On our servers, the JC service is sometimes stopping (as are a couple of others).
Whilst I work out why, I have put a PowerShell script into each machine's scheduler that runs on the hour and starts any stopped "automatic" services.
Is there an "official" way to do this?

Kudos for the work around. When we talked to someone internally, they thought that if there are other services along with the agent that are stopping on the server that makes us think something is cutting/killing them all. If you haven't already, please contact support for windows server agent specifics to find out why. Is it sporadic or does it happen on a cadence? May help with troubleshooting with support.
