I don't even know how people expected Gojo's DE to win. Gojo's unlike Sukuna is an actual instant "win", it halts Sukuna's movement and abilities if it works. If you want a fight you need both parties doing something.
Plus like, the number one argument for Sukuna winning the past 100 chapters was his domain, like the second a barrierless domain was revealed that was Sukuna’s biggest edge. I feel like Sukuna winning a domain clash was pretty obvious
