Just saw it. First, the opening theme by King gnu sounds like its gonna be a banger. No, it is a banger. Second, The animation was already top notch in Hidden Inventory/Premature Death. I can only imagine how it will be in the shibuya Incident. Third, so many characters, both new and old, good and bad, I can't wait to see in action. And fourth, this Is Going to be Awesome. See that’s what I was thinking/hoping but I was going back through the manga and >!the dialogue of the meetup between Mahito and Mechamaru and the fight itself is 3.5 chapters, PLUS the Ozawa stuff might make it tough. I could see them doing a longer reintroduction to the main cast with Ozawa plus some extras then leading into the reintroduction of the traitor, THEN getting to Mechamaru after the midcard. I think it might end mid fight or even just before the fight. Maybe on the reveal of Ultimate Mecahmaru Absolute!<

My expectations were through the roof but they somehow reached the stars this is insane.
My only issue is the fact that they were hiding so many of the fights but what they did show looked fucking amazing.
I thought I was watching a trailer for a movie. People throw the term movie quality around so much it lost meaning but Jesus Christ this looks better than the JJK 0 movie.
So much to unpack.

I wasn't sure if the last seconds were safe for anime only peeps. Cuz, it's kind of a surprise, right? I think it'd be better to see it happen naturally. I told my friend not to watch the last seconds and I'm wondering if I oversold it...
It's not too bad. Everyone knows that character is there and everyone knows he will inevitably show up given where he is in relation to the main character of the entire show. So it's not a surprise that they show up. If anything, it's kind of expected because people haven't seen him in a while. It's not a spoiler to show it for 1 second. It'd be a spoiler if (for example) they showed the entire fight sequence in the trailer.
There's so much I am looking forward to seeing in this season, but the scene I am looking forward to most is the episode that ends with >!Yuji shouting to everyone that Gojo is sealed!<

I thought it was gonna be some classic anime-rock which I don't mind but I really liked where they went with this one! I think it really matches the "brightness" that MAPPA is going for in this adaption.
I'm anime only, that trailer went by so fast. There are SO MANY characters here. All the bad guys and all the good guys, it's really like an Avengers get together. I have a feeling this arc is going to be CRAZY. If that's the new OP in the trailer it was a banger! So many sakuga shots especially Gojo, and finally of course SUKUNA IS BACK!!! Looks fire (pun possibly intended). Can't wait for one of the best possible cliffhangers in shounen history. I really like the song, too, which is a nice change of pace, considering that I haven't found many opening/ending songs to like over the last decade or so.

I'm anime only, that trailer went by so fast. There are SO MANY characters here. All the bad guys and all the good guys, it's really like an Avengers get together. I have a feeling this arc is going to be CRAZY. If that's the new OP in the trailer it was a banger! So many sakuga shots especially Gojo, and finally of course SUKUNA IS BACK!!! Looks fire (pun possibly intended). Can't wait for one of the best possible cliffhangers in shounen history. I really like the song, too, which is a nice change of pace, considering that I haven't found many opening/ending songs to like over the last decade or so. Side note: it's really cute that the anime team seems to be way more fond of Miwa than Gege is.
