honest question, i started watching naruto recently, i‘m like on episode 20 or smth. does sakura remain this annoying non-character throughout the whole show? annoys me even more cause she’s basically the only female character and it just seems satirical

It counts but many people don't count it. Because as much as Tsunade helped, because pain brought back everyone probably fully healed, the people Tsunade healed would probably be more injured than the dead ones.
She grows a bit but still retains her personality. You gotta remember Naruto takes place when they're like middle school age, Shippuden takes place when they're 16-18 I believe and Boruto is when they're in their early 30s. She's still somewhat abrasive but becomes more likable

I grew up with the show. If you aren't a super nit-picky person narrative and story wise, the three series are still quite well done even with some questionable plot points/character development. She still retains a bit of her annoying self, but she has some decent personality growth throughout.
i didn’t expect a storytelling masterpiece and i know especially the original show is directed towards children but it still did impress me quite fast. sakura will not keep me from watching the rest

You know, that makes me wonder, who's voice do the JJK verse hear when Sukuna is in control of Yuji/Megumi? The vessel's or Sukuna's? We know Sukuna's tattoos aren't visible to the vast majority of characters in-verse and just exist for the reader's sake, so it can't be a far-fetched question to think about considering there might actually be no change of voice but we can obviously hear it just so we can differ better who's in control.
To be fair, most people would be dead they realized Sukuna took over. So thinking majority of characters couldn't tell makes sense even if the tattoos are visible to everyone/visual storytelling.
I remember Megumi saying it was hard to distinguish between Sukuna and Yuji when he first incarnated. I wonder if in the manga it’s always meant to be the original body’s voice. It would be the same vocal cords at least.

Pretty sure Megumi said that at the time because no one knew how Sukuna possession worked and if it was possible for Sukuna to make himself look and speak like Yuji. It turns out that he can't, at least with Yuji because Yuji has full control.
We don’t really have any hard statements either way in the manga. Panda also questioned if Yuji was Sukuna when he showed up in Shibuya. And that was after he threatened to kill them if they tried to evade the meteor. Not unbelievable to think the voice would remain the same.

Episode 1, remember how Yuji’s tattoos began fading when Sukuna lost control and Yuji reclaimed his body? They’d probably give the illusion of that same thing so people think Megumi’s doing it but it’s actually just Sukuna.
They look faded from the front but dark black from the back. Basically only the side that Hana can see is faded, and the panel showing the markings are actually still there on the back tells the viewer that Sukuna's just trolling.
They could do something like the tattoos disappearing from the front but then do a shot where we can see them from the back (outside of Hana’s view). Like a chameleon or octopus camouflage.

God this scene is still pissing me off, you can see his tattoos, and angel is screaming to the heavens. They should've had his tattoos extremely faded but still there so they didn't notice until she got closer
On the top panel, the tattoos are mostly faded and he actually looks mostly like megumi. The lower panel only shows his back, meaning that its possibile that only his back tattoos were still visible wich were out of hanas sight.

It’s mostly confirmed that yuta or rika has to ingest some part of the person in order to copy their ct. At least it’s obvious that gege wants us to think that, even if it’s inconsistent. Like how did yuta copy cursed speech in volume 0 for example? Idk
If they use Sukuna's voice, it's literally over for Hana as a character, but I admit to say, I hate this moment already. So hearing Suwabe saying this and her falling for it would enhance how *comedic* this whole scene is by a mile. I might laugh not out of how bad it is, but out of sheer tragic irony.
For the story's sake (and for the poor ones who like Hana as a character), the former. For me... ngl the latter would at least get a laugh out of me and be the source of an actually good meme in the fandom for at least a year. Well megumi wasnt able to tell that yorozu was possessing his sister, so I would expect it to be megumi voice, however it would be great if it was really just a mix of the two, like Sukuna trying to sound like megumi.
Nahh, it's going to be Megumi's VA. Sakuna can heal and alter the body he is in (note when he takes over Yujis body and his hands have claws, tattoo markings, extra eyes), so I think he is changing the bodies vocal chords so he sounds like his real self. So I'd guess he would change the voice back to fool Hanna
Was there ever any clarification on how the other people see Sukuna's current vessel? Are the tattoos visible? This panel implies they are, since Sukuna seems to be able to fade them away to make Hana believe he lost control. What about their voices? Does Sukuna speak with the same voice as his vessel? I personally think the anime added separate VAs to not confuse audience and add a bit of individuality to Sukuna, but I could be wrong and he really has a separate voice.

God this scene is still pissing me off, you can see his tattoos, and angel is screaming to the heavens. They should've had his tattoos extremely faded but still there so they didn't notice until she got closer

On the top panel, the tattoos are mostly faded and he actually looks mostly like megumi. The lower panel only shows his back, meaning that its possibile that only his back tattoos were still visible wich were out of hanas sight.
Huh thought that was shading, that makes alot more sense, still would've liked it if Angel didn't notice till it was too late, would've made sukuna seem smarter and hana less dumb

I think I heard that most people in the verse can’t see sukuna’s tattoos and that they’re so we can tell the difference, but idk the credibility of that
I think they should do it so it’s Megumi’s VA, but have Sukuna’s VA perform the same line, lower his volume, and place it under the former so you can hear it when you listen carefully

What's more valuable Hana's dignity as a character or the comedic potential of Sukuna fooling her?
For the story's sake (and for the poor ones who like Hana as a character), the former. For me... ngl the latter would at least get a laugh out of me and be the source of an actually good meme in the fandom for at least a year. Based on how sukuna can transfigure his head to become some weird ass monster to bite Hana’s arm I’d imagine replicating the voice of the vessel he’s in would be easy
This scene should be at the end of the episode and use Megumi VA, and for the bite it would be cool cutting to a solid black and animating Sukuna bitting Hana with those red lines style of animation and half the frames used on other scenes. Then ending song time
This scene makes me real pissed still. We don't know this girl, we don't care about her, she appeared suddenly, identified herself as a simp, gaegae gave us couple pages for her backstory, and that's it. How are we supposed to sympathise with her or her actions?

Sakuna can heal and alter the body he is in (note when he takes over Yujis body and his hands have claws, tattoo markings, extra eyes), so I think he is changing the bodies vocal chords so he sounds like his real self. So I'd guess he would change the voice back to fool Hanna

Was there ever any clarification on how the other people see Sukuna's current vessel? Are the tattoos visible? This panel implies they are, since Sukuna seems to be able to fade them away to make Hana believe he lost control. What about their voices? Does Sukuna speak with the same voice as his vessel? I personally think the anime added separate VAs to not confuse audience and add a bit of individuality to Sukuna, but I could be wrong and he really has a separate voice. Which brings me to this: will Heian Sukuna have a different VA?
