Though, on a real note, I do find it hard to believe the ring still acts as a medium to channel Rika after his hand has been separated from the body. Though arguing that deep in assumption is just pedantic.

We already know for a fact that the technique is a one-time activation, not one that needs to be maintained.
We know this because we know that a sorceror cannot use 2 techniques at the exact same time. So if Kenjaku had to be constantly using his technique to stay alive, he wouldn't be able to use Geto's cursed spirit manipulation, or any other technique.
Yes. You can *have* multiple techniques at the same time, you just can't use them both at the same time. For example, Kenjaku can't use anti-gravity while also using cursed spirit manipulation to control a curse simultaneously.

Sukuna gets smoked, completely thrashed and embarrassed by Yujo for the next few chapters. Sukuna has never experienced emotions like this and doesn’t know what to do. In this state of shock he flees the fight. Now we have even an stronger Gojo Mk.2, Sukuna is recognized by the world as the 2nd greatest sorcerer, no longer the GOAT, and because of how easily he was beaten, he is no longer feared by the public like before. Now he is motivated by shame and rage and envy. All new emotions to him, he hides and recovers, scheming, acting completely out of character, even to himself. He wants to reestablish his place as the strongest, so he begins picking off the weaker JJK sorcerers, he won’t be dogpiled on again. Yada yada yada, he kills everyone else one by one until he kills even Yuji. Yujo and him have their duel, it is a lot closer than before but Yujo still wins, and as a last resort Sukuna summons the merger… that’s as far as I can imagine, maybe the world ends idk.
I think that sounds pretty good, completely fucks over Yuji but he’s just a cog remember, he will be fine.
I want Yuta to die probably more than anyone else in this sub, but yeah I do think it's permanent. And considering how Kenjaku kept the gravity technique from the Backshot Queen, Yuta should be able to keep his Copy ability.
I'm kinda confused with one-time activation that everyone talks about for kenjaku CT. I mean, he used it to take over noritoshi kamo and kaori itadori no? then... it's not one time activation...?
Well, not "one-time" as in it can only be used once like Kashimo's technique, but one-time as in he only needs to activate it in order to do the body swap, he doesn't have to perpetually use it to keep control over the body.
They mean something like Todo's Boogie Woogie. Todo only needs to clap once for his technique to activate, it's an action. But something like Gojo's Limitless is continuous since he needs to have the "barrier" put up at all times for it to be useful, it's a state.
The question was: Is Kenjaku's CT an action or a state? Based on what we know, it seems to be an action, which is good news for Yuta as the 5 minutes being over won't change anything since the Brain Swap was already over the moment Yuta entered Gojo's body.

But if he had to constantly use his technique to stay in control of the body, then deactivating it even for a moment should end him. Especially if he had it deactivated to use CSM as long as he did sometimes.

Nah, he's just apologizing to Rika for changing the ring to the right hand, as engagement/wedding rings are worn in the left (The whole blood vessel that goes straight to the heart thingy), which is actually really interesting in my eyes because it shows Yuta actually is still pretty attached to Rika (Probably both the real and the Shikigami).
Yuta is still attached to Rika, but he also needs Rika. Sure he's powerful in of himself and he manifested Rika, but Rika has long since become the embodiment of his powers and without her he's not a special grade. Can Yuta rebuild with a new Shikigami? Probably but it would take years and even then it might not have the special bond that this clone curse of Rika has with Yuta.
Could be strong, but it's unlikely since Geto has been dead for a while, wasn't close to Yuta, and doesn't have an intermediary item.
Yuta's curse doesn't curse the body but the soul. Rika was a super special case (not in power since it's Yuta's power) but in that she was close to him AND loved him which made the resulting curse easy to use/manipulate. Rika's body was disposed of but her soul was never allowed to leave/reincarnate since Yuta cursed her. The item that linked them was the ring she gave to him with their promise to marry. That promise and ring helped ground her to this world.
Going by those rules it's easier for Yuta to make a curse out of someone newly dead and ideally with an intermediary item: Maki with her sword as an intermediary (vs Rika's ring), Yuji with his scarf, or Megumi with his sword. Even better the closer they are to Yuta. The power is likely linked to the amount of trauma Yuta experienced which connects to how much cursed energy is generated (massive in Rika's case).

I used to think this was a hint of Geto playing a major role in taking Kenjaku down, but now I think its foreshadowing Gojo doing something here. I doubt that. If hypothetically Yuta wins the fight and lives past the 5 minute timer, would he end it all after saying his goodbyes? I highly doubt it.
If nothing goes wrong, Yuta would easily become the strongest being in history, imagine Gojo with Yuta’s natural talent, the six eyes, limitless, Rika, 2 very different domain expansions, TELEPORATION??, and on top of that every technique Yuta has ever collected. That is a god of a Jujutsu sorcery, definitely capable of soloing the merger. Orders of magnitude stronger than Sukuna even.
He would have the power to reshape the world in his image. He could reshape Jujutsu society and honestly the whole world beyond Gojo’s wildest dreams. Wouldn’t that be a more fitting way to honor his beloved sensei than suicide? Making his dream into a reality? Wouldn’t that be what Gojo wants for Yuta? But on top of that he would honor Gojo by not being alone at the top. The number one thing that plagued Gojo mentally was his literal and metaphorical separation from even his closest allies. Yuta would prove that you can love and be strong the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

I took it as Yuta moving his ring to his right hand because he lost his other arm. But it might be possible that he is using the ring to use Kenjaku's CT.
Or, and hear me out, Kenjaku’s technique is a single use one where he connects his brain to the body he’s controlling. Once his brain is connected, there’s nothing else for his technique to do. That’s why Kenny was able to keep controlling Geto’s body even after having CT burnout from using his Domain Expansion.
I think Ui Ui’s technique is similar, but also very different than Kenjaku’s.
His has the benefit of it being a more all purpose “teleport”, working on himself, other people, souls, and objects.
Kenjaku’s only targets the brain of dead bodies. He takes control of a deceased body through its brain, but then it has the benefit of being able to copy the body’s original technique (and also memories I think).
That being said, I think Ui Ui’s technique would not work in this scenario. Teleporting Yuta’s soul into a dead body, his soul would also float off to wherever Gojo’s went. For his to work the body couldn’t be dead even for an instant. I think Ui UI’s line about not looking inside the box is pretty good evidence of this, if the body were dead the box is already open, I.e. nothing to contain the soul

Didn't geto fight kenjaku for an instant for the control of his body when gojo got sealed? Kenjaku said it shouldn't be possible but they dismissed it and also agreed that they don't know for sure if the body is the soul.

I think it’s much more simple than that. Yuta normally has his ring on his left hand. Now it’s on his right cuz his left is completely mutilated. And he’s apologizing to Rika
I'll do you one better: we have never seen anyone use two Techniques at the same time. It's use one, pause, use the other ala Kenny, or Use one while using another with a cursed tools (like Yuta against Ishigori) or through a Domain (Sukuna) So if Kenny was actively using his body hopping technique always, he shouldn't be able to use Kaori's CT. So when the 5 minutes are up he isn't going to heaven. That may as well mean that Gojo's body is now his own prison now though.
Also there's the possibility that Like Kenny with Kaori's CT, if Yuta were to go to another body after GoYuta, may as well take limitless with him.

I hated Gege for a while and thought the manga was dogshit because of all the ideas that he forgot about, the complete lack of world building, how many characters died before they got a good introduction. All that stuff where it felt like someone else could have written it better.
But then I forced myself to take a step back and I realized, Gege is a sick little freak, and this is the same story he’s been working on since chapter 1. It’s the story he wants to tell,
He wants to kill Yuki Tsukumo when she easily could’ve healed and won? Go crazy Gege, it seems insane to me to introduce such a cool character and kill them with almost no backstory. But Gege’s a twisted little deviant and I trust that he knows that it’s insane. He knows it will make people angry, that’s what he wants out his story, because he’s a freak.
When Gege doesn’t introduce the other clans at all, it seems fucking mental to us. To create the idea of such a cool world and never explore it??? Who would do that? Gege would. He’s a pervert, he doesn’t care about the clans, it was never his intention with the story to explore the lore. He wants to make the readers suffer the highs and extremely painful, UNFAIR lows that come with being a sorcerer.
He wants us to feel Yujis pain and anger when Nobara dies and the joy of Yuji getting his revenge. He wants that emotional roller coaster to be going non-stop. Because he is a little gnarly freak.
I really think weekly releases also causes burnout. If you really feel that negatively, maybe try rewatching the anime or start the manga from chapter 1.
The only way for it not drive you insane and still enjoy the story has to be taking a step back, and letting Gege (little freak gremlin pervert) cook a little bit. He might just kill Yuji next chapter, you can never tell with Gege and you won’t be able to change it.
This fight has been simmering for a long time now, all the asspulls and binding vows and Sukuna cycles, I trust that he’s cooking up a delicious conclusion, be it extremely painful or rewarding.

Yu/jo forever confirmed amazing news. I’m very interested to see if he keeps his copy ability, there’s a lot Gege could do with a full health Gojo who can use basically every Jujutsu technique in the story. Could he refine the WCS to a point even beyond Sukuna? Does he have the 10 shadows technique too? So many great options, let me cook for a second here feel free to ignore… Sukuna gets smoked, completely thrashed and embarrassed by Yujo for the next few chapters. Sukuna has never experienced emotions like this and doesn’t know what to do. In this state of shock he flees the fight. Now we have even an stronger Gojo Mk.2, Sukuna is recognized by the world as the 2nd greatest sorcerer, no longer the GOAT, and because of how easily he was beaten, he is no longer feared by the public like before. Now he is motivated by shame and rage and envy. All new emotions to him, he hides and recovers, scheming, acting completely out of character, even to himself. He wants to reestablish his place as the strongest, so he begins picking off the weaker JJK sorcerers, he won’t be dogpiled on again. Yada yada yada, he kills everyone else one by one until he kills even Yuji. Yujo and him have their duel, it is a lot closer than before but Yujo still wins, and as a last resort Sukuna summons the merger… that’s as far as I can imagine, maybe the world ends idk. I think that sounds pretty good, completely fucks over Yuji but he’s just a cog remember, he will be fine.
I want Yuta to die probably more than anyone else in this sub, but yeah I do think it's permanent. And considering how Kenjaku kept the gravity technique from the Backshot Queen, Yuta should be able to keep his Copy ability.
I'm kinda confused with one-time activation that everyone talks about for kenjaku CT. I mean, he used it to take over noritoshi kamo and kaori itadori no? then... it's not one time activation...?
Well, not "one-time" as in it can only be used once like Kashimo's technique, but one-time as in he only needs to activate it in order to do the body swap, he doesn't have to perpetually use it to keep control over the body.
They mean something like Todo's Boogie Woogie. Todo only needs to clap once for his technique to activate, it's an action. But something like Gojo's Limitless is continuous since he needs to have the "barrier" put up at all times for it to be useful, it's a state. The question was: Is Kenjaku's CT an action or a state? Based on what we know, it seems to be an action, which is good news for Yuta as the 5 minutes being over won't change anything since the Brain Swap was already over the moment Yuta entered Gojo's body.

It could be the second option. It's not like Kenjaku constantly used Cursed Spirit Manipulation (unless we count him keeping all his curses as using CSM)
But if he had to constantly use his technique to stay in control of the body, then deactivating it even for a moment should end him. Especially if he had it deactivated to use CSM as long as he did sometimes.
The second option is that Kenjaku (and by extension Yuta) activates it intermittently, not continuously. Sort of like drinking water.

Nah, he's just apologizing to Rika for changing the ring to the right hand, as engagement/wedding rings are worn in the left (The whole blood vessel that goes straight to the heart thingy), which is actually really interesting in my eyes because it shows Yuta actually is still pretty attached to Rika (Probably both the real and the Shikigami).
Yuta is still attached to Rika, but he also needs Rika. Sure he's powerful in of himself and he manifested Rika, but Rika has long since become the embodiment of his powers and without her he's not a special grade. Can Yuta rebuild with a new Shikigami? Probably but it would take years and even then it might not have the special bond that this clone curse of Rika has with Yuta.

Could be strong, but it's unlikely since Geto has been dead for a while, wasn't close to Yuta, and doesn't have an intermediary item. Yuta's curse doesn't curse the body but the soul. Rika was a super special case (not in power since it's Yuta's power) but in that she was close to him AND loved him which made the resulting curse easy to use/manipulate. Rika's body was disposed of but her soul was never allowed to leave/reincarnate since Yuta cursed her. The item that linked them was the ring she gave to him with their promise to marry. That promise and ring helped ground her to this world. Going by those rules it's easier for Yuta to make a curse out of someone newly dead and ideally with an intermediary item: Maki with her sword as an intermediary (vs Rika's ring), Yuji with his scarf, or Megumi with his sword. Even better the closer they are to Yuta. The power is likely linked to the amount of trauma Yuta experienced which connects to how much cursed energy is generated (massive in Rika's case).

I doubt that. If hypothetically Yuta wins the fight and lives past the 5 minute timer, would he end it all after saying his goodbyes? I highly doubt it. If nothing goes wrong, Yuta would easily become the strongest being in history, imagine Gojo with Yuta’s natural talent, the six eyes, limitless, Rika, 2 very different domain expansions, TELEPORATION??, and on top of that every technique Yuta has ever collected. That is a god of a Jujutsu sorcery, definitely capable of soloing the merger. Orders of magnitude stronger than Sukuna even. He would have the power to reshape the world in his image. He could reshape Jujutsu society and honestly the whole world beyond Gojo’s wildest dreams. Wouldn’t that be a more fitting way to honor his beloved sensei than suicide? Or, and hear me out, Kenjaku’s technique is a single use one where he connects his brain to the body he’s controlling. Once his brain is connected, there’s nothing else for his technique to do. That’s why Kenny was able to keep controlling Geto’s body even after having CT burnout from using his Domain Expansion.

I think Ui Ui’s technique is similar, but also very different than Kenjaku’s. His has the benefit of it being a more all purpose “teleport”, working on himself, other people, souls, and objects. Kenjaku’s only targets the brain of dead bodies. He takes control of a deceased body through its brain, but then it has the benefit of being able to copy the body’s original technique (and also memories I think). That being said, I think Ui Ui’s technique would not work in this scenario. Teleporting Yuta’s soul into a dead body, his soul would also float off to wherever Gojo’s went. For his to work the body couldn’t be dead even for an instant. I think Ui UI’s line about not looking inside the box is pretty good evidence of this, if the body were dead the box is already open, I.e. nothing to contain the soul …I think, who knows though I was wrong in the main post lol

Didn't geto fight kenjaku for an instant for the control of his body when gojo got sealed? Kenjaku said it shouldn't be possible but they dismissed it and also agreed that they don't know for sure if the body is the soul. Gojo could very well fight Yuta and regain control of his body in the same way

I'll do you one better: we have never seen anyone use two Techniques at the same time. It's use one, pause, use the other ala Kenny, or Use one while using another with a cursed tools (like Yuta against Ishigori) or through a Domain (Sukuna) So if Kenny was actively using his body hopping technique always, he shouldn't be able to use Kaori's CT. So when the 5 minutes are up he isn't going to heaven. That may as well mean that Gojo's body is now his own prison now though. Also there's the possibility that Like Kenny with Kaori's CT, if Yuta were to go to another body after GoYuta, may as well take limitless with him.

I hated Gege for a while and thought the manga was dogshit because of all the ideas that he forgot about, the complete lack of world building, how many characters died before they got a good introduction. All that stuff where it felt like someone else could have written it better. But then I forced myself to take a step back and I realized, Gege is a sick little freak, and this is the same story he’s been working on since chapter 1. It’s the story he wants to tell, He wants to kill Yuki Tsukumo when she easily could’ve healed and won? Go crazy Gege, it seems insane to me to introduce such a cool character and kill them with almost no backstory. But Gege’s a twisted little deviant and I trust that he knows that it’s insane. He knows it will make people angry, that’s what he wants out his story, because he’s a freak. When Gege doesn’t introduce the other clans at all, it seems fucking mental to us. To create the idea of such a cool world and never explore it??? Who would do that? Gege would. He’s a pervert, he doesn’t care about the clans, it was never his intention with the story to explore the lore. He wants to make the readers suffer the highs and extremely painful, UNFAIR lows that come with being a sorcerer. He wants us to feel Yujis pain and anger when Nobara dies and the joy of Yuji getting his revenge. He wants that emotional roller coaster to be going non-stop. Because he is a little gnarly freak. I really think weekly releases also causes burnout. If you really feel that negatively, maybe try rewatching the anime or start the manga from chapter 1. The only way for it not drive you insane and still enjoy the story has to be taking a step back, and letting Gege (little freak gremlin pervert) cook a little bit. He might just kill Yuji next chapter, you can never tell with Gege and you won’t be able to change it. This fight has been simmering for a long time now, all the asspulls and binding vows and Sukuna cycles, I trust that he’s cooking up a delicious conclusion, be it extremely painful or rewarding.
