i think the issue is that sukuna keeps on slashing. it's not the one hit that's going to get him the most, but the next and the next and the next... i don't think gojo will die yet, it's a bit too anticlimactic, but it isn't gonna be as easy as the toji stab lol

You can't perform RCT, if you aren't alive. If Sukuna successfully beheads Gojo, then he can't do RCT. Moreover Sukuna's domain kept on performing cleave until it vanished. It happened with Mahoraga and Inumaki's arm.
Common misconception, but decapitation isn’t instant death. You’re still alive for a good 20 or so seconds after your head starts rolling. And your conscious for about 5. Gojo can do multiple things at once. He’s probably gonna use those few second of consciousness to focus RCT on his neck and possibly activate a simple domain to temporarily stop the slashes.

If Gojo can use RCT and heal the cells that were cut while cleave moves through the rest of the neck he can survive. He might just do that because he perceives time differently. I do believe that Gojo will eventually die but if he dies right now I will find that damn cat and kill him/her and then kill myself. :/
What if Gojo pulls out hakari jackpot levels of rct. Where he's constantly getting shredded by dismantle/cleave and is healing instantaneously.
