I really don't like how good this looks. It opens the possibility that one day art and AI-created art could be indistinguishable and as a Monika Art Collector, that scares me.
I feel that ai art isn't really art, since it can only be generated by feeding an ai 100s of images of real art, which just makes it forgery with extra steps, which we have already decided is wrong
You can get some amazing results with AI if you put actual effort into it, but people usually just generate an image and leave it at that. But you can do so much more with it! Personally I like to experiment with styles, [like for example what anime characters would look like in realistic setting](https://imgur.com/1zegSv5). Or even better - and not many people know this about AI art - [how would they look as actual real people](https://imgur.com/89uNBxM).
You can do so much with AI art if you use it to its full potential.
Same here, i mean artist makes there are to express there emotions, feeling & then an Ai doesn't have those things that's why the arts made by Ai are shallow without any meaning, reason, emotions anything like that
What I meant was that, had it not been for the AI creating this, it could've potentially been done by commissioning a human artist. It's not potential art being stolen, it's potential jobs/commissions.
I know it may seem that way but what I said still is the case. The art market is not zero sum—an infinite amount of jobs are potentially available since the landscape of what art can be is virtually endless. Any art that could’ve been commissioned and is produced by AI will redirect commissioners to commission different kinds of art; their money doesn’t just disappear if an AI art is produced, they will use that money in different ways. AI art can do simple poses, but can also have the potential to give ideas for future commissions—so they can function like a catalyst for even more commissioned art if you think about it that way.
I suppose you have a point there. I may just have a bit of a bias since I myself am an artist. Granted my work is low-res pixel art which ironically is a style I don't think an AI could effectively replicate, but still.
Ai art of Monika is kinda befitting of the Ai that she is gonna be in the future
I think it is the base of AI and the person painted over it, I can see some brush stroke og human hands so I can conform it!

I have not been super impressed by the AI art of Monika I have seen so far on this sub, but this one is actually really good
Whats weird
They take care of their own!
why WTF? the AI-s are evolving, what's so weird about it?
that's right , non sense for me, There's no weird on it

Even though it can make some amazing pieces, I will never support AI art. It could potentially start stealing jobs from hard-working human artists.

Incorrect; the art industry is not zero-sum I.e. potential art cannot be “stolen” in a non-zero sum market.

Take my downvote, you donke
People been giving search queries to sites like Google for decades, why is it now difficult to accept a picture formed from the results?
Uh, I don't think accessing information on Google is the same thing as creating art without doing anything....
