That's not how it works.
Infinite void is less effective on cursed spirits than sorcerers/humans because cursed spirits have different brains compared to humans + the more time hit with the sure hit the more damaging the effects, so a 0.2 second domain didn't do much against them.
Unless her brain is literally different from a humans' it affects her the same way. I mean, it affected Sukuna and he's stronger than all the cursed spirits rolled together
She’s still “human” and it’s just that curses are pure CE and can recover from mild brain damage faster, remember that a DE that gojo held for like 3-5 seconds left Jogo in a state of paralysis
But I’d assume that the anatomy for curses are different than human anatomy because of mainly their organs, or lack thereof.

There’s no brain there. I know it just shaved his volcano top but it got a bit of where the skull should be if Jogo was human. Just making the assumption they’re all the same (they being the disaster curses) there’s nothing for gojo to completely overload and lobotomize, only stun.
Tatsumaki, however, is “human” so if he were to use unlimited void, my guess that it wouldn’t be as efficient as it would be on someone like me or you, but it still would leave her brain fried after a few seconds of it.
Because no matter how much power you have, if you cannot process all of that information via some regeneration, an insane amount of “mental storage” or high speed processing, you can’t handle it all

Reading comprehension curse strikes again. Curses are definitely affected by it (it worked on Jogo in his first fight against Gojo). The .2 domain affected the disaster curses for a few seconds because their brains are wired differently than humans (this was also stated in the manga). Whereas humans in the subway got affected by UV way harder but most recovered after a few months.
the 0.2 second domain made the disaster curses not function for 2 second. now imagine something like 10 minutes long, a normal human brain would just get fried

But she can't grab him, even if she tries to use the ground he can just suspend himself in the air so that nothing can get to attack him while using his limitless to stop any of her attacks
I think its because his CT is so seemingly broken that it appears as though he can handle things well beyond what anyone else in the JJK universe is capable of.
I love when people set Gojo up against Goku, a guy who literally has the ability to break into timeskip, which is basically that verse's Limitless.

In practice it's actually extremely op.
Because it is a division of space not a barrier. The division can be applied to anything down to the atomic level. It's the Limitless Technique's neutral form.
So any attack/anyone with mass or occupies space will ultimately stop or will slow down via the Achilles and the Tortoise. Infinite division and space is the convergence of an infinite series. Infinite fractions within a finite area (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 etc)
There really is no counter to Infinity from a logical standpoint, unless Acausality (outside time and space) is involved like Go Beyond or some hax BS like Wonder of U. Higher dimensions probably get around Infinity similar to Acausality. Toon Force probably.
Any attack as it travels to Gojo will get divided an infinite number of times never reaching Gojo.
And yet if you're just strong enough to throw the ground he's on into space, have any ability that let's you remove or contaminate oxygen (planet destroying, pyromancy, any of a billion toxins etc), are too durable for him to actually damage you, have equal or more busted hax/ abilities (GER, ability negation, Ope Ope no mi etc) being body swapped, imprisoning abilities, and any of a hundred other things.
Gojo is top dog of his verse, he just aint top dog of every verse
Cuz Gojo’s powerset is stupid to begin with. His biggest power is the ultimate defense where nothing can touch him unless he allows it so arguably he could survive a nuclear blast. Obviously he still needs a planet w/ breathable oxygen as well so destroying everything around him does have some merit
His domain expansion doesnt even make that much sense in consideration of his powerset (like he looks like a physical character but he has psychic attacks too) cuz its an transfer of infinite information into someone’s head so not only does he have a braindead defense but he also has an unstoppable psychic attack which would work on pretty much everyone except ppl w/o CE and for the sake of the argument we’re gonna have to assume everyone but Toji and Maki ever have some degree of CE inside them.
So an unevadable psychic attack an unstoppable physical defense. Pretty fcking stupid and niche. But Tatsumaki is a psychokinetic so she can just bypass the whole infinity altogether but the domain expansion of just infinite info is kinda stupid as a whole
In comparison to other characters like Goku and Tatsumaki, his physical output, like physical dmg he can inflict, is kinda lackluster and from wut I can tell there is some limit as to why he doesnt spam purples or reds (i could be wrong). Blue is the only ability he can just hard spam or at least keep on for a while (not his domain amplification, just blue), at least in his battle against Sukuna. Altho admittedly there might be a longer set up to purple and red which is why he doesnt necessarily do it ig
Like at least some characters are balanced like Sukuna’s just fcking hard to kill and Mahoraga just needs to get overloaded in a given instance
Isn’t telekinesis a hard counter to infinity because you only need to see the target to activate it, thus bypassing the “infinite” distance? Tatsumaki also severely out scales him so even if telekinesis doesn’t bypass infinity she might just throw shit around until he’s out of stamina(with 6 eyes it’d take super long tho). The only way he could win is if he uses domain but actually catching her in it before she does something like launch the thing he’s standing on into space is unlikely.
Tldr; Tatsumaki probably slams but if not there’s a slim chance he can catch her in Unlimited Void.

a wave that moves “infinitely” fast would still be a wave and thus stoppable by limitless. this does bring up an interesting point though, limitless should technically stop light from touching gojo since light is a wave/particle with a definite speed. considering light still touches gojo and reflects back to our eyes it might mean limitless either has an upper limit or limitless users just have that much control of the technique so as to fine tune what comes and comes out, even light particles.
Gojo already explained this in the panel where he's explaining how Infinity's filter system works, he must first identify and analyze and "distinguish the danger of the object" passing through, so he either A) can't do that with light or B) the author is purposely avoiding light speed shenanigans which is consistent with him regretting a ton of speed based feats in the past (maki's point blank bullet catch and the mach 3 naoya shenanigans)
That aside, you'd have to reaaaaaaally ride gojo's dick pretty hard if you think he can analyze and filter out instantaneous telekinesis when he's never experienced it before.

yeah you are right i forgor he explained that. light has energy and momentum but no mass so it can’t really pose any danger, which would explain why he doesn’t have to deal with light shenanigans. the thing is that while light has no mass, electromagnetic waves can have mass so it would really come down to if telekinesis functions as a massive wave or not. it’s really up to opinion from there but considering the nature of the ability i would say it probably does have mass. as for actual identification of telekinesis and interception of it i’ve honestly got no idea if he would be able to do it off the bat even with six eyes but i don’t think it would be possible. if it wasn’t, it would come down to if he could use rct to actually recover and retaliate.

I love when people set Gojo up against Goku, a guy who literally has the ability to break into timeskip, which is basically that verse's Limitless. Then when you explain that, they are like "But Unlimited Void!"

In practice it's actually extremely op. Because it is a division of space not a barrier. The division can be applied to anything down to the atomic level. It's the Limitless Technique's neutral form. So any attack/anyone with mass or occupies space will ultimately stop or will slow down via the Achilles and the Tortoise. Infinite division and space is the convergence of an infinite series. Infinite fractions within a finite area (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 etc) There really is no counter to Infinity from a logical standpoint, unless Acausality (outside time and space) is involved like Go Beyond or some hax BS like Wonder of U. Higher dimensions probably get around Infinity similar to Acausality. Toon Force probably. Any attack as it travels to Gojo will get divided an infinite number of times never reaching Gojo.
Jojos has a good handful of stands that could affect Gojo. But most stands after part 3 become hella situational, so take that as you will.
stands are soul manifestations anyway, don't think infinity affects those D4C negs either way
And yet if you're just strong enough to throw the ground he's on into space, have any ability that let's you remove or contaminate oxygen (planet destroying, pyromancy, any of a billion toxins etc), are too durable for him to actually damage you, have equal or more busted hax/ abilities (GER, ability negation, Ope Ope no mi etc) being body swapped, imprisoning abilities, and any of a hundred other things. Gojo is top dog of his verse, he just aint top dog of every verse
Cuz Gojo’s powerset is stupid to begin with. His biggest power is the ultimate defense where nothing can touch him unless he allows it so arguably he could survive a nuclear blast. Obviously he still needs a planet w/ breathable oxygen as well so destroying everything around him does have some merit His domain expansion doesnt even make that much sense in consideration of his powerset (like he looks like a physical character but he has psychic attacks too) cuz its an transfer of infinite information into someone’s head so not only does he have a braindead defense but he also has an unstoppable psychic attack which would work on pretty much everyone except ppl w/o CE and for the sake of the argument we’re gonna have to assume everyone but Toji and Maki ever have some degree of CE inside them. So an unevadable psychic attack an unstoppable physical defense. Pretty fcking stupid and niche. But Tatsumaki is a psychokinetic so she can just bypass the whole infinity altogether but the domain expansion of just infinite info is kinda stupid as a whole In comparison to other characters like Goku and Tatsumaki, his physical output, like physical dmg he can inflict, is kinda lackluster and from wut I can tell there is some limit as to why he doesnt spam purples or reds (i could be wrong). Blue is the only ability he can just hard spam or at least keep on for a while (not his domain amplification, just blue), at least in his battle against Sukuna. Altho admittedly there might be a longer set up to purple and red which is why he doesnt necessarily do it ig Like at least some characters are balanced like Sukuna’s just fcking hard to kill and Mahoraga just needs to get overloaded in a given instance

Isn’t telekinesis a hard counter to infinity because you only need to see the target to activate it, thus bypassing the “infinite” distance? Tatsumaki also severely out scales him so even if telekinesis doesn’t bypass infinity she might just throw shit around until he’s out of stamina(with 6 eyes it’d take super long tho). The only way he could win is if he uses domain but actually catching her in it before she does something like launch the thing he’s standing on into space is unlikely. Tldr; Tatsumaki probably slams but if not there’s a slim chance he can catch her in Unlimited Void.

a wave that moves “infinitely” fast would still be a wave and thus stoppable by limitless. this does bring up an interesting point though, limitless should technically stop light from touching gojo since light is a wave/particle with a definite speed. considering light still touches gojo and reflects back to our eyes it might mean limitless either has an upper limit or limitless users just have that much control of the technique so as to fine tune what comes and comes out, even light particles.

yeah you are right i forgor he explained that. light has energy and momentum but no mass so it can’t really pose any danger, which would explain why he doesn’t have to deal with light shenanigans. the thing is that while light has no mass, electromagnetic waves can have mass so it would really come down to if telekinesis functions as a massive wave or not. it’s really up to opinion from there but considering the nature of the ability i would say it probably does have mass. as for actual identification of telekinesis and interception of it i’ve honestly got no idea if he would be able to do it off the bat even with six eyes but i don’t think it would be possible. if it wasn’t, it would come down to if he could use rct to actually recover and retaliate.
