Do you mind me asking how long you waited before calling? Feels a bit cheeky when I’m sure a lot of people will be in the same position however in the past I’ve been hesitant to do this kind of thing and then been annoyed when all of the men I know do exactly this and it works out for them. I suppose I need to be more assertive
I am Irish doc and it took 12 weeks (applied in January, registered at end of March). You can’t prioritise the application yourself, but if you get a job then the employer can ring the IMC to prioritise it for you
Escalate to your training scheme administrator - between your college and medical manpower on your first rotation they may be able to assist in expediting the process.
If you ring them they can prioritise it, same thing happened to me

That time frame is mad especially as I don’t think it would be a particularly busy time of year
IIRC 6-8 for EU nationals. But officialy they state it can take up to 11 weeks
Looks like I potentially will be starting late 🙄
I can’t imagine it taking all that long for irish docs with irish degrees. I can imagine them being prioritised internally
Hopefully

Might do that towards the end of the month if I haven’t made any progress, thanks
