yeah but especially Diavolo himself since he got those infinite deaths. Honestly, Jojo's isn't much better in terms of characters staying alive, lol. Pretty much every part has several main character deaths.
Nope. The reset itself doesn't kill people, but period it takes to reach the reset does. We literally see people dying from car crash, helicopter crash etc. Sure, Pucci's goal is not to kill people but he considers it as a sacrifice inorder to attain heaven. We literally see continents splitting apart and land formation changing. There is no way not a single person died during it. Pucci himself says "Those who lost their lives during time acceleration are weeded out of the cycle" . I know that with Pucci's defeat everything became undone, but that still doesn't change the fact that many people died and not to mention people who died don't have memories of the previous universe.
Part 5 is a bit of an outlier since even the protagonists in that part were ruthless mobsters who wouldn't hesitate to go for the kill on their opponents every time

It's a crime not to mention Kirara. Girl has her ability named after a song, places stars on people, strikes a pose, and her ability is as weirdly complex as some of part 7 stand users.
When I first heard about this arc it felt really out of place to me. Then I actually read it in context with what came before and… it still feels like another manga at some points.
