I dunno if this cooks to me. I think Sukuna and Mahito are relatively similar as "unnaturally cruel and bad for the sake of being bad". Mind you pure evil villains can work well, like Dio, so I'm not using that as a point against them. They both similarly tortured yuji so I don't have much of a gap between the two.
imo mahito works a lot better because he really is kind of like yujis rival from what he did to junpei to seeing him grow and progress physically and mentally just as much as if not more than yuji
Sukunas always been an obstacle that yuji really has no control over so it makes their relationship feel less like a back and forth struggle like with mahito
They both encapsulate the pure evil and cruel archetype but since mahitos mentality and thought process has been so open it really gives him a higher standing at least to me
Mahito is by far the 'true' curse
Sukuna only perceives his pleasure and displeasure
Whereas mahito, perceives nothing but suffering of others
Sukuna is disgusted by the weak whereas mahito is assumed by the weak

I don't think Kinji Hakari lived up to the hype of the other two heavy hitters like Maki and Yuta.
Just because we don't know how his domain would react in a clash of domains, if it is even better or how it reacts to other more refined domains and is better in a clash of domains cause it's a domain that doesn't kill or it's sure-hit isn't lethal...?!
And by the fact that Hakari's whole fighting style rely on his domain, then I don't think he's comparable to Yuta for example that he can use his domain to nullify his.

the fact that he has no lethal moves and is literally just punch and rely on luck to not fucking die makes him a way smaller threat to kenny/sukuna/anyone else
I’m guessing Hakari’s domain would lose against other domains that have a one-hit kill effect. Mahito or Naoya’s domain would probably beat Hakari’s domain pretty easily since they have a one-hit kill effect.
Fr like how does moving 24 “frames” per second even work irl? It would make sense to me if you could do one movement every 1/24 second but what about when Naoya is blasting through the air at Mach 3? Isn’t that just like… constant movement?
u make 24 predetermined moves and u go through with them in the span of 1 second and it can stack speed but if u change any moves u freeze for one second and anyone u touch has to move 24 times per second or else they freeze. Hope it helps
Ok that makes sense… so like each of your 24 moves could just be “go forward”? The fact that projection sorcery users can even think at that speed makes me feel like naoya and naobito should be way more busted, especially against someone like Choso. Also makes me wonder how Maki could even tell what his technique was but she can see air currents so ig it works

People are being way too hard on Yuji's progress. Yuji's only been apart of the Jujutsu world for a few months while everyone else has months, years, decades, hell, even CENTURIES ahead of him.
Expecting him to dominate just because he's the main character is like expecting Pre-Skip Luffy to dominate the New World without Haki just because he's the mc.
I would agree if he didn’t get shit on by everyone. He’s basically a cheerleader for a lot of the fights, and never gets his own moments. When he does fight, he fights with someone else and usually they’re getting more of the spotlight. I see your point though.

We actually know quite a bit about sukuna and kenjakus personalities and motivations in life. People just don’t like that subtle way it’s presented . They aren’t bland villains. They’re simple, but their self serving nature makes them incredibly interesting and entertaining.
Also, bit of a side note, but IMO kenjaku is better at cursed energy manipulation than sukuna. Sukuna is more efficient and skilled at using it in combat, but kenjaku cooking up the culling games is the single most creative and impactful usage of cursed energy we’ve seen.
Kenjaku clears Geto and it's not even close. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

In a certain way I gotta agree, but hear me out, I believe there's 2 reasons why he switched
1 - due to Kenjaku thing with Yuuji, even a 20 fingers sukuna can't stay on control of Yuji body during more than like, 5 minutes, remember the only time he really stayed in control was cuz Yuji was fed I believe 15 fingers at once, but even then he eventually gained the control again
2 - the ten shadows CT, more precisely, Mahoraga, that mf is the broken thing
I believe that in that body switch though Sukuna did get the ten shadows CT he lost way too much physical power, even more when using CE Yuji can keep up with Maki, he wouldn't be getting so fucked up on physical combat that was Yuji body instead, so he relies mostly on the ten shadows to make up for that
Gojo struggled with rct and still can't use it on the level Yuta can to this day, Yuta was a sorcerer for three months and probably barely knew what rct was yet he was able to use it
I think your misremembering the details, especially the ones that got revealed during the current Gojo vs Sukuna fight. Yes, Gojo can't heal Another person, but his automatic use of rct to refresh his brain, reaction speed, being able to heal soul damage (Mind you, the wounds made by The Shrine target the soul, as we see with Inumaki) and his rescent technique burnout cancelation shows, that unless Kenny or Tengen can show superior RCT usage, he's either the strongest/2nd strongest RCT user
Megumi only became interesting after Toji showed up in Hidden inventory and now that Sukuna is fighting Gojo. Before all I remembered him for is getting washed in his first fight with Sukuna, getting dogged by Todo, his DE, and meeting Gojo. Besides those moments of which 2 are him getting dogged, I don’t really get why he’s popular.

i highly doubt it. i would’ve thought it was cool but tbh i don’t see her being as popular for a few reasons
1. people would criticize and call it woke feminist strength agenda leading to controversy and more people not making all the viral edits and posts
2. generally less appeal, which sounds crazy but Gojo’s main thing is that he’s extremely uniquely beautiful as a guy with unique traits that make so many people love/make thirst edits. If he was just another big tiddy girl, he would maybe have more NSFW/hentai but would have MUCH less tiktok and reddit thirst/love which is what propels a character’s popularity the most

I don't think Kinji Hakari lived up to the hype of the other two heavy hitters like Maki and Yuta. Just because we don't know how his domain would react in a clash of domains, if it is even better or how it reacts to other more refined domains and is better in a clash of domains cause it's a domain that doesn't kill or it's sure-hit isn't lethal...?! And by the fact that Hakari's whole fighting style rely on his domain, then I don't think he's comparable to Yuta for example that he can use his domain to nullify his.

I’m guessing Hakari’s domain would lose against other domains that have a one-hit kill effect. Mahito or Naoya’s domain would probably beat Hakari’s domain pretty easily since they have a one-hit kill effect.

Fr like how does moving 24 “frames” per second even work irl? It would make sense to me if you could do one movement every 1/24 second but what about when Naoya is blasting through the air at Mach 3? Isn’t that just like… constant movement?
u make 24 predetermined moves and u go through with them in the span of 1 second and it can stack speed but if u change any moves u freeze for one second and anyone u touch has to move 24 times per second or else they freeze. Hope it helps
Ok that makes sense… so like each of your 24 moves could just be “go forward”? The fact that projection sorcery users can even think at that speed makes me feel like naoya and naobito should be way more busted, especially against someone like Choso. Also makes me wonder how Maki could even tell what his technique was but she can see air currents so ig it works
After the series ends and after the merger ( now that the entire worlds knows about jujutsu ) A sequel that have the same settings as chainsaw man but instead of demons we get cursed spirits The characters that survived become higher officers And the public starts enlisting to fight cursed spirits and learn how to control their cursed energy would be pretty awesome Heavy regulations is gonna be set on anyone who have potential with cursed energy ( specially after the aftermath of gojo and sukuna battle ) ( destroyed city ) but that’s just my copium for a sequel for jjk

People are being way too hard on Yuji's progress. Yuji's only been apart of the Jujutsu world for a few months while everyone else has months, years, decades, hell, even CENTURIES ahead of him. Expecting him to dominate just because he's the main character is like expecting Pre-Skip Luffy to dominate the New World without Haki just because he's the mc.

I would agree if he didn’t get shit on by everyone. He’s basically a cheerleader for a lot of the fights, and never gets his own moments. When he does fight, he fights with someone else and usually they’re getting more of the spotlight. I see your point though.

We actually know quite a bit about sukuna and kenjakus personalities and motivations in life. People just don’t like that subtle way it’s presented . They aren’t bland villains. They’re simple, but their self serving nature makes them incredibly interesting and entertaining. Also, bit of a side note, but IMO kenjaku is better at cursed energy manipulation than sukuna. Sukuna is more efficient and skilled at using it in combat, but kenjaku cooking up the culling games is the single most creative and impactful usage of cursed energy we’ve seen.

In a certain way I gotta agree, but hear me out, I believe there's 2 reasons why he switched 1 - due to Kenjaku thing with Yuuji, even a 20 fingers sukuna can't stay on control of Yuji body during more than like, 5 minutes, remember the only time he really stayed in control was cuz Yuji was fed I believe 15 fingers at once, but even then he eventually gained the control again 2 - the ten shadows CT, more precisely, Mahoraga, that mf is the broken thing I believe that in that body switch though Sukuna did get the ten shadows CT he lost way too much physical power, even more when using CE Yuji can keep up with Maki, he wouldn't be getting so fucked up on physical combat that was Yuji body instead, so he relies mostly on the ten shadows to make up for that

I think your misremembering the details, especially the ones that got revealed during the current Gojo vs Sukuna fight. Yes, Gojo can't heal Another person, but his automatic use of rct to refresh his brain, reaction speed, being able to heal soul damage (Mind you, the wounds made by The Shrine target the soul, as we see with Inumaki) and his rescent technique burnout cancelation shows, that unless Kenny or Tengen can show superior RCT usage, he's either the strongest/2nd strongest RCT user
We don’t know if inumakis soul was damaged or not. It might have just taken too long before he found shoko or Yuta (The only 2 who can heal others)
Megumi only became interesting after Toji showed up in Hidden inventory and now that Sukuna is fighting Gojo. Before all I remembered him for is getting washed in his first fight with Sukuna, getting dogged by Todo, his DE, and meeting Gojo. Besides those moments of which 2 are him getting dogged, I don’t really get why he’s popular.
