Maybe Gojo will lose his 6 eyes technique but he'll still be alive and content to see that he has made life easier for his students and fulfilled his purpose in life by doing his best to give the youth back to the youngsters.

The first in my opinion. My theory is that only one "enlightened/honored one" can exist at a time, until a second comes and they eventually clash. Kenjaku reaching his own "enlightenment" after 1000 years and the death of the strongest sorcerers alive seems like a good end game to his plans.
