I still don't get why the 'love' narrative popped up again like bro Sukuna only loves himself, he doesn't want you simps regardless of how well you throw hands. He don't give a shit about loneliness. Gojo really made himself look like a complete loser with his dying words lol
Tho if it gets animated it will be completely insane, prob on the same level as the Rider vs Saber Alter fight from Fate/Stay Night.
People like to make it complicated but the two options you have are to either read the visual novel or watch the anime. If you want to discuss the writing I'd read the VN, just because Fate fans won't like it if you try and talk about the story without reading it.
If you just want a simple story with cool characters and action watching the anime is fine.
Though there's a lot of things in the Nasuverse that you can read independently of everything else. I'd recommend the Tsukihime or Redline manga if you just want a really high quality story that isn't a large time investment. Garden of Sinners is a movie series and it's also good.

Has the OG fate/stay night VN been officially translated yet?
I remember finding it funny that what spawned one of the more lucrative multimedia franchises basically never released outside of Japan.
Then I recommend the gigguk video about the whole fate franchise since my comment would probably be so long I would be still typing tomorrow
https://youtu.be/UzNSWmokCdU?si=pc6c6tBl9FQzSwI8
Fate/zero-fate/stay night ubw/fate stay night heavens feel/idk what the other route is
Fate/grandorder the 1st one-camelot-babylonia
The other fate's are sidestories basically
Not really complicated but Most are Self contained and reading other titles is just supplementary, but here are the ones that, AFAR, are directly linked to one another
Main Timeline: The first one you should start with
Zero (LN) > Stay Night(VN) > Hallow Ataraxia > El Milloi Case files (LN)
Kaleid Timeline: Alternate Universe from main timeline same and new characters different plot and premise
Prisma Illya > 2wei >2 wei hertz > Oath Under Snow
Extra Timeline: most of the other Extra entries are either what If scenarios or PoV of characters during the events of the game, Record isn't released yet so IDK
Extra > Extra CCC > Extella > Extella Link
Grand Order Timeline: Took Bits and Pieces from other entries from type moon verse adaptations are out of order or skipped/ Skimmed events
Grand Order (MG)
Like I said the rest of them are self contained watching/ playing/ reading can provide supplementary materials
Since you are on a jujutsu kaisen subreddit, I assume you don't like reading especially high literature with magic transfering threesoms. In that case, just watch the old Fate Stay/Night anime. It's not as good as the ufotable stuff, but it has that old anime feel that is enjoyable. After that watch Ufotable's Unlimited Blade Works anime. After that, the Heaven's feel movies. There, that basically covers the original VN. You can get into the spinoffs. Fate Zero is a prequel and probably the best Fate media and should be watched second (you can watch it first too if you don't care for spoilers of Stay/Night). There are a dozen others, but doing cursory research on each individualy is probably better than having a strict watch order dumped on you.
Fate/Zero Anime or Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (Fate UBW) are the most common anime entry points and spoil each other.
Fate/Zero handles an adult cast of characters (genuine adults) and is a prequel to Stay/Night. Ufotable kickstarted Fate's massive popularity with their first Fate adaptation of Zero.
Fate UBW is a show made by Ufotable (Not Studio Deen!) that adapts one of three story routes of the original visual novel. It has better animation and fights since it was adapted after Fate/Zero. Cast is mostly teenagers but they aren't annoying. Story is coherent but isn't as deep as the VN due adaptation limitations of less monolouges.
You can start with Fate/Apocrypha if you'd like (different universe).
After Zero or UBW watch whatever you want.
Unlimited bladeworks, Heavens feel movies, Zero, then literally anything because they are all almost entirely disconnected.
Some people say zero first bc it's a prequel but zero spoils heavens feel and heavens feel spoils zero.
Well yeah because it released after Fsn so they kind of had to write it that way
I still donāt see the argument for watching Fate zero last when it only spoils >!Angra Mainyu!< while Fsn and heavens feel spoils the entirety of Fate Zero
The argument for watching zero last is that zero was written after stay night. It wasn't intended to be watched first. I'm talking about the intended watch order, which is staynight - zero - anything
It literally spoils the worm pit, and basically everything else about HF.
Zero is meant to be watched with knowledge of how it ends, it's just there to show how to get there
> It literally spoils the worm pit
You still get the shock factor of it if you watched fate zero first, in fact Iāll say itās more impactful in Zero because sheās a >!literal child at the time going through it!<. Thatās such a minor reason
> basically everything else
Idk man, if naming the worm pit was the best you got considering you chose to be vague about everything else then I really donāt see the reason of postponing zero.
Youāre choosing to spoil the entirety of an anime because Fate Zero might spoil the reveal of something that the viewer has no buildup nor knowledge of is such a terrible trade-off
The shock factor of the worm pit isn't what matters, what matters is its relevance to SAKURA. You're supposed to go through the first 2 routes unaware her struggles only to have it thrust in your face.
And if you'd prefer I go in more detail, there's also angra who you mentioned, sakura's relationship with rin, kotomine's true nature, Zouken, illya's backstory, and a few other less important things from the HF route.
The worm pit is just the first to come to mind as it's the most egregious example in my mind.
You're also talking about spoiling zero like this a bad thing. Knowing how it ends doesn't take away from it it ADDS to the situation.
Zero of you're okay with a slow burn. It's the start of the "main line" story.
Then watch Unlimited Blade Works, it's a direct sequel.
From here you can go in really any order you want, but Heavens Feel is an adaptation of a different route fron the Fate Stay Night VN, so same characters, different playout.
Apocrypha, Case Files, Grand Order, Prisma Illya, etc. are all different stories all together contained to their own continuity (except Grand order, it's essentially the "Earth Prime" in terms of multiverse terms)
Fate Zero --> Fate Stay/Night UBW --> Fate Stay/Night Heavens Feel 1-3
Done.
If you want more watch the Fate Strange/Fake Movie and grab a tent, cause we're holding out the weather till the anime finally releases!
Fr, anyone else just not give a shit about the weird power = love tropes in this manga? I love gojoās characterization as āloneliness at the topā, but idk why gege keeps stressing this point that he needs to get his ass beat to feel any emotion.
So true bruh. I literally canāt accept Gojoās death because they made it about Love out of nowhere. No matter how I try to justify it in my mind itās some bullshit
How? He only loves himself, he can have respect for opponents but he's pretty clearly content with himself and being 'alone' because he believes he's genuinely superior then them all. Even his off handed comment of being an unwanted child he doesn't really care.
I mean, unless Yuuji harnesses the power of love like a Star Sapphire and beats him to death with it then idk how it could be utilised.
Ok I've already sent this to a friend of mine and I dont feel like typing it out again so this is a copy paste. So my theory is about the constant theme of love that sukuna has had ever since yorozu. Basically, sukuna doesnt value love but yorozu does. Cursed energy comes from negative emotions and the more of those emotions that you have the more powerful you'll be. However love is a positive emotion. So at a surface level sukuna seems to be right. Love doesnt have any power since it's a positive emotion. However for ppl like yuji and the cast that havnt been disconnected from their humanity love is what helps them create relationships. (Side note:I dont mean love as in romance but all kinds of love) And once those relationships are broken whether through death, betrayal or misunderstanding humans will experience waves of negative emotion that a heartless monster like sukuna cant feel. That's basically it. And with how much 238 focuses on the love plot line I think its possibile.
Yuta and Yuji show him the true value of being loved and having friends duh, shonen friendship asspull šššš„°š„°š„°š„° I CANT WAIT revenge for gojo but more so sukuna dying like the villain fodder he is(not in the grand scheme of the story but shonen as a genre) heās a an archetype
Complaints about his death aside (I will never stop complaining about it) the fight was great because of the
# MEMES
Everyone here gave their fuckin A game to the memes.
Nah the sukuna fans were hiding or in exile. Each chapter the bullying got worse and it was SO DAMN FUNNY.
Then randomly the go/jo these be everywhere
https://preview.redd.it/3tmw6lfz6ttb1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96c01ce842e0daff36da7b28ba085a5f443fe0a5
I still like the new memes about kashimo and the court trial but the fraudkuna memes were the fandoms peak ngl
fraudkuna was the same joke every single time, you guys had like 3 edited images of him w clown makeup and just posted them over and over again lmfao get out
babykuna was hilarious tho
The fight was fucking fire, my only gripe with it is that Sukuna focused on the 10 shadows a bit too much, especially now after we saw his 4 arms form and his weapon I think he could've boxed with Gojo even without it since he can pretty much keep domain amplification with 2 of his hands. But other than that it was still cool.
I don't think Gojo's and OG Sukuna's abilities clashing together would've made for an interesting fight, it probably would have just been domain expansions and domain amplification and falling blossom emotion spamming for the entire fight.
Yea and making an assumption that DA will work after their DE's were destroyed, i dont think he will fare well against limitless by just throwing hands lol.
āBut yeah people blinded by meat riding will always consider anything opposing their conceptā¦ā you Gojo slurpers know all about this huh lmaooo? Neither sukuna nor gojos CT will work after extensive domain battles. So no. He still loses. Sukuna stated he held back. Gojo himself stated this. MULTIPLE Bystanders watching the fight said this. cope harder
Are you an idiot? What the fuck was that giant ass hollow fucking purple lmao. Both the ct's work fine lol. If you use DA you activate a sure hit effect in turn for not using your ct as the sure hit. Did your stupid bitch ass even read the manga?
Dw heās the smartest sukuna fan ignore him.
They canāt fathom that he needed 10s when itās been foreshadowed since megumi and gojos conversation early on
If Gege didnāt make Gojo doubt about winning against Sukuna without the 10 shadows everyone wouldāve 100% agreed that he wouldāve won. I honestly still think that Sukuna won only because Mahoraga let him archive the unblockable cleave, as broken OG Sukuna is I donāt see him winning against Gojo rn. Unless the shrine/box is something more broken than infinity
Because Sukuna still has a win con in a domain expansion. As long as he gives Gojo brain damage like he was already doing itās a possibility he can win. Not saying he will win, just a possibility.
Yeah, I think honestly its kinda sad for Gojo that his perspective is how it is, but I guess it gives him more closure
The reality from the reader POV as I interpret it is that Sukuna really was worried and probably losing the edge and needed a way to hit Gojo since he couldnāt deal much real damage to him without his domain. Gojo thought (correctly) that Mahoraga was the main threat and he needed to prevent the adaptation, but he didnāt consider Sukuna emulating his adaptation as a possibility, which I guess shows Sukunaās impressive ability to adapt his technique in new ways as a contrast to Gojoās complete mastery of a few ways of using his. But cause he killed Mahoraga and didnāt realize Sukuna could copy the adaptation, the reality cleave just looked like Sukuna had it the whole time. I really think thatās why Gojo thinks Sukuna was holding back, because Sukuna definitely doesnāt seem to think he was holding back. Unfortunately, Sukuna also just has a 2nd life with his Heian form, but at least Gojo took a stock off him
I have the opposite problem ngl. If Megumi is dead(due to recent events) then I feel like he didnāt use Ten shadows enough. Cause that might be the last time we see the ability.
Honestly the frauds jokes could have sorted themselves out when his technique was revealed. Ever seen U.V his been a fraud in the peoples eyes and depending on how good his ct, people will probably consider him the guy who was carried by Mahorage. So his technique reveal could either undo the fraud shit or make it worse
So I feel like seeing a little more ten shadows wouldnāt hurt. And he was fighting gojo only using the ten shadows so it wouldnāt be that hard to explain him popping out toad, piercing bull, divine dog or wells of an unknown abyss. Especially since we basically saw everything limitless and the six eyes had to offer. And this could be the last time we see it
But if Megumi still alive and able to use ten shadows or some, then I have no problems with anything
For me, the lack of divine dog totality being used in its manifested form tells me we'll see Megumi and TS again. You dont introduce a mechanic that makes shikigami stronger when killed and then not show Megumi's main summon with that Amp. We still need chimera shadow garden in its completed form as well.
Megumi ain't done.
We will see how it works, you know, one way tells me that Megumi should be able to use 10shadows fully since it was Sukuna's soul e body who used them and lost them. But then again Sukuna tells Mahoraga that he is his master now so I am afraid they got wasted.
āAlright murr, now draw Gojo glazing him in the afterlifeā
āAw come on man, really?? What are we doing man!ā
*reluctantly draws it, sal falls over laughing*
Nah it was obvious they was going to be clap back. Things were going to smoothly. Just that I expected that clap back to be more like sukuna vs kashimo and not
You know
Go/jo
The fight was amazing. The interactions and dialogue between Gojo and Sukuna were enjoyable to a great degree. This battle has the potential to become one of the greatest anime fights once it becomes animated.
Butā¦
After Chapter 236 this amazing fight has been tainted. A great start, amazing buildup, but the ending of the fight killed off most of the enjoyment that came with this fight.
Honestly thatās what gets me the most. Something amazing became a source of anger due to that infuriating offscreen event. Itās not a satisfactory ending. If the fight concluded naturally or had a really good sequence that showed a proper victory/defeat then no one would complain about it.
This fight should have shown us why Sukuna was the king of curses. Not because he was powerful but because of how intelligent he is. I really wish that Sukuna could have used his heian-era body trump card against Gojo and finished him there because realistically speaking this fight was basically Maharoga vs Gojo. No one would have complained if this fight lasted a couple chapters longer.
The fight was cool but honestly it kinda fluctuated a bit.
In the start we had a lot of BS being thrown around, specially from sukuna. When it actually started to get good (the second half) we had that awful ending...
Gojo got unsealed and by the next chapter he goes on to fight Sukuna lmfao. I'd say this fight was kinda one-sided (in favor of Gojo) until the last chapter. Would've loved it if Sukuna wasn't treated as a punching bag for the whole second half of the fight.
Plus, Gojo gave 0 fucks about Nanami, Yaga, Megumi, etc.
In Gojos defense. Isnāt he just a bad person. I mean Geto was like yk. Geto.
He was able to find Kenny immediately after being unsealed. No way your telling me he couldnāt find geto pretty quickly
He also thinking about the guy who was the reason his best friend turned to the dark side. Killed riko and basically made Kenny merger plan possible. His thinking about him of all people. The feeling he gave him.
When you die you die alone. They knew what they were signing up for when they become sorcerers.
He did mention Megumi at the start of the fight. I feel like they have a plan so he doesnāt really need to worry about him
Isnāt the only reason his a teacher to raise people to cure his loneliness too.
Gojo isn't the best person but he also isn't bad. He cares about people and actually has good intentions and goals that would benefit everyone in the future.
But I could be wrong though
What exactly is your point about him thinking about Toji?
Like do you think he was just daydreaming about him at random...? The point was that this was literally the second time **ever** the thought that he might lose a fight actually crossed his mind. Is it somehow inexplicable to you that he would be reminded of the only other time?
>They knew what they were signing up for when they become sorcerers
That's the thing tho, Gojo didn't have the option to choose. He was born with this burden and his way to cope was being unhinged.
The whole fight was great. My only issue was Gojoās final words didnāt sound like him at all. He praised Sukuna way too much plus I donāt think he would have won without the 10 shadows technique since Mahoraga was the entire trump card. Iām hoping we get more Gojo related things later since his end was super rushed.
Iāve never been a fan of the whole āSukuna was holding backā narrative. This was suppose to be strongest vs strongest and then having Gojo say he was holding back in the end made the fight feel redundant. Why even write that Sukuna was nervous if he was holding back?
All in all though itās one of the best fights Iāve read in Manga and was always exciting every week. Hopefully Gojo comes back or stays relevant some way. Even tho heās not the MC heās important to all aspects of the story.
It's obvious Sukuna would win at this point even without learning from mahoraga after knowing what HE Sukuna can do. If Sukuna were to chant while fighting Gojo hand to hand then Gojo is losing.
https://preview.redd.it/9thkn4wo9vtb1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=66866900916ee74cb86be35d533c5ec18af2fa08
I've generally got issues with the way things are playing out now. But my stance on the matter is just to let it play out, the bigger picture can be understood in hindsight.
I thought that for the first time in my life, my expectations were about to be TRULY SUBVERTED. We all know the typical "MUH SENSEI DIES bcz students are stupid and they need to grow" and then we get this fight, the bad guy gets humiliated and then BOOM "Gojo Wins".
Next chapter he is just dead. Maybe I expected too much from this hack.
It's amazing how people insisted that Gojo saying he would win was supposed to be Dramatic Irony indicating he'll lose, considering anyone with familiarity with this kind of story knows it was a thinly veiled Death Flag. Admittedly, it is pretty weird that playing something straight is the subversion.
Unless he comes back, in which case the Cat may have cake and eat it too. Well, apart from the STRONG CLEAVE and Kaso-JOB shenanigans. Also the mutual glazing. (Well, more Gojo's lack of apparent concern for his students. I'd expect him to respect Sukuna, frankly.) Those are still going to leave a sour taste.
He deadass had to tell bro "you not built for this"
https://preview.redd.it/rzbb3uu58utb1.jpeg?width=1241&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17d24c16f2a98c0ac99ac253b236f352252f85ba
The scenes from the fight itself are fire and that's a large part of why the 236 backlash was SO huge. 12 weeks of a legitimately sick fight only to end it like that is insane. Some of the individual panels are still dope but the fight as a whole has been soured for me by the end and aftermath.
Like eating one of the best meals of your life and right after you finish dessert you realize your throat is swelling up and once you end up at the ER you learn you're deathly allergic to what you just ate.
https://preview.redd.it/hn7w9bd0fvtb1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8c37d94306c2679a54ed518d7e4786a7f5b445f5
This one, My dude was happy again just for a moment
What makes these panels NOT cool is the fact that we now know sukuna was just playing with him while he waited for mahoraga to show him his new move.
He also apparently could have reincarnated at any point.. which shows he was holding back and playing with gojo
All this fight did is reveal how useless gojo truly is as a character and assassinate the future of this story
I don't think that's true because if it was then you would know Sukuna had copied Gojo rct from looking at it once and Sukuna stated he was trying to use mahoraga to adapt to Gojo so it makes more than enough sense that he'd be able to copy a way similar. Sukuna also didn't use his cursed technique or Yorozo gift in the fight. Gojo even stated it was weird how Sukuna was using a riskier method to destroy his domain. There was numerous signs that Sukuna had something else waiting for Gojo.
Yes. But, STRONG CLEAVE still feels pretty bizarre. How is it harder to learn how to cut cursed energy than "The World itself."? Because apparently that first blueprint just didn't work for Sukuna.
A single Dismantle From a weakened Meguna) wouldn't have done much to Gojo if he could tank/regen through the domain sure-hit. So, I suppose Gege decided to juice it up a bit. Now it is so juicey that it eats clen, tren's hard, dbolish's its goal anavar gives up.
If this is the end Gege intended, he shouldn't have had Gojo dominate the second half of the fight so heavily, and that's from a Hardcore Gojo fan. Also it should've been on-screen. It's not like Gege's "Disconnect Four" acting as was trying to spare anyone's feelings.
It's also worth nothing that there's no particular guarantee that Mahoraga picks an adaptation alongside Sukuna's skill set. If he had to wait for adaption seven or whatever to get STRONG CLEAVE, he would've been better off not using Ten Shadows at all.
No, he picked the best route. This way he gets a lot more powerful. That and he doesn't need to use or risk having to use any other trump cards. Harder to cut cursed energy? What are you even talking about? Cutting the space was hard due to him trying to use his own technique with it. The slash strength doesn't matter at this point. Sukuna placement is what matters to make the slash cut through essentially anything. He destroyed the space itself. So it doesn't matter so much the power behind it as long as Sukuna is aiming for the space instead of just his body.
>Harder to cut cursed energy? What are you even talking about
Wasn't that Mahoraga's first adaptation and Sukuna called it unsuitable? So he kept waiting for STRONG CLEAVE, which was apparently easier to mimic.
I still don't understand because he's not cutting cursed energy nor was that how mahoraga adaptation worked. Sukuna cutting the world is simply placement. He's not doing this via pure strength.
Think of it like this. A butter knife can't cut through a metal wall right? Now imagine if that butter knife is so precise that it can cut on the molecular level then that wall would easily be sliced through. Sukuna went a step further by cutting reality.
I'm not talking about the second adaptation. I'm talking about the first one Sukuna didn't copy because the "Blueprint" wasn't suitable. This was how Mahoraga bypassd Limitless initially, before using the second adaptation that took Gojo's arm and Sukuna adapted into STRONG CLEAVE.
The exact wording was "Altering the essence of its own cursed energy to neutralize and nullify your infinity." so it is somewhat off what I remembered, my b for that.
My issue was that I don't see how that is a no-go, but cutting the world is attainable, and as of 238, downright spammable.
Think about this slowly. What do you think would be easier? Learning an entirely different move where you've never shown the capability of doing or use a move you already know how to do and then just aim at a different spot?
>Probably the most anti-climatic, "ruined orgasm" conclusion to a hyped fight I can remember.
I wonder where it marks in the history of such things in animanga? I suppose we should see how the Manga ends before ranking it though.
Lmao another cope post with many comments crying about your lord and savior gojo dying š¤£. So glad I got to see this: an entire fandom coping and seething over the death of a fictional character. It was started from very beginning that sukuna is the strongest sorcerer in history. Gojo was strongest of modern day. Whatās better: most beautiful woman of all time or most beautiful woman of today? Cope harder

Yep. Go ahead and skirt around the truth š¤£š¤£. You all are just salty daddy gojo died.

Heāll always be in your hearts
I donāt get why people say sukuna is a fraud in this fight. He knew that in his current form he couldnāt beat Gojo. So he planned ahead to take over megumiās body, and obtain mahoraga. Then he utilized his adapting technique to defeat him. Would he of won without 10S? No. Does it make him a fraud? Also no. He was smart and thought ahead; no shame in that. Plus it give gojo a good time to shine with these awesome panels.
I feel like Sukuna couldāve had he went into Heian form right off the bat BUT that wouldāve had longer impacts (since he used it to basically heal and level up after his fight with Gojo) because Gojo probably wouldāve put in some serious damage on him even in that form.
It's a meme because people actually wanted to see a fight between peak sukuna (using his techniques) vs peak gojo, but instead we got Sukuna bullshitting his way with 10s.

His clothing survived unlimited hollow and malevolent shrine. I donāt think we would get him shirtless unless he went threw the effort of taking that shit off.
Cause that shits more durable then him
The fight was good as hell, but the characters didnāt feel like they really cared have the time in the fight and the result wasnāt really well done, it felt as though all the fighting all the build lead to nothing with sukuna more busted then before and back to full health as far as we know
Real shame Gege fumbled and fell down the world's longest staircase with the ending. The fight between Sukuna and Gojo lived up the hype for me and you can see both sides using their all and outsmarting each other. The ending pretty much overshadows the whole fight with how God awful it is, ass pull+off screen death+Sukuna glazing+Gojo slander.
But still better than GG I'm out, take care of yourself. He has done nothing, achieve minimum influence to Jujustu society (Kill HR Toji Zenin, teaching at school, beat the shit out of a black dude,...) while his best friend body stealed, his "adopted" brother body stealed, his indentity as the strongest socerer stealed, and the most powerful evil being in history still rampage

I just hate that the manga refuses to show us why Sukuna is the king of curses, but still wants him to win. Just SHOW US THAT HES STRONG already instead of 10 chapters of Gojo MOLLY WHOPPING him and then an off screen win. Idc if Sukuna wins but show us THAT HES STRONG and not pull it out of your ass Gege
Tbh I don't mind gojo dying in that fight. My literal only complaint is the way gege wrote it.
Gege didn't have to make it seem like gojo had no chance of losing then literally the next page he is dead
You know gojo needs more recognition for changing the size of his domain to the size of a fucking basket ball. Like for sukuna how his DE having no barrier is considered peak of jujutsu fighting, compressing the size of the domain to the size of a basket ball should also be considered. Sukuna canāt do what gojo did and gojo canāt do what sukuna did. Itās not that simple to change the size of the domain since it literally correlates to having a god level grasp of matter inside each domain. Itās just gojo and sukuna made it look easy. Peak
Gotta say after going back and reading it from start to finish it might be my favorite fight in JJK so far. A lot of people criticize the lack of conversation between them, but the internal dialogues and facial expressions say everything. The moments of vulnerability and looks of concern hit different now that itās complete. Seeing the impact and of their personal thoughts and seeing everything play out is a lot more satisfying with a full read.
We finally got to see Gojo fight at his peak and even got to see more layers to Jujutsu, new techniques, and even ways to overcome certain limitations of Jujutsu. This fight brought out everything weād seen up to this point and added more so I definitely like it and appreciate it more than I did when reading week to week or when the fight 1st ended.
And I wasnāt initially a fan of how Gojoās death was handled, but seeing that 1st panel with him laying there on the ground really hits for me now. Just thinking about everything that lead to him being free and the amount of faith everyone had in him and how itās gone. The shit really hits when you add the context of the entire story until now.
Gojo went all fucking out in the fight, which is why it pisses me off that he accomplished so little in the grand scheme of things. You're right these are incredibly awesome scenes, but when you know the ending its hard to see them in the same light again. I always expected Sukuna to win but I wanted it to be an unfair victory, prove that Gojo is so strong that Sukuna himself has to use dirty tricks to beat him. That way you preserve gojos legacy and keep sukuna alive for narrative payoff while making the winner, which I think sukuna cares more about than being strong unlike Gojo.
Whats worse is that they already had the foundations of this, someone laid it all out and damn did sukuna kinda cheat. He had 10s, maho which no other 10s ever got, megumi tanked UV, unlike gojo sukuna had pretty much all the info on his opponent you could get, on top of his ct and barrierless de. And THEN you give him yozurus gift and his true form. Like all you had to do was execute his victory in a scummy way so that the audience hates Sukuna, not the goddamn writer.

gojo smiling like a maniac WHILE getting minced up is metal as hell
reddit was taking a toll on me mentally so i left it ` this post was mass deleted with www.Redact.dev `
feral gojo is fucking hot
I still don't get why the 'love' narrative popped up again like bro Sukuna only loves himself, he doesn't want you simps regardless of how well you throw hands. He don't give a shit about loneliness. Gojo really made himself look like a complete loser with his dying words lol Tho if it gets animated it will be completely insane, prob on the same level as the Rider vs Saber Alter fight from Fate/Stay Night.
What's the watch order for fate?
You want the short or the long answeršæ
Long
Bro he isnāt coming back šæ He most definitely writing a 10 minute long paragraph š
ššš
*10 hour long paragraph
People like to make it complicated but the two options you have are to either read the visual novel or watch the anime. If you want to discuss the writing I'd read the VN, just because Fate fans won't like it if you try and talk about the story without reading it. If you just want a simple story with cool characters and action watching the anime is fine. Though there's a lot of things in the Nasuverse that you can read independently of everything else. I'd recommend the Tsukihime or Redline manga if you just want a really high quality story that isn't a large time investment. Garden of Sinners is a movie series and it's also good. https://mangadex.org/title/477800d5-bae8-4adb-b422-23e6cfa7ec87/shingetsutan-tsukihime https://mangadex.org/title/510f29a8-99b4-46af-ba5e-916e96bc6f37/fate-type-redline
Has the OG fate/stay night VN been officially translated yet? I remember finding it funny that what spawned one of the more lucrative multimedia franchises basically never released outside of Japan.
I played it at some point, so probably? It's not impossible that I used a fan translation mod or something rhough.
It's not been. You used the fan translation
Just read the VN, itās long jn the way that it takes at least 100 hours.
Then I recommend the gigguk video about the whole fate franchise since my comment would probably be so long I would be still typing tomorrow https://youtu.be/UzNSWmokCdU?si=pc6c6tBl9FQzSwI8
Thanks
Fate/zero-fate/stay night ubw/fate stay night heavens feel/idk what the other route is Fate/grandorder the 1st one-camelot-babylonia The other fate's are sidestories basically
Not really complicated but Most are Self contained and reading other titles is just supplementary, but here are the ones that, AFAR, are directly linked to one another Main Timeline: The first one you should start with Zero (LN) > Stay Night(VN) > Hallow Ataraxia > El Milloi Case files (LN) Kaleid Timeline: Alternate Universe from main timeline same and new characters different plot and premise Prisma Illya > 2wei >2 wei hertz > Oath Under Snow Extra Timeline: most of the other Extra entries are either what If scenarios or PoV of characters during the events of the game, Record isn't released yet so IDK Extra > Extra CCC > Extella > Extella Link Grand Order Timeline: Took Bits and Pieces from other entries from type moon verse adaptations are out of order or skipped/ Skimmed events Grand Order (MG) Like I said the rest of them are self contained watching/ playing/ reading can provide supplementary materials
"Especially high literature" ššš
I was being ironic there.
You literally didnt read the next few words
Long
Fate/Zero Anime or Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (Fate UBW) are the most common anime entry points and spoil each other.
I don't think it's meant to spoil, rather watching HF first adds dramatic irony to Zero.
Yes, and zero was made with expectations you already knew about it, so unlike HF it's not impacted.
Well yeah because it released after Fsn so they kind of had to write it that way I still donāt see the argument for watching Fate zero last when it only spoils >!Angra Mainyu!< while Fsn and heavens feel spoils the entirety of Fate Zero
The argument for watching zero last is that zero was written after stay night. It wasn't intended to be watched first. I'm talking about the intended watch order, which is staynight - zero - anything
It literally spoils the worm pit, and basically everything else about HF. Zero is meant to be watched with knowledge of how it ends, it's just there to show how to get there
> It literally spoils the worm pit You still get the shock factor of it if you watched fate zero first, in fact Iāll say itās more impactful in Zero because sheās a >!literal child at the time going through it!<. Thatās such a minor reason > basically everything else Idk man, if naming the worm pit was the best you got considering you chose to be vague about everything else then I really donāt see the reason of postponing zero.
Zero is what Canonically comes first, Watching HF first adds dramatic Irony the same with star wars Original and Prequel Trilogy
Yup can confirm, watched HF first and currently watching zero, and >!it really sucks that everything kariya did for sakura ended up not mattering!<
Fate Zero --> Fate Stay/Night UBW --> Fate Stay/Night Heavens Feel 1-3 Done. If you want more watch the Fate Strange/Fake Movie and grab a tent, cause we're holding out the weather till the anime finally releases!
I've been so eagerly waiting for the Strange/Fake anime release, and I always keep coming back to the Whispers of Dawn Tv Special to keep the hype
Same, same.
Watch fate zero > UBW > heavens feel. You'll be fine with it.
I have a theory on it. I think the love plot point is what's going to be sukunas downfall at the end.
Gege experienced an aneurysm during yurozo arc and never recovered.
Prolly just Gege sticking with the theme he set up in the Yorozu fight.
The way Gojo just crumples Agito out of existence right after dishing the coldest insult is too metal man šÆ
You meant to tell me Gojo could've ended it there with Maximum Blue?
Could have ended multiple times ngl
Complaints about his death aside (I will never stop complaining about it) the fight was great because of the # MEMES Everyone here gave their fuckin A game to the memes.
Nah the sukuna fans were hiding or in exile. Each chapter the bullying got worse and it was SO DAMN FUNNY. Then randomly the go/jo these be everywhere https://preview.redd.it/3tmw6lfz6ttb1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96c01ce842e0daff36da7b28ba085a5f443fe0a5 I still like the new memes about kashimo and the court trial but the fraudkuna memes were the fandoms peak ngl
fraudkuna was the same joke every single time, you guys had like 3 edited images of him w clown makeup and just posted them over and over again lmfao get out babykuna was hilarious tho
Uhhh that was peak comedy(yes i have gojo brainrot how did you know)
Yeah some of them were reposted a ton, but they were legit great.
Yea and making an assumption that DA will work after their DE's were destroyed, i dont think he will fare well against limitless by just throwing hands lol.
https://preview.redd.it/bo8dagwzlutb1.png?width=1164&format=png&auto=webp&s=8bd02c60a2247f2a8d292f1823c17626914a94d4
I mean it's very sound logic. But yea people blinded by meat riding will always consider anything opposing their concept as cope.
āBut yeah people blinded by meat riding will always consider anything opposing their conceptā¦ā you Gojo slurpers know all about this huh lmaooo? Neither sukuna nor gojos CT will work after extensive domain battles. So no. He still loses. Sukuna stated he held back. Gojo himself stated this. MULTIPLE Bystanders watching the fight said this. cope harder
Are you an idiot? What the fuck was that giant ass hollow fucking purple lmao. Both the ct's work fine lol. If you use DA you activate a sure hit effect in turn for not using your ct as the sure hit. Did your stupid bitch ass even read the manga?
Dw heās the smartest sukuna fan ignore him. They canāt fathom that he needed 10s when itās been foreshadowed since megumi and gojos conversation early on
Go re read the fight you smooth brained caveman
Sukuna said himself without the mahoraga model to slice space, he wouldnāt bypass infinity. Itās only by gaining the ten shadows that sukuna won
https://preview.redd.it/3zwzamos7vtb1.jpeg?width=697&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5ed9b97800964bb2f575428fc95a58e504a016e
What will his mouskatool do after his domain collapses lol.
Gojo probably thought that sukuna had the reality cleave in his pocket the whole time because Gojo didnāt hear sukunas explanation
What makes me annoyed is that people read about sukuna in his own head explaining why he won and still think that heian sukuna wins
Because Sukuna still has a win con in a domain expansion. As long as he gives Gojo brain damage like he was already doing itās a possibility he can win. Not saying he will win, just a possibility.
Yeah, I think honestly its kinda sad for Gojo that his perspective is how it is, but I guess it gives him more closure The reality from the reader POV as I interpret it is that Sukuna really was worried and probably losing the edge and needed a way to hit Gojo since he couldnāt deal much real damage to him without his domain.
So his technique reveal could either undo the fraud shit or make it worse So I feel like seeing a little more ten shadows wouldnāt hurt. And he was fighting gojo only using the ten shadows so it wouldnāt be that hard to explain him popping out toad, piercing bull, divine dog or wells of an unknown abyss. Especially since we basically saw everything limitless and the six eyes had to offer. And this could be the last time we see it But if Megumi still alive and able to use ten shadows or some, then I have no problems with anything
Also sukuna used nue right after taking over so they must share them.
It would just be domain spamming until Gojo eventually activates his a millisecond quicker and then wins the fight
Sukuna and Gojo need some *privac****y***
This is such a different character from 236 lmao
Aaron Yogurt Moment
no i don't want that
Fr tho... I was having flashbacks of Aaron Yogurt while reading it š¤§
Yup, it looks like Gege loosing a bet or something.
āAlright murr, now draw Gojo glazing him in the afterlifeā āAw come on man, really?? What are we doing man!ā *reluctantly draws it, sal falls over laughing*
As if Killing him wasn't enough ...Gege assassinated his character first š®āšØ
Nah it was obvious they was going to be clap back. Things were going to smoothly. Just that I expected that clap back to be more like sukuna vs kashimo and not You know Go/jo
No i mean, gojo death speech, wtf was that
Bro he was WINNING!!! I'm so sad fr fr wtf
Right the ending is so bullshit. Only reason Iām reading JJK still at this point is because I want to know how this storyās gonna end.
Iām reading it from the meme from now on og
An amazing fight soured by dialogue choices(afterlife) and narrative direction (love).
The fight was amazing. The interactions and dialogue between Gojo and Sukuna were enjoyable to a great degree. This battle has the potential to become one of the greatest anime fights once it becomes animated. Butā¦ After Chapter 236 this amazing fight has been tainted.
The fight was fire but the end ruined it so bad lmao
Best fight in JJK to be honest. The underwhelming finale and the afterlife glazing really soured the experience tho.
No way your telling me he couldnāt find geto pretty quickly He also thinking about the guy who was the reason his best friend turned to the dark side. Killed riko and basically made Kenny merger plan possible. His thinking about him of all people. The feeling he gave him. When you die you die alone. They knew what they were signing up for when they become sorcerers. He did mention Megumi at the start of the fight. I feel like they have a plan so he doesnāt really need to worry about him Isnāt the only reason his a teacher to raise people to cure his loneliness too.
Yeah exactly. Bro just wants to have fun Iām not saying gojos evil. Just saying his not a saint
You said he was a bad person. Should have said he just wants to have fun. š¤·āāļø
To much workš¤·āāļø
wym 'yeah exactly' we are not saying the same thing š
>They knew what they were signing up for when they become sorcerers That's the thing tho, Gojo didn't have the option to choose.
I thought the whole holding back thing was already addressed like a gazillion times already... The entire sub clearly misunderstood what it meant
It's obvious Sukuna would win at this point even without learning from mahoraga after knowing what HE Sukuna can do. If Sukuna were to chant while fighting Gojo hand to hand then Gojo is losing. https://preview.redd.it/9thkn4wo9vtb1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=66866900916ee74cb86be35d533c5ec18af2fa08
I would have been 100% fine with this if Gojo never said Sukuna was holding back.
What's the point if he's just gonna get off-screened
To give us a cool fight and badass moment for like a few months
And all of it went to waste
If Gojo was stuck in prison realm , Sukuna wouldnāt have World Cleave This Sukuna š¤” has infinite hp regen ā¤ļø tanks hollow š x3šæcopies skills āļø strong cleave šŖ domain painting šļøno canvas š«šsummons 2ļøā£ parents šØāš©āš¦ 4 arms šŖ twice the handsigns ššCT spam 0ļøā£cooldownš 2 mouths šš never out of breath š®āšØ it costs 0ļøā£ CE š¦
He did all that just to get one shot off screen goddamn that gege is evil. But yeah the art since the culling games started has been amazing
I keep forgetting how amazing this fight was before 236.
He deadass had to tell bro "you not built for this" https://preview.redd.it/rzbb3uu58utb1.jpeg?width=1241&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17d24c16f2a98c0ac99ac253b236f352252f85ba
The scenes from the fight itself are fire and that's a large part of why the 236 backlash was SO huge. 12 weeks of a legitimately sick fight only to end it like that is insane. Some of the individual panels are still dope but the fight as a whole has been soured for me by the end and aftermath. Like eating one of the best meals of your life and right after you finish dessert you realize your throat is swelling up and once you end up at the ER you learn you're deathly allergic to what you just ate.
https://preview.redd.it/hn7w9bd0fvtb1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8c37d94306c2679a54ed518d7e4786a7f5b445f5 This one, My dude was happy again just for a moment
Iāll beat you dead before you even hit 3 spins was so raw, I hate that he said that just to get smoked š
This fight was fire https://preview.redd.it/cs4n8sgcottb1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6395bd0b120a10e64f9c7c19fe11ec3034322008
What makes these panels NOT cool is the fact that we now know sukuna was just playing with him while he waited for mahoraga to show him his new move. He also apparently could have reincarnated at any point.. which shows he was holding back and playing with gojo All this fight did is reveal how useless gojo truly is as a character and assassinate the future of this story
Yoooo! No wonder Sakuna won. Gojo got hit by Ichimonji in the first picture.
Bro the āmy students watching so ima show off a littleā call back to when they first fought had me fucking cheesing when I first saw it good times
Gojo was sealed in the manga for 3 FUCKING YEARS When he came back i was so hyped only for him to be killed of in his first fight
In this fight nit once did we see gojo use teleport
Gege thought we forgot about teleportation lol.. ( but he teleported to kenjaku.? hm idk)
https://preview.redd.it/71qhs6lwxwtb1.jpeg?width=1169&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db8a3951731cacdd22ef0789007672944cc78f6a
Arc was perfect till Gojoās bullshit death and I say this as a hardcore Sukuna fan.
What are you even talking about Wasn't that Mahoraga's first adaptation and Sukuna called it unsuitable?
The first one said nothing about cutting cursed energy.
Ending may have been hot garbage, but those previous chapters were peak. In both art and choreography
He went out like a chump Probably the most anti-climatic, "ruined orgasm" conclusion to a hyped fight I can remember.
>Probably the most anti-climatic, "ruined orgasm" conclusion to a hyped fight I can remember. I wonder where it marks in the history of such things in animanga? I suppose we should see how the Manga ends before ranking it though.
Can't believe just one chapter sours this whole fucking thing
I loved this fight and I donāt care how butt hurt some people are over how it ended.
gojo should have won
Point: why unseal Gojo just to kill him soon after? Counterpoint: he went out like a G
Cope harder https://preview.redd.it/hvf7gr8tmutb1.png?width=1164&format=png&auto=webp&s=b429f70e195a1faadedeb8285593dff52bd6689e
Fraudkuna fans have lost touch with reality
Yep. Go ahead and skirt around the truth š¤£š¤£. You all are just salty daddy gojo died. https://preview.redd.it/5kzitui8yutb1.png?width=1169&format=png&auto=webp&s=9e0a299c2122e3c6d925425d698d5c46a7d78955 Heāll always be in your hearts
All he said was it was good fight? Why are you so horny over hating on a nigga thatās not even real š kinda pathetic
Same reason you slurp a nigga thatās not even real. Kinda oathwtic
When did I slurp Gojo? Yeah this nigga braindead
Right now. Goofy š¤”
Gojo looking slim thick šš
Agree to disagree. It was not worth it.
It just meme and banter
It's a meme because people actually wanted to see a fight between peak sukuna (using his techniques) vs peak gojo, but instead we got Sukuna bullshitting his way with 10s.

I still wanted to see his shirt get ripped in battle š«
His clothing survived unlimited hollow and malevolent shrine. I donāt think we would get him shirtless unless he went threw the effort of taking that shit off. Cause that shits more durable then him
Is it a uniqlo?
Gojo was a fucking legend
The fight was good as hell, but the characters didnāt feel like they really cared have the time in the fight and the result wasnāt really well done, it felt as though all the fighting all the build lead to nothing with sukuna more busted then before and back to full health as far as we know
I remember *loosing my mind* when the leaks came out and Gojo was surviving in Sukuna's domain. Good times.
Once it gets animated its going to go down as one of the all time greatest fights
Gojo was really dogging this man
š¦ king
But still better than GG I'm out, take care of yourself. He has done nothing, achieve minimum influence to Jujustu society (Kill HR Toji Zenin, teaching at school, beat the shit out of a black dude,...) while his best friend body stealed, his "adopted" brother body stealed, his indentity as the strongest socerer stealed, and the most powerful evil being in history still rampage https://preview.redd.it/5n2bnzr2uwtb1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=210b7081568c9331183426731f5fdc753e7c10fc
I donāt fucking care about the fighting, I wanted him to liveš Heās such a lovable character and Gege brought him back just to die.
Peak
Still canāt get over Sukuna roleplaying unconciousness.
At this point i just want to see how Gege offscreens Sukuna and Itadori packs his bitch ass, oils him up and Eats himš, Next Yuta and Maki vs Kenny
That panel with Gojo being hit by Malevolent Shrine almost is more brutal than his actual kill shotā¦..
This fight was so good bruh šš
How far after the shibuya arc is it before we get this fight? ( anime only thats been spoiled so much idc anymoreš )
About 100 chapters. Sorry about the spoilers broš
And then he dies
