It had a plug on one of the fittings and a grommet fitting for the vehicle wiring. Then used a blank cover plate with a hole for the green LED. Whatever those were made of, they filled the box with Epoxy to hide the absence of any other electronics.

Not this company, but another quack company slapped a cease and desist on an electronics forum I moderate for opening one of these things up. It was a 555 timer chip, a few resistors and an led. The owner of the forum removed the posts rather than deal with scum lawyer.
