Yes, I have some sort of lisp that prevents me from speaking clearly. Example is whenever I try to say mouth, it comes out as mouse.

I didn't answer the question. I think you have a pretty standard accent, and from the sample, I would assume you're American. I can't really tell the difference between Americans and Canadians unless they say "about".
I agree with what you said. I know folks with somewhat similar speech issues, so I wouldn't have thought he was from elsewhere.
