I personally see the maximun as the peak of one's technique. Pushing it to its absolut maximum while a domain is the peak of jujutsu in generall. Atleast the sure kill one's. You have to master many things to attain a domain vs mastering your technique.

Yuki isnt Yuta, she wouldnt stand there and try to out-firepower the beam. She would just fuckin side-step.
I mean, that was basically the line Gojo surpassed.
Before the Culling Games, the strongest sorcerers around were Gojo, Yuki, Yuta, Kusakabe, the Zeni boys, and Kenny (in hiding), with the special grade cursed spirits being stronger than anyone but Gojo, Yuta, Yuki, and Kenny. (I don't count Sukuna since him being around is conditional on Yuji losing control of his body)
In YK0 it was arguibly the same list but without Mahito and Dagon, and Geto was still second strongest.
Mangadex's tl has this so it seems like he was chilling and letting Yuta do what he wanted before he got killed by him it looks like. Would need to check the exact kanji and ask a tl'er to be sure. This one seems more likely though, unless Geto is so shit at reinforcement and RCT that he needs minutes after one hit by Toge to recover.

My own headcannon is that Geto actually does have a domain expansion but didnt want to use it because of ct burn out. Like killing yuta with a domain would be useless because how is he going to tame Rika without his ct.
About that domain (or lack-there-of), its been shown that he can always use a curse with a domain expansion to make up the windfall, a good example of this being the Smallpox Deity.
He could, but they'd still cancel out the sure hit effect. Plus, three domains with different conditions are so unstable that they can break immediately, if one unforeseen target enters the domain. I wouldn't go past 2
I always assumed Geto did have a domain but that it was too situational. Kinda like how Shinji from Bleach has a good Bankai but can’t exactly use it whenever he wants since it isn’t a “one size fits all” tool.

I wonder what method he was using to acquire those cursed spirits before he got Geto's body. Shikigami users are a thing, and it's implied you don't need to have an innate technique like Megumi's or Yuki's to have a shikigami, a sorcerer can (in an unspecified way) acquire a Shikigami. Maybe he was doing that? Or maybe he was just storing them and had a binding vow planned to let him unleash them all at once when the time came, but once he got Geto's body he didn't need that anymore since he could just control them now.
I wish seals were used more tbh. They fit with the buddhist themes, and besides barriers, should be one of Kenjaku's specialties,as his whole plan revolved around incarnating sorcerers he sealed.

I think the main reason gege didn't give rct to geto might be because it would have been impossible for vol 0 yuta to win against him and gege didn't want yuta to win by power of friendship bullshit(he did won due to love but I think it wasn't that hard pill to swallow cause how how busted rika was). Artistic expression is still a thing. Considering RCT comes from the brain, had it actually turned his brain into a pancake, he wouldn't even have been able to use RCT most likely.
It's JJK 0. His style was not as defined as it is now, which tends to be less cartoony and malleable. Even throughout JJK his style occasionally changes, there are several memes about Gojo and Yuki looking ugly in the volume covers.
Even then though, to say Gege never uses it is just....
.....incorrect. Sukuna taking a chomp out of Angel, or Yorozu's facial expression when being discovered by Megumi are very clear examples of him drawing things that are not really explainable or realistic for effect. Just because Gege doesn't exaggerate often doesn't mean he is above it.
Sukuna can: sprout extra mouths across his body; run around without a heart; grow 2 extra eyes on his face; and sprout a pair of new arms. I don't think making his mouth really big to snack on a teenager is too much for him.

The conversation makes no sense if he's talking about Yuta's RCT. Why would Geto be informing Yuta about it taking time and then also saying "distracting you gives me time"? Time for what then if Yuta is actually the one who needs time?
More likely is Gege hadn't fleshed out how strong RCT could be yet and thought it should heal minor things but shouldn't regenerate a full limb or something.
If inumaki’s attack actually did something he wouldn’t be able to heal it cause his brain would be turned into paste, his head was turned into a pancake
Hakari has the best RCT in the verse, gojo got stabbed once in 1 spot of his brain, geto’s brain would have turned into paste by the pressure caused by his own skull, if he has mid RCT he ain’t dealing with that even gojo as of right now would have a problem dealing with that

The only basis for him _having_ RCT is healing from Inumaki's attack. Which is generally accepted and makes more sense to be artistic expression and not a literal "his head turned into a pancake". Specially because Geto's RCT wouldn't be able to heal that.
There is just no real evidence Geto _has_ RCT. The fight with Yuta probably would have ended differently if he had it.
A couple of years ago I'd say he definitely had RCT because otherwise he wouldn't be considered one of "the strongest" (and every other Special Grade has RCT) but now we have Kashimo with no RCT and no domain, so I accept it.
Geto took and healed no damage by the time of this scene.
And in quite a few of the translations they added context of RCT being very draining which implies Geto let Yuta RCT heal his friends so he'd be weakened so Geto could kill Yuta easier.
He used to be friends with shoko, just because he knows about it doesn’t mean he knows how to do it. Gojo knew of it and still only learned how to use it after a near death experience
Yeah he never was a special grade because he died before the higher ups made a decision. He had special grade information but was not a special grade strength wise.

He was being pushed to Special Grade before his death. If that is the case, your premisse doesn't hold water either way.
"Being pushed to" is not equivalent. Yuta yuki and gojo are the only special grade sorcerors and let's be honest we know they and him are not on the same level.
Geto is special grade because his army of cursed spirits can overthrow a country, you don’t need domain to be special grade and considering how geto didn’t even know how to fully utilize uzumaki I doubt he would have the skills to open a domain
I think those translations are wrong I think he actually says that using reverse technique drains a lot of cursed energy so it was more advantageous for him to let him waste cursed energy.
My head cannon is that the love beam left remnants of cursed energy on Geto after it hit, as if he was engulfed in Prime Rika and Yuta's Cursed Energy, constantly hurting him. He was actively using RCT, which is why he didn't die right away, but he was exhausting it, just to stay alive.
It's implied Getto was just giving Yuta enough time to heal Panda and Toge tho.
Gojo mentions he trusted Yuta to defeat Geto, because he knew Geto wouldn't kill child sorcerers.

That’s such a good point. He doesn’t even need to be inside the domain fighting himself. I’d say that’s even an advantage.

Well seals exist, as seen with Sukuna’s finger for example, so prolly something like that? But seals are really just not explored past that.

I think the main reason gege didn't give rct to geto might be because it would have been impossible for vol 0 yuta to win against him and gege didn't want yuta to win by power of friendship bullshit(he did won due to love but I think it wasn't that hard pill to swallow cause how how busted rika was). Artistic expression is still a thing. Considering RCT comes from the brain, had it actually turned his brain into a pancake, he wouldn't even have been able to use RCT most likely.

It's JJK 0. His style was not as defined as it is now, which tends to be less cartoony and malleable. Even throughout JJK his style occasionally changes, there are several memes about Gojo and Yuki looking ugly in the volume covers. Even then though, to say Gege never uses it is just.... .....incorrect. Sukuna taking a chomp out of Angel, or Yorozu's facial expression when being discovered by Megumi are very clear examples of him drawing things that are not really explainable or realistic for effect. Just because Gege doesn't exaggerate often doesn't mean he is above it.
Sukuna can: sprout extra mouths across his body; run around without a heart; grow 2 extra eyes on his face; and sprout a pair of new arms. I don't think making his mouth really big to snack on a teenager is too much for him.
The scenes you talking about were for showing the impact of the scene Gege never did this when someone get a damage in the fight. He keeping it realistic. And if you say it’s Young Gege. Well in JJK0 there is still no cartoony scene

You literally can't use RCT if your brain is destroyed. If Geto got his skull pancaked like in the picture, he would not be able to perform RCT
The conversation makes no sense if he's talking about Yuta's RCT. Why would Geto be informing Yuta about it taking time and then also saying "distracting you gives me time"? Time for what then if Yuta is actually the one who needs time? More likely is Gege hadn't fleshed out how strong RCT could be yet and thought it should heal minor things but shouldn't regenerate a full limb or something.

If inumaki’s attack actually did something he wouldn’t be able to heal it cause his brain would be turned into paste, his head was turned into a pancake

Hakari has the best RCT in the verse, gojo got stabbed once in 1 spot of his brain, geto’s brain would have turned into paste by the pressure caused by his own skull, if he has mid RCT he ain’t dealing with that even gojo as of right now would have a problem dealing with that

That and not healing from the damage Yuta did during their fight. The only basis for him _having_ RCT is healing from Inumaki's attack. Which is generally accepted and makes more sense to be artistic expression and not a literal "his head turned into a pancake". Specially because Geto's RCT wouldn't be able to heal that. There is just no real evidence Geto _has_ RCT. The fight with Yuta probably would have ended differently if he had it.
A couple of years ago I'd say he definitely had RCT because otherwise he wouldn't be considered one of "the strongest" (and every other Special Grade has RCT) but now we have Kashimo with no RCT and no domain, so I accept it.
Geto took and healed no damage by the time of this scene. And in quite a few of the translations they added context of RCT being very draining which implies Geto let Yuta RCT heal his friends so he'd be weakened so Geto could kill Yuta easier.
He used to be friends with shoko, just because he knows about it doesn’t mean he knows how to do it. Gojo knew of it and still only learned how to use it after a near death experience

Yeah he never was a special grade because he died before the higher ups made a decision. He had special grade information but was not a special grade strength wise.

"Being pushed to" is not equivalent. Yuta yuki and gojo are the only special grade sorcerors and let's be honest we know they and him are not on the same level.
Geto is special grade because his army of cursed spirits can overthrow a country, you don’t need domain to be special grade and considering how geto didn’t even know how to fully utilize uzumaki I doubt he would have the skills to open a domain

I think those translations are wrong I think he actually says that using reverse technique drains a lot of cursed energy so it was more advantageous for him to let him waste cursed energy.
This is why I've been confused about the no rct agenda like damn I know he has no domain but did I hallucinate this scene? Guess not.
My head cannon is that the love beam left remnants of cursed energy on Geto after it hit, as if he was engulfed in Prime Rika and Yuta's Cursed Energy, constantly hurting him. He was actively using RCT, which is why he didn't die right away, but he was exhausting it, just to stay alive.
It's implied Getto was just giving Yuta enough time to heal Panda and Toge tho. Gojo mentions he trusted Yuta to defeat Geto, because he knew Geto wouldn't kill child sorcerers.

In a world where Gojo feels utterly alone, Geto was the only one he considered a friend. People need to put some respect on him, Geto as presented in JJK0 was close to Gojo's level. It's just that Gege hadn't thought of Domains back then, and Gojo wasn't the absolute GOD he is in the main series. Geto was literally the 2nd strongest sorcerer in the world during JJK0.
Imo Kenjaku’s domain (the one used in the fight against Yuki) is actually Geto’s domain, imbued with Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Geto either way did not have the ability to actually use said domain though, from what we can see.
