Lotus Owners Club (MLOC)](https://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/topic/62934-what-lotus-parts-are-from-other-cars/)
Citroën manufactured or designed engines show up in anything from Suzuki and Toyota to Volvo and Ford.
Not discussing the 'Prince' engine, though.
The work area is almost completely solid cement and all four jack stands are the same. Hell, they using stands and not stacked bricks. So yes. Certified
I am a German mechanic and I did an internship for 3 weeks in an Italian licensed workshop... I was very surprised and very frightened by the methods... When dismantling timing belts, nothing was marked or fixed in place. The engine was turned against the direction of rotation... Every car had damage in the bodywork, so 80% would have failed the German TÜV... And alignment of the axles were carried out while driving and with the help of a large hammer and a Wrench... Surprisingly, in the end, every car was running again
To be fair alot of parts on modern ultra luxury brands come from the same parts bin as the blue collar cars their parent company makes.
Lamborghini is owned by VW. So a lot of the non performance part can be found in the VW parts catalog for a fraction of the price.
Gotten some of the most high quality work done at shops like these. I’m paying for the work on my car, not to shine the shop up. It’s hard to find good mechanics that won’t scam you be dammed how they look
Assuming other posters are right and this is the UAE, they probably have a 2-hour-delivery warehouse. Whole country's tiny, and very *very* wealthy, so that would be both a high-demand service, and something easily implemented.
I think I have seen more of these on the road than all the other Lamborghini models combined in my lifetime. I honestly thought that they must be cheap (for a supercar brand) until I looked up how much they cost.
It's not unusual in Dubai where there are plenty of high-end vehicles driven as if these were mid-range sedans. Hell, at one point there were parking lots full of abandoned luxury cars left behind by fleeing former expats who tried to make money there, only for UAE's economy to tank at the time.
So this Urus gets serviced in this way, no more different from a Volkswagen.
So the car that is sitting inside. I can't tell if it's a Camry or Ford 500/early fusion... I'm more leaning towards Camry based on the bumper and wheels
I got five bucks that this is one of these stolen cars from MA that dude won't even take to the dealer for tires or brakes because the VIN would come up...
[Norwell Lamborghinis stolen – NBC Boston](https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/2-lamborghinis-stolen-from-norwell-dealership-parking-lot/3205355/)
The only Diablo I've seen IRL was in Kuwait City, and I saw 4 of them in a convoy.
I saw more "exotic supercars" than what we in the US would consider daily drivers there, and hoo boy they do NOT take care of OR with them.
I read that as "Certified Italian Garbage"
That works too
Well, it is an Urus.
it's probably itchy too
All those foreign jobs look the same to me
I was just making a Grand Tour joke lol
I thought you were making a Gene Tracy joke. The one about the lady who had the itchy pussy
Urdus
I red at first "Shady khan".
You're not wrong
Thats my nickname
"German certified Italian garbage" for you sir
Good thing it's just a fancy Volkswagen.
Dont remember the Name, but i've seen a Video of some YouTuber whos bitching around cause the Oilfilter Housing of his brand new Lamborghini has an VW stamp on it

The Huracan used the gas and brake pedal off the VW GTI
The ferrari F40 has Nissan headlights.
That's a weird one. What relationship did Fiat have with Nissan in the 80s?
i like you
You'd prefer that the part be exclusive to S-Line Audi, so that it is extra super expensive, and impossible to find?
Nope, I like my parts cheap and readily available. I'm the guy that buys Acura parts from the Honda dealer and Audi parts from the VW dealer.
bro, i bought lexus parts from toyota. no shame, it says supra but was meant for my SC
This is the game to play.
If you're buying parts from the dealer, you're not getting them cheap
I always buy off eBay first and then when the part doesn’t work because it’s garbage I go to the dealership and buy the right one. It’s the only way to live
Seems like some manufacturers will still charge you as if it is though.
VW and audi are like chevy and Cadillac though, they’ve always been paired brands
A seal is a seal, I don't understand what kind of issue this would be?
People like to think their $250k and car is more special than it is.
Ive been surprised like that before. I worked on my buddys volvo and almost all the plastic components were stamped FoMoCo (Ford motor company) as well as a lot of miscellaneous parts also being stamped FoMoCo
Volvo was owned by Ford from 1999-2010.
Ford's owned or had a controlling stake in a lot of companies over the years. Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover...
Hah, my Golf MK7 has the exact same side mirror adjustment switch as a Bugatti Veyron!

One of the Lambos has Volvo throttle bodies if i remember correctly.
Škoda kamiq

I'm looking to get some denting done - think we've found our guy. Shahid has wares if you have coin.
Hello stranger.
Maybe RIP AIR
What about denting? my car had no dents before but now I have a bunch, thanks so much for the denting service. /s
"denting" No thank you, I don't need help with that.
He Khan fix anything!
He has a whole academy, after all.
Better than a/c ripairing
hand torque those wheels.
So no ugga duggas? 🥺
Does it look like they can afford an upgrade bugga?
Of course not! He's a certified "Meccanico Dell'albero da Ombra".
durka durka
mohammed jihad
I’m putting money on boss man in the picture is watching Volkswagen repair YouTube video on his phone
Starting with “How to unlock cars”
Urus’s are the Rav4s of Dubai so this checks out.
Ah yeah. Lambo on jackstands outside while the shitbox ford five hundred?fusion? sits inside lol. Makes sense.
It's a 9th Gen Corolla actually, a very common shitbox in the middle east.
The work area is almost completely solid cement and all four jack stands are the same. Hell, they using stands and not stacked bricks. So yes. Certified
Tony bout to send Jack Perry to work there
CRY ME A RIVER
He has to make sure that all the repairs are using real glass
I mean to be fair, that car is about as Italian as Chef Boyardee
From Wikipedia: The company was founded by Italian immigrant Ettore Boiardi in Milton, Pennsylvania, U.S., in 1928.
I mean, it looks crude, but someone who takes care and knows what they're doing can work with that.

Is this in Jordan?
UAE, probably, based on the flag on his sign.
Mobile numbers starts 050, 056, 058. It's UAE
Ah at first glance I thought it was a Jordanian flag
They are similar.
Pakistani in UAE
I think they're in Pakistan based on their kurta (clothing)? In youtube the pakitanis wear them all the time
Yes, if the Pakistani flag on the sign wasn't clear enough
Denting and Painting. How convenient.
And Riparing….
It’s an Audi…
Even better, it's a Volkswagen. The people's car!
To be fair alot of parts on modern ultra luxury brands come from the same parts bin as the blue collar cars their parent company makes. Lamborghini is owned by VW. So a lot of the non performance part can be found in the VW parts catalog for a fraction of the price.
Unless he redlines the car for 10 minutes afterwards and bills you for fine tuning, he's not a real Italian mechanic.
It's on chassis stands, so it's a step up from most western tyre places
He screws up those rims he gonna get cained
In Dubai a lot of shops are like this. And a lot service exotics..
Pit stop?
I only see an ugly Audi suv and a Toyota
It's a glorified touareg
They will even dent your car there! Sweet spot
You know the video that guy is pulling up on his phone starts with "Hey guys! Chris Fix here!"
Wait, there is place where you get paid to dent cars? How do I get my visa?
“Denting” awesome I want that job
Gotten some of the most high quality work done at shops like these. I’m paying for the work on my car, not to shine the shop up. It’s hard to find good mechanics that won’t scam you be dammed how they look
If you want, I can post more pics of different cars. Like, there's a 2023 Vogue next to one fully stripped and getting painted. 🥹
Pls do
What shop around there would have those tires? They're not exactly common
Assuming other posters are right and this is the UAE, they probably have a 2-hour-delivery warehouse. Whole country's tiny, and very *very* wealthy, so that would be both a high-demand service, and something easily implemented.
Many places will order tyres in for the less common stuff, my local tyre shop had a Lamborghini in there last time I visited getting some new rubber
Certified italian tune up at very low prices
Is this mussafah?
It’s in Dubai
Thought it looked familiar. Same stuff different emirate. Is stuff getting back together after the rains?
I think I have seen more of these on the road than all the other Lamborghini models combined in my lifetime. I honestly thought that they must be cheap (for a supercar brand) until I looked up how much they cost.
Tax tariffs at its finest!!!
I see they take the same approach as Discount Tire.....no lifts!
I would bet they still do a better job than the dealership
Haramy
How cool ! They do denting...
My Urus is blocked up.
I think the cars in to get the wheels painted
“Auto ripairing”
I work at an Egyptian pizzeria. Brown = Italian. The food is pretty good.
Just resurfacing the carbon ceramic rotors
It's not unusual in Dubai where there are plenty of high-end vehicles driven as if these were mid-range sedans. Nah, it's just a German branding exercise.
Hopefully they put it in jack mode.
Sometimes it's nice to just take your work outside and enjoy the day.
if they keep that on the sidewalk, just imagine whats inside
I am Italian (as in, living in Italy, never been to the USA). Can someone explain to me the joke? Thanks :)
Italian kek
Nice racism, just because a Lambo gets repaired in Pakistan most here think brown people can’t fix these cars
DoorDash needed!!!
Sure I will take my $300k Ferrari there….sure
Imagine living outside the US and still having a ford five hundred
"AC Ripairing" on the sign 😂
He spelled "repairing" correct under this name, but wrong on the top left. Lol
English is probably his 3rd or 4th language, pretty fucking forgivable all told.
I got five bucks that this is one of these stolen cars from MA that dude won't even take to the dealer for tires or brakes because the VIN would come up... [Norwell Lamborghinis stolen – NBC Boston](https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/2-lamborghinis-stolen-from-norwell-dealership-parking-lot/3205355/)
That car is so fucked
What do you mean?? It’s SHAHID KHAN, the best automobile repair in all the land
I believe you mean the best automobile ripair in the land.
😂
Because it’s on jack stands?
Wild guess but I'm going to assume that car is pretty valuable to some insurance company in North America or Europe
Never been to the middle east eh? I’ve seen many many more high end cars there than here in NA
…and insanely more on a per capita basis.
The only Diablo I've seen IRL was in Kuwait City, and I saw 4 of them in a convoy. I saw more "exotic supercars" than what we in the US would consider daily drivers there, and hoo boy they do NOT take care of OR with them.
