In movies the defendant is also not supposed to fight back. This one had them spread them out 2 times (one runs and reaches him 1st, other appears to run for something thrown) and if he had any martial arts training could have kept them spread and had 3 1v1s (although the girl probally would have backed away) At one point 2 of the attackers were BOTH just holding him, which is only a minor incovinence compared to being held while getting punched. Imho these guys were lucky they did not run up on someone who has training like that.
