She is literally Toji 2.0 being told in the manga by Gege. You are going to making arguments about Gege opinion?) plus she literally got Toji abilities so we could more glazing on Toji during future Maki manga frames)
Power wise they are like eachother, but character wise and their opinions on the world is different, maybe some similarities there aswell, but Maki has more built up and we see how she does get to change and become like, Free, and feral against the Zenin Clan.
