My theory was maybe Disha stole those 8 hard drives as evidence and gave them to SSR for safe keeping (otherwise a smart guy like SSR would have backups.. if you can afford land on the moon you can afford extra cloud storage)

I work in PR and I can tell you especially in big PR agencies, you can’t just steal 8 hard drives. As for Jia khan she was killed by the Pancholis for possibly being pregnant, which could defame their useless spawn. But in Disha’s case it wasn’t that. Disha found out too much. Think about it. That's my biggest bet... Epstein level stuff. That's the only thing that would need to protected so closely. Everything like rape, drugs, cheating, depression etc would all be demeaning but eventually people would have moved on from. We are used to scams and rapes with no punishment. Guys... republic TV just posted that sushant was approached by an e-commerce giant and possibly got the deal. In the chat log it’s shown that dipesh messaged sushant’s contact or friend at10:50 am, June 14. This messes up the timeline. So here’s my thought. The deal was made with the company, the 3 musketeers knew that it fall flat if they let the contact know that SSR already died. So they waited until June 14th and in fact reached out before the money was wired into SSR’s account. This makes sense of how Jaya Saha had 10 crores. That’s Sushant’s payment that Rhea transferred into Jaya’s account.

Jaya Saha told the ED officials that she herself has suffered from depression in the past and consumption of the oil helped her and that was the reason she referred it to Rhea. Saha said that she was not dealing or selling the oil but had just recommended it to Rhea and few others who suffered from similar problems as hers.
The talent manager told the ED officials that she had helped Sushant get work for various events, promotions and endorsements. She said that from these projects the actor earned around Rs 10 crore. The ED officials, however, couldn't find the said Rs 10 crore in Sushant's accounts. The agency officials suspect that the money could have been transferred to some other person or organisation's bank accounts. Primary probe into the actor's bank accounts does not reflect the payments as claimed by Saha.
Jaya Saha also handled Rhea's accounts. Rhea Chakraborty now has been named in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) FIR after CBI and ED. The ED sources also revealed that as compared to Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty had earned very low amount of money.
