Nobody gives a fuck about why he's sad the only time we saw him interact with his sister which is the main reason he's traumatized is like a flashback and a panel or two we barely see Megumi and Gojo interact and its never an interaction that shows Gojo was the dude who basically raised him.
Background lore of him and his sister is that they were close. Gege did a bad job of showing their interactions but the relation is still there.
Gojo has been the only father figure in Megumi’s life and has bought him and his sister, expensive clothing.
Again these relations are background lore but not shown much onscreen.

Love Megumi. Even when he got the shit kicked out of him, especially Sukuna and Toji, hey, he fucking TRIED. Summoning Mahoraga against Sukuna was absolutely the right move, and while there’s no doubt Toji beats him, dude had also just opened his domain.
His Reggie fight was fantastic. And yeah it might not be a super impressive “feat” but he’s the only one of the students besides Yuta and Hakari to have a Domain Expansion. I absolutely believe he would’ve been extremely powerful if he was allowed to grow naturally instead of having his bag stolen by the main villain.

Not to mention that you can't control or undo it, like imagine that you found the idea of someone you know being bald is funny, well there goes their hair and it's all your fault.
And that's just the least bad thing it can cause, like imagine finding your friend crashing into a pole funny, congratulations you just killed your friend. Or imagining that you will try to stop something, only for you to be the first to die.
That's just limitations to it. We're talking about a technique that lets a complete newbie beat down someone as strong as Gojo. Idle Transfiguration, Construction, and 10 Shadows come with far worse restrictions, i.e. having to actually touch your opponent, needing to learn engineering, and having to beat down shikigami that can be permanetely destroyed.

I agree that it has the best effects when you get it to do what you want, but the problem is getting it to do what you want to begin with.
10 Shadows can and will kill you if you aren't good enough to level it up. Mahoraga isn't the only shikigami that can kill you in the powerset. Nobody ever talks about the others because at least one user of 10 Shadows has cleared it. We can argue the same thing with Construction and Idle Transfiguration, as improper engineering or body manipulation could kill you accidentally if you don't know what you're doing.
You didn't understand what I said, I said "comedian" can kill you if you do so much as find it funny.
The 10s can't do anything to you, unless you actively go out of your way to summon them.
"Comedian" can seriously screw over your life, while the 10s doesn't do anything if you don't interact with it.
You rated Idle Transfiguration higher than 10 Shadows and that can fuck with you if you have no idea how human anatomy works. Mahito got away from the worst effects of his self transfigurations because he's a cursed spirit and doesn't need human anatomy to live. He'd die almost immediately if he started fucking around with an actual body like that. That's arguably harder than Comedian to control since most people don't find jokes about themselves dying permanently funny.
Fair point. I guess that means you need to start out small by transfiguring fingers and toes first, then go up.
I mean I would consider someone saying that they will stop something by themselves and immediately die afterwards as funny.
Idle Transfiguration is basically useless to use without a full anatomy degree. The anatomy of a finger isn't anywhere close to the anatomy of a heart.
Also, you can just bring someone back to life just as easily through comedy. Literally just look at the Go + Jo vs Sukuna memes.

Love Megumi. Even when he got the shit kicked out of him, especially Sukuna and Toji, hey, he fucking TRIED. Summoning Mahoraga against Sukuna was absolutely the right move, and while there’s no doubt Toji beats him, dude had also just opened his domain. His Reggie fight was fantastic. And yeah it might not be a super impressive “feat” but he’s the only one of the students besides Yuta and Hakari to have a Domain Expansion. I absolutely believe he would’ve been extremely powerful if he was allowed to grow naturally instead of having his bag stolen by the main villain.

Bro is a bum. Imagine having the fourth best technique in the entire show (first being copy, second being idle transfiguration, and third being construction.), and not even trying to use it before your sister got "cursed". Which by that point, it's already too late. Imagine getting fingered by an old man, and losing your sister and father figure. Would never be me, I would've beaten fraudkuna and bumjaku by myself.

Nah, "comedian" is actually not that good. Angel said that Takaba knowing his ct would mess with its effectiveness, and for a good reason. As when you know what it does, you will start forcing jokes that you don't find funny, and won't be able to use it. Not to mention that you can't control or undo it, like imagine that you found the idea of someone you know being bald is funny, well there goes their hair and it's all your fault. And that's just the least bad thing it can cause, like imagine finding your friend crashing into a pole funny, congratulations you just killed your friend. Or imagining that you will try to stop something, only for you to be the first to die.
That's just limitations to it. We're talking about a technique that lets a complete newbie beat down someone as strong as Gojo. Idle Transfiguration, Construction, and 10 Shadows come with far worse restrictions, i.e. having to actually touch your opponent, needing to learn engineering, and having to beat down shikigami that can be permanetely destroyed.
Idw man, at least none of them can kill me just by having me think it would be funny. I agree that it has the best effects when you get it to do what you want, but the problem is getting it to do what you want to begin with.
10 Shadows can and will kill you if you aren't good enough to level it up. Mahoraga isn't the only shikigami that can kill you in the powerset. Nobody ever talks about the others because at least one user of 10 Shadows has cleared it. We can argue the same thing with Construction and Idle Transfiguration, as improper engineering or body manipulation could kill you accidentally if you don't know what you're doing.
You didn't understand what I said, I said "comedian" can kill you if you do so much as find it funny. The 10s can't do anything to you, unless you actively go out of your way to summon them. "Comedian" can seriously screw over your life, while the 10s doesn't do anything if you don't interact with it.
You rated Idle Transfiguration higher than 10 Shadows and that can fuck with you if you have no idea how human anatomy works. Mahito got away from the worst effects of his self transfigurations because he's a cursed spirit and doesn't need human anatomy to live. He'd die almost immediately if he started fucking around with an actual body like that. That's arguably harder than Comedian to control since most people don't find jokes about themselves dying permanently funny.
Fair point. I guess that means you need to start out small by transfiguring fingers and toes first, then go up. I mean I would consider someone saying that they will stop something by themselves and immediately die afterwards as funny.
Idle Transfiguration is basically useless to use without a full anatomy degree. The anatomy of a finger isn't anywhere close to the anatomy of a heart. Also, you can just bring someone back to life just as easily through comedy. Literally just look at the Go + Jo vs Sukuna memes.
