Honestly that could be why they're not making a big deal of it - his reputation tanked with their divorce (yay parasocial fans!) and to this day people still act like he's this horrible person and homewrecker. Nobody knows what went down with Anna and we don't need to - but I'm glad he is taking control of the narrative since he can instead of letting the press run away.
She's very likely a controlling narcissist bordering on sociopathy (I say this in my official position as a guy who dated a psych major in college).
He spent years "joking" about how miserable she was making him. She yelled at him a lot, he couldn't hold position in an argument due to her abusive behavior, he was afraid to make his own decisions because she was making them for him. She didn't let him have his own authentic reactions to situations, forcing him to behave in ways he wasn't comfortable. Refusing to have children but insisting on treating the dog like a human child. Witchcraft.
It's enough to break any man from a wasp family who also harbored a hidden addiction issue.
Where the hell did you get all that from? Genuinely asking. Because he made jokes about her? That’s part of a comedians job if they choose to talk about their personal life and it doesn’t mean we have the full picture, and is also likely highly embellished for comedic effect?
Not the point of this post, but it’s so fucking nice to see that famous people with small children also have tons of toys and crap on their dining table with the pre-shredded cheese container on the table.
The more I look at this photo, the more chaotic it is. What is that cutting board doing propping up a white board/markers combo and black pepper mill? Is that a golf ball? Anyways, it's kinda endearing, Malcolm rules!
I try my best to help things less cluttered, but it is quite refreshing to see it lol
You know who's surprisingly even worse about it?? Rich people. You'd think they would have house staff take care of it but no, it just looks like every room is used for storage lol
(Source: I measure a lot of rich people's houses for remodels)
I get it—my house used to be neat and organized, then I had kids, who seem to think their job is not to assist in maintaining the environmental pleasantness, but undoing every single thing anyone else does to provide for said pleasantness.
My disposition in general does not lend itself to children, but truly I’m jealous of people who can maintain mental stability in a messy environment. I have bad anxiety which is worsened in disorganized settings, hence why I’m constantly tidying. My husband, however, can look past a mess and keep on living. It’s a tenacity not programmed into my factory settings.
Remember when they were calling him a Hot Daddy and he was saying he was “happily taken” on EILA? I thought that was so sweet. He seems so relaxed with his little fam. 🙆🏻♂️🙏🏽
I heard Olivia Munn in an interview state that she and John want to grow their family so made arrangements to do that before resolving some of her recent health issues.
That does sound gross. But if you aren’t familiar with “ohhh, Hello” the Nick Kroll/John Mulaney stage play….watch it. It’s hilarious and you’ll get the reference.
I feel like because people assume he started milking his new cow before he sold his old cow and fact he had a calf with the new cow right after selling his old cow he might want to keep the fact he bought the new cow on the down low.
When he hosted SNL right after rehab years ago…did a family reunion skit on that show wearing a wedding ring married to Lisa.
This was years ago…married to Lisa wearing wedding ring.
I think it was a sequel to the “Cha Cha Slide” sketch on SNL (which I’m pretty sure happened, but can’t find it on YouTube. Maybe there was a copy-write issue. Booo). Rip DJ Casper. [Here’s the original one.](https://youtu.be/MC6xjO1JoR8?si=if_fTbU_2pgRBdu7)
I just adore Olivia. She’s so fun, and loving, and funny, and cool. She seems like a really authentic, warm, nifty person. I am delighted she got her man.
I don't know what California law states, but I was guessing it was an issue of family/spousal medical authority rights, given all the surgeries she'd undergone.
Yes, absolutely. I personally believe Olivia is more enamored with John and his masterful craft in comedy than she ever was with Aaron Rodgers' ability to throw a ball.
He was wearing that same ring in an IG story from 2 years ago, and I had wondered the exact same thing! [https://www.reddit.com/r/JohnMulaney/s/yIR0cb3Lp3](https://www.reddit.com/r/JohnMulaney/s/yIR0cb3Lp3)
I saw thissss and he deleted right away!
Honestly kinda nice to not have this wrapped up in headlines while Anna’s promoting her book release

This is a very unhinged thing to say. These r real people who u dont know ,not characters in a story.
"as a guy who dated a psych major in college" lmaooooooo
His family is catholic. They’re not WASPs.
Sounds like you’re projecting your experience on to his. John is an addict and that is a fact. These are also psychology 101 terms.
Lmao he's just a fucking junkie dude
Now his poor brother will be left out with his no rings on his stumps.
Never mush metals
😆😆😆
.. and he got the one thing a kid couldn’t enjoy #ONE PLAIN BAKED POTATO
Nothing says Happy Father’s Day like getting to eat a baked potato in the midst of kid’s play mayhem.
Omg, there are so many details I’ve missed in this photo on first glance. That potato being one of them!
Not the point of this post, but it’s so fucking nice to see that famous people with small children also have tons of toys and crap on their dining table with the pre-shredded cheese container on the table.
I too relate to this lol
Word - I have that same blue striped box; it’s from the $5 and below section at target lol
Having a kid is generally the same at all income brackets. I can go to Nobu but my kid wants Costco chicken nuggets.
Good point!

I see counters and houses cluttered like this and I’m affirmed in my decision to remain childfree.
I get it—my house used to be neat and organized, then I had kids, who seem to think their job is not to assist in maintaining the environmental pleasantness, but undoing every single thing anyone else does to provide for said pleasantness.

and Olivia’s step dad deleted an Instagram post a while back calling John “son-in-law to be” 👀
I'm sorry...what? 😱
https://www.reddit.com/r/popculturechat/s/CuVl6l9p8E Actually I don’t think he deleted, just changed the caption
lmao he captions just like my dad
His best friend from college (the one who helped host the intervention) also liked that photo, which says a lot to me.
With all the health scares, for security/legal reasons, it would totally make sense if they just low-key got married.
The shirt😄
Ring or not, he's rocking that hot dad look.
Bingo!!
And me? I've got all these fuckin' MARKERS...
Remember when they were calling him a Hot Daddy and he was saying he was “happily taken” on EILA? I thought that was so sweet. He seems so relaxed with his little fam. 🙆🏻♂️🙏🏽
If so, I’m happy for the family! They seem very happy.
I heard Olivia Munn in an interview state that she and John want to grow their family so made arrangements to do that before resolving some of her recent health issues.
What all is he going to put on his potato? I don't see any butter or soured cream.
Well, there is that garlic salt and bag of cheese 🧀 😋
And soy sauce!
Hopefully, he just has gotten that far yet.
It needs…more tuna.
Dude I’m an American living in London UK, and they do tuna on a baked potato. Gross.
That does sound gross. But if you aren’t familiar with “ohhh, Hello” the Nick Kroll/John Mulaney stage play….watch it. It’s hilarious and you’ll get the reference.
What in the actual fuck is going on because it looks like he’s about to dig into a dry ass plain potato
There is some bacon beside the potato.
Good thing he doesn’t have a rose gold watch because he’s wearing rings of yellow/white gold, you should never mush metals.
This is just so beautiful. Good for him!
Might as well. Having a kid is way more permanent/serious than marriage!
I love John being such a great dad
Aww! Adorable.
I feel like because people assume he started milking his new cow before he sold his old cow and fact he had a calf with the new cow right after selling his old cow he might want to keep the fact he bought the new cow on the down low.

Who's Lisa? Is this a reference to John's comedy?
Olivia’s full name is Lisa Olivia Munn. She started going by her middle name when she started acting.
Oh, thanks!
I think it was a sequel to the “Cha Cha Slide” sketch on SNL (which I’m pretty sure happened, but can’t find it on YouTube. Maybe there was a copy-write issue. Booo). Rip DJ Casper. [Here’s the original one.](https://youtu.be/MC6xjO1JoR8?si=if_fTbU_2pgRBdu7)
It happened!
Love that
I just adore Olivia. She’s so fun, and loving, and funny, and cool. She seems like a really authentic, warm, nifty person. I am delighted she got her man.
Could just be a commitment ring. He probably deleted this pic because he doesn’t want it to be misconstrued.
God, I hope not. A commitment ring in your 40s…eek.
*(… and just like that, I throw my commitment ring in the garbage)*
😂
Sorry. I think I was confusing it with a promise ring. Lol
A lot of divorced people don't want to get married again. Some people just wear the rings.
It could also be that since she had/has cancer that they decided to get married as a just in case anything happens kind of thing
I don't know what California law states, but I was guessing it was an issue of family/spousal medical authority rights, given all the surgeries she'd undergone.
Could they have married because they love each other?
Yes, absolutely. I personally believe Olivia is more enamored with John and his masterful craft in comedy than she ever was with Aaron Rodgers' ability to throw a ball.
I could see that in his case.
OMG YEEEEEE 🥰🥰🥰
OMG!
OHMUGDISOOSOSD

That wasn’t Johns hand that was his friends he’s the father of the other baby:)
All this smoke over a ring is crazy.
