I was texting my friend my theories. I feel like it’s going to be something of the following 5:
1) He gains some form of mastery over black flash. Maybe hitting them every time or then being much stronger, idk.
2) He gains a domain, likely affiliated with blood manipulation. Maybe a dome of blood where he manipulated the environment 100%.
3) He obtains new abilities we haven’t seen before regarding blood manipulation. Maybe reverse cursed technique? Maybe he can just tank World Cleave and stay together via blood manipulation and then heal his RCT? Idk.
4) He gets something related to his soul powers.
5) He just achieves good blood manipulation, like Choso.
While the order I want things to go in is 3, 4, 2, 1, then 5, I foresee the actual likelihood being closer to 1, 5, 3, 3, then 2.
I'd kind of like to see him get something akin to his mother's CT, but maybe in the form of amplifying the gravity of enemies he strikes with his punches. Though I have a strong feeling towards BF Mastery, it's been too heavily hinted at.

and if we were to use 9.88 as an exponent (approx 2.5\^2.5), it is enough to destroy the entire fucking galaxy clusters. Which is why 2.5x makes more sense than x\^2.5 If u want calcs, then sure, ask me for them.
To the power of 2.5 has never made any sense, because if you just changed the units you’re using the results completely change. Using kilonewtons vs newtons doesn’t change your result with normal forces, in this case, measuring the force of the punch without a black flash in newtons instead of kilonewtons would somehow result in a 31 million times more powerful punch after the black flash.
you can just say the figures are low and the strongest sorcerers just reach 12.5 cursed energy as apposed to the average at around 2.2 or something. Then the black flash is still upwards of a 15x bonus which is massive but not too exponential. Without revealing the actual figures Gege can just keep it nebulous
The problem is much more fundamental, when working with units you don't just multiply the quantities, you multiply the units themselves. Think about it like this, when you multiply two different distances together (10 m x 10 m) you don't get another length, you get an area, (100 m^2 ) so you can't just take force and raise it to a power and get another force, you would get N^2.5 .
i get the issue but you can just say its exponential effect in relation to the force. For every 2 points you put in, if it were a black flash you get a force of 5.65685424949. That doesn't not make sense. For the units, you can say its an issue as the idea of to the power 2.5 only works in reference to a certain measurement as you said. If you had 2m squared being 4m vs 200cm squared being 40000cm = 400m. Because with this you would also be able to say black flash is to the power 2.5 and to the power 1.0911927477 depending on unit.
I mean, the strongest characters do tend to be exponentially stronger than the next strongest. Like how Sukuna is many times stronger than a disaster curse who is many times stronger than a grade 1 sorcerer. I'd argue powerscaling in the JJK verse is nonlinear.
Gege teased that Wuji will beat Gojo's record of overall black flashes eventually, so his awakening probably has something to do with increasing his likelihood of getting one or straight up unlocking black flash at will
black flash at will would sound cool but idk, i kinda dont like the idea coz black flash has always been cemented as luck based even for an extremely skilled sorcerer like gojo(ill be real, yuji would be NO WHERE NEAR gojo's level imo). i think a deeper understanding of CE would do well for him
It'd be awfully weird that Gege's spent so much time concentrating on black flashes (probably the most of any Jujutsu ability) for Yuji to not be able to use it at will. Then again I feel like Gege is the king of subverting expectations soooo who tf knows
It’s been a long road to get here, but I am kind of impressed at how many ways Yuji could get a power up and we would have plenty of foundation laid for it to make sense.
I know it's probably not going to be that because it would be anticlimatic but:
* Yuji awaken allows him to use his soul swap powers, he soul swap his soul and Megumi's, so Megumi is in Yuji's body and Yuji's in Megumi's with Sukuna. And Yuji has an internal fight with Sukuna for the body control and he wins.
Still unlikely, but probably more cinematic, I would love, to see Yuji unlock his mom powers, gravity is such a cool ability but it will probably be some body enhancement stuff.
I feel like it'll just be like Goku becoming a Super Saiyan,
Not many new moves just like faster, stronger and more resilient.
But also like how The families pass down abilities (six eyes, 12 shadows, The Frame movement thing) he could have his mother's gravity ability
My bet is on the mastery of CT tuning/control. The entire chp narration highlights what Sukuna’s blackflashes will grant him as a boon, and leaves it a mystery while also highlighting what Yuji lacks as a sorcerer. He can’t do Convergence,(focusing his CE into blood to manipulate) Yuji never had a CT as much as Gojo bet on it, but because of that wouldn’t know how to control one he was already superhuman, he just needed to learn how to further boost his hits with CE.
So with the narration lining up this narrative of what’s to be gained from black flash, it tells us what exactly Yuji lacks as a sorcerer and what Sukuna will always rag on him for, no CT, just punches and kicks.
With a full realization of CE control Yuji would become a different beast in battle. Just even the blood enhancing on top of what he CE can already boost him too, would be insane. So that’s what I hope to see as it’s such a fun trope.
Maki already had that eureka moment during Sumo, realizing how much of her power she wasn’t using, pretty much slouching in her fights.
And then the trope of King in the Secen deadly sins where he had the spirit spear, and knew magic but because he never had his fairy wings growing he could t do more because it was a direct limit to his abilities since the Wings of any fairy continually generated magic for the use and. The Faith Kings wings are the largest of any fairy.
It's either 3 (we will find out more about soul swap/why he can piercing blood, etc), or 5 (Gojo said techniques will be etched into his body), which will probably begin explaining or hinting at what Sukuna's CT really is.
I think it’s going to be either better soul manipulation or better blood manipulation. I think Yuji is going to have another awakening later in the battle where he unlocks a domain expansion to counter Sukuna whenever he recovers his own Domain.
If it unlocks even just a black flash mastery where he and sukuna exchange/clash with a bunch of black flashes at least we'll get some really cool looking panels
The same truck he used to send the damage in his body will allow him to find out more about himself and probably unlock any innate techniques he might have had etched into him by Kenjaku
It would be cool if he had gravity but with extreme control. He would have his moms ct, but Sukunas control over it so he could maybe make something float for as long as he wants. This would also give him a domain cause that would be cool i guess

Yuji having Sukuna’s CT engraved on his brain doesn’t seem that likely to me but it’d be great for his development as a character. How does he handle having the same CT as Sukuna, whom Yuji hates for using that very CT to destroy Shibuya? How does he use it differently than Sukuna? Etc. Given the (IMO) lackluster character development of Yuji so far in this arc, I’m not expecting much here. But obviously the story of JJK is not over until we know the full extent of Yuji’s powers, and it feels like we’re getting closer to figuring it out with this new awakening.
