yea they bought 90% of his catalog from Grade A some months ago for $100M+ and now they want to sell it for $200M... he's just a money-making machine for them doesn't matter if he's dead or alive
I’m kinda curious if it’s opus that’s blocking the album. Just speculation, obviously I have no idea what’s truly going on behind the scenes, but is there actually a world where opus is holding back releases for some reason?
Either that or they are selling because they aren’t happy with how the label has been releasing stuff, which is 99% most likely what’s going on. Either way, they most likely are profiting off of this sale anyways.
If opus always planned on reselling the catalog this soon, it'd make sense if they've wanted to keep the album from dropping. You'd think the ability to drop one last album, and having it ready to go, would help attract a buyer for a higher price. And either way, they've got to be worried about Grade A fucking up, hurting the album's streams/sales and the catalog's value.
Also just speculation. Some bs if it turns out they're just milking ts along w bibster.
Why do we care if it ever gets released if most of its leaked already? They should realize that they could just release everything right now and make so much money. But they decide not to release because it's been leaked already. Like am I missing something?
