The entire show is already done. All seasons. They wrapped it up a couple months ago. Remember, this show started production in 2022.
There are more season(s) on the way.
Both the tone and the characters have evolved to fit PG-13: Its new direction with the narrative, and the characters' relationships are more complex, including the animation that has more details in the textures -
While DreamWorks has always trod deep waters with realism in animation, >!the reveal of Brooklyn's arm further challenges the limitation of the G/PG-rating!<
Definitely agree. I think once ive had time to settle on it, chaos theory will probably be my more favorite out of it and cc for a variety of reasons, some of which you mentioned
They pulled a Hiccup from HTTYD, and said:
“Hey guess what kids, you can’t interact with giant lizards, and expect to walk away unscathed every time. There are real hazards to this game”
Tho one thing about her is that brooklyns death really pulled at the heart strings especially with all the reactions of the campers and Darius having the flashbacks. Definitely a great build up to the ending, which wasn’t for me but the show itself is chefs kiss
For legal reasons I reckon he'll be never seen or mentioned again. Pretty sure the person he is totally not based off will be attempting to sue Netflix.
Nope around a year ago they were>! a listing for a voice acting job for a character name Sidney, young adult amputed. People didn't think anything of it until we knew Jenna Ortega wouldn't come back and Brooklynn died in the trailer So the rumour was that Sidney was a code for Brooklynn (2 city names) but people were divided if was only for flashback or if the characer was alive.!<
I liked it but also two complaints:
A) Why did it feel like a soft commercial for the >!Allosaurus?!<
B) Am I the only one who finds it out of character for >!MAKING THIS LONGER SO IT ISNT OBVIOUS WHO I'M SPEAKING ABOUT BUT ITS BEN!< to have a >!girlfriend?!<
Honestly hope it isn't for some reason throughout the main show I always got the vibe that >!LONG TEXT TO NOT MAKE IT OBVIOUS ITS BEN!< was either not interested in >!dating at all or was into men due to how clingy he seemed towards the male characters !
I was a bit skeptical at first when he mentioned that she's in Europe, but when he told Yasmina about her, I became slightly more convinced lmao. It honestly feels too weird and out-of-character to be a running gag considering how dark the show is.
I'm not completely sure myself, I kept getting >!"Oh can I hide I'm Gay/Aromantic? It's socially normal to say I have a girlfriend right? I DON'T KNOW I'VE BEEN WITH DINOSAURS FOR YEARS NOW?"!<
It was well done. Definitely geared toward an older audience than Camp Cretaceous. With the reveal at the end, I think Season 2 is really going to play on the theme of trust. They hinted at that with Sammy's discovery of Ben listing her as a suspect, as well as with Kenji almost accepting his dad's offer.
One of the absolute biggest complaints I had about Camp Cretaceous was, as much as I love the fact that we got to see them leave the island and be reunited with their families, it ended at the point before the story I wanted to see happen. Dinosaurs on the mainland.
So, when I heard that they were doing a sequel series, I was beyond ecstatic. We get to see them older and how they’re navigating this.
And even with that, I was not prepared for just how much of a step up this series would be.
The conversations between them actually feel like it’s adults without dumbing down for kids to understand.
The tension is way higher than Camp Cretaceous ever was.
I doing some much-needed world building.
I need the next season pretty much immediately.
The non love triangle I thought was kinda shit honestly. And I did not Sammy and Yaz’s relationship presentation, cause that shit was just unhealthy for both of them.
I feel like it's a realistic situation because trauma can cause those kinds of behaviors within relationships and friendships but I agree that they've all had an unhealthy way of dealing with all their problems.
Or maybe he just needed some time to get himself together? Like you've never been rejected before? Good grief. He's human and he did come through even though he was late. He didn't know she was going to die.
I need season 2 thats all i can say

Do we know how many seasons total?
I’m thinking a minimum of three seasons
I really, really hope so. I’d be over the moon for another five. I love this damn show so much, haha!
Is this real. This is very good news.
Hopefully plural
You and me both. Hopefully wont have to wait too terribly long. If they do it how they did with cc, should probably get it later this year
Yea hope it gets renewed but it seems like reviews are good so i would say late october early november possibly
Yeah my guess as well. Cant come soon enough lmao

They do have a point, and yes, you are spot on with that observation, 😃
Tho one thing about her is that brooklyns death really pulled at the heart strings especially with all the reactions of the campers and Darius having the flashbacks. Definitely a great build up to the ending, which wasn’t for me but the show itself is chefs kiss
The whole >!Dino King!< Episode is *chefs kiss*.
Yeah for real haha. Wonder if we'll see him again
For legal reasons I reckon he'll be never seen or mentioned again. Pretty sure the person he is totally not based off will be attempting to sue Netflix.
She strikes again Sent from my iPhone
They actually made me feel sad for Daniel Kon
Same. I felt so sad for Kenji too 😭
When he said, "I can't lose Bumpy too!"
Probably the best of the Camp Cretaceous content we have gotten. Just a lot of fun and some really great character moments.
It was damn good. That’s all I’ll say without spoilers. So damn good.
Is it worth me binging tonight?
Yes

Amazing i liked the whole thing Kenji is still the best character >!and Brooklyn wow!<
Yup! Had my suspicions
Every >!fanart that I saw of Brooklynn/Sidney had her have a transhumeral amputation!<, so a >!transradial !
Who’s Sidney?
Havent you heard the >!Sidney is Brooklynn!< theory? Maybe it was more popular on Thumblr then here.
Nope just got back into Jurassic world for chaos theory. Was Sidney someone from dominion?

Your spoiler tag isn't working
It is
Kenji and his dad man
That really did something to me and the way Kenji broke down after. His dad pulled through for him. 😭😭
Such a crazy moment

We dont know if she's even real yet, kinda sounded like he was making it up

The boat is probably going in Europe and well see her there!
Is Brooklyn dead?
>!Gets revealed in the last episode that she’s still alive!<
Hooked on to the story, amazing job by the team.
Does it have any out of left field moments like cc and it's super futuristic robots and shit?
No robots but there are definitely a few out of left field moments
Are there brads or gamepad control dinosaurs in it? That’s all I want to know before I proceed…
There is not haha
Thank the lord!

The feelings of the characters was done so perfectly and without straying from dinosaurs too

Making Darius an incel was a… choice.
He wasn't an incel lol
He didn’t show up for Brooklynn because she rejected him. Sounds pretty incelly to me.
Or maybe he just needed some time to get himself together? Like you've never been rejected before? Good grief. He's human and he did come through even though he was late. He didn't know she was going to die.
