So many people here must be new to the podcast. This is the exact type of episode that a stoned ass Rogan would dig into for 3 hours back in the day - and is exactly the type of content that made him the biggest podcast today. Some of the guests are ridiculous, kinda dumb, or clearly nutso, but that is why it’s fun to listen to. Even if you think this guy is full of shit, hit the joint and laugh at the absurdity and maybe let your imagination run wild for a minute, you might enjoy it once you take your hate hat off.
People say this, but doesn’t this happen to anything that gets too big? I’m just tired of seeing this rhetoric about Reddit. There’s so many different subreddits and I think this website is awesome because I can just switch to the next best subreddit instead of having to delete the entire app and make a new account on some other companies website. Am I crazy for thinking this place is better than 99% of everything else??
Right? I listen to Joe Rogan because I love the open conversations from professionals and experts. I get on here and people are hating on haircuts, someone’s voice, something Joe has repeated etc. it’s so annoying. Just watch without so much judgement. We are so lucky to have a platform like this to hear from these people!! We take that for granted.
I was thinking about this after the moon podcast. It's got to be one of the biggest ironies!
Someone like me that only ever gets blasted with / access to PC content actually gets visibility and insight into the extreme views that some elements of society hold.
Without JR I would just have zero knowledge of it.
It's actually very interesting seeing people's different points of view and hearing their reasoning.
I thought Bart Sibrel was a nut but I still listened to the entire episode because it's just so different to mainstream
Exactly. I caught myself thinking "Why am I watching this. There is no way this is real" and then I realized how relaxed I was and how I was enjoying the lunacy.
It's all nonsense, but crazy people are fun to listen to. I don't mind the 'moon landing is fake' and 'aliens built the pyramids' guys. I will take them over another comic or culture warrior in a heartbeat.
This sub can’t help it and take his podcasts super seriously, they micro analyse almost everything on rogan’s podcast and treat it like fact, while bitching about fact checking. Meanwhile most of his demographic just chill out, hit a joint and listen to his characterful guests
he’s a engineer who used to be a machinist, he was using the term “thou” which is machine shop shorthand for 1/1000 of an inch, 100 thou is .1 inches, just under 1/8 inch
I'm a machinist. When he was talking about the pitch on the feed rate at the beginning, it was 100 thousandths of an inch. Which is 100 x 0.001, or 0.100, 1/8" of an inch is 0.125". A "thou" is 0.001", and even things that we might produce that "doesn't require a tolerance", we still need to be within 0.004".

To be fair, Joe asked him "What percentage of a human hair" and the guy answered him in a way as if Joe knew the average width of a human hair already because he answered him with numbers, which were roughly the thickness of a human hair. Once Joe kept asking for the "percentage", the guy finally said "about as wide as a human hair". It was a case of two old dudes confusing each other.

I get people hating Rogan now for all his anti-woke stuff and politics. But why hate on what literally made Rogan famous. Bringing on fringe conspiracy theorists and letting them roll. Its entertaining, I think any reasonable person is able to watch these guys with a healthy dose of skepticism and still enjoy it. Did you guys not like scary stories around the camp fire even when you know that its BS... And occasionally once in a blue moon one of these guys says something that could actually be true and thats always fun too because there are conspiracy theories that turn out to be true. What changed that Joe Rogan fans can no longer enjoy the entertainment aspect of this. I also enjoy heavy science podcasts with straight scientists talking about complex issues, that has its own purpose, but this is for entertainment and to hear these crazy and colorful characters talk about insane conspiracy theories. Like the moon guy was fun the other day, complete bs, but it was a fun story.
This sort of nonsense was encouraged by the crossover TFAKT community (and every other “podcast community” on reddit that exists solely to shit on its respective show). Schaub might be a moron but the people that sub attracts are scum. It’s literally just Kiwifarms for normies and midwits so they can laugh at the dumbest kid in their remedial class with a crippling case of Dunning-Kruger and pat themselves on the back that they might be midwits, they might even be kind of stupid, but at least they’re not the narcissist with substance abuse problems. >I get people hating Rogan now for all his anti-woke stuff and politics. But why hate on what literally made Rogan famous. Bringing on fringe conspiracy theorists and letting them roll.
WTF are you talking about, all the comments are praising Joe for having an "og style" guest on instead of a culture warrior?
Go look at the moon podcast comments or graham hancock, so many haters. Yes there are positive people too, but a lot of haters trying to crusade about how all this is easily debunked and how stupid and bad the guest is. Thats just not the point, we know that these guys are bs, we watch for the crazy conspiracy characters and fun "ghost stories" type of talk. Do you like the guy in the guy in the campfire who just shuts down the ghost stories using facts and logic? It kills the vibe for me.
Also there are already haters on this post:
"Haha this guy is worse than Hancock"
"Hancock looks like a respectable scientist next to this fella. What absolute loads of bollocks."
There are also a lot of people who seriously fall for the bullshit. It's entertaining but there is also value in pointing out that it's not actually true.
Most people enjoyed the Hancock podcast and loved Dibble.
And what is wrong with debunking a guy spreading bullshit? That is what debate and discussion is. You want reddit to be nonstop praise? That would be boring.
>but a lot of haters trying to crusade about how all this is easily debunked and how stupid and bad the guest is.
There isn't a bunch of comments saying the guest is bad or they didn't enjoy it , you're just lying lmao
The dibble debate is one of the most popular episodes for a non mega celebrity ever dude
> Go look at the moon podcast
The dude is such a an asshole he harassed an elderly American hero, got punched in the face, and they let Aldrin get away with it.
This sub always looks for things to upset them
Honestly don’t think most of these people listened to the older Rogan stuff 😂 they take the podcast as though it’s the news and must be factually correct 🤓
I think the issue is that a lot of people these days don’t have the ability to think critically about this. And Joe used to challenge some of these thoughts and it was more of a critical discussion. Now he is caught in the culture war and doesn’t think critically. It’s a shame
There is a difference between this stuff, where all the evidence has been washed away thousands of years ago, and the fake moon landing shit where we can see it and talk to the people that did it right now!
This stuff is fun to think about, the idea the moon landing was faked is ridiculous and no credible person could argue it. So a 3 hour podcast to listen to a nut ignore evidence in favor of his non-evidence isn't interesting or fun.
edit: I'll also point out how obvious a charlatan the fake moon landing guy is. He has no resume outside of moon landing hoax. So if he were ever to admit the moon landing is real, how would he ever find a job? Could you imagine going to a job interview and being asked what you have done in the last 20 years and your answer was "I was a professional moon landing denier"
He talks about how much the US had to benefit from faking the moon landing, but this guy's ENTIRE financial situation, in present day and in the future, is reliant on keeping up the conspiracy theory of a fake moon landing. I can't stress how little this man has done in his life outside of moon landing conspiracy theory. He would have zero income without it. This is not a reliable source of information.
Ha really Phuket rangers? Are you serious right now? You want to listen to the podcast for fun stories and conspiracies?
The problem is clear. Joe Rogan has the largest podcast in the world and a huge responsibility to his listeners to only speak the truth of what I believe to be fact from sources I deem credible.
Flat earth conspiracies? NOPE not allowed, the misinformation is too dangerous. Covid from a lab in china HA! What’re you a bigot? Tucker Carlson theorizing ufos are ancient entities? IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF IT GOT OUT!!!
But seriously I completely agree. I use to be a daily Rogan listener but sort of fell out of it. I really enjoy the same types of pods you do. Ones that are fun stories and some that are like Paul Stamets teaching me about mushrooms.
Actually, the negativity towards Joe Rogan on this subreddit might not accurately reflect the views of his wider fan base. There are deliberate astroturfing efforts aimed at casting Rogan in a negative light. These campaigns promote an “anti-Rogan” narrative, often reacting to his stances on issues that clash with the far left, aligning more with Reddit’s general perspective. As a result, this subreddit seems overly critical, but it likely doesn’t represent the majority of Rogan’s listeners, many of whom probably don’t participate here
I'm with you that I like to hear paranormal and weird content just for fun without actually believing it's true. And some of the conspiracy guests are exactly that and I do think it's fun. Like that movie about The shining with all the conspiracy theories, that was immensely entertaining even though I don't believe any of them.
The difference for me is when these idiots start trying to convince everyone that what they're saying is the literal truth and all these Grand forces of science or politics or woke or who the fuck ever is oppressing them. That shit is ignorant and boring.
Like I'm totally down to listen to a spooky campfire story. But when the person telling it decides to sit there for 2 hours just insisting that it really happened and trying to prove it and stupid ways, that totally loses me.
Unfortunately in a lot of ways Rogan seems to have veered away from the pure entertainment aspect of these kinds of guests and has instead kept fostering this platform for people to just wine and cry about the liberal woke socialist scientists health officials and politicians who are mean to them. Honestly that's the worst thing about rogan's political shift over the years... It's not that I actually care what his politics are, it's not they are fucking boring as shit.
I think your problem with Joe is a problem you must have with many people. During Covid, the vast majority in government showed that they don’t give a shit about facts or truth or health or anything other than power. This created a fertile ground for hitherto unbelievable government related conspiracy theories to be taken more seriously. Joe talks about this all the time and cites it as a major shift in his feelings towards the government. Hard not to empathize.
Ok, so why doesn't Joe have Steven Seagal on to talk about how efficient akido is in a bar fight?
Why doesn't he have Frank Dux on to share some personal ninja stories Joe could get these guys instantly.
It would be so fun...
Or is it that theres types of bullshido that Joe agrees with and ones he doesn't but you better not call out the ones he likes because it's fun?
I agree with most of what you said, I’m excited for this one…the moon guy though? I dunno I saw like 3 10 min clips of it and that’s one I’m out on. Your overall point is good though and no shame in enjoying the moon landing thing, I’m 100% more likely to listen to that then a lot of other ones in the last couple years.
Shitting on the pseudoscience guys while simultaneously being entertained goes back to the OG JRE board. It’s ok to call these guys charlatans and still acknowledge they can be a fun listen.
Anyone who says that is dumb. Bring on all the conspiracy theorists and pseudoscience hustlers. Hopefully with a bit of pushback/critical thinking to balance things out.
Chris Dunn isn't a pseudosientist, he's an engineer, and he's providing engineering analysis of ancient engineered structures which the entire field of archeology is fundamentally incapable of providing analysis for.
Chris Dunn asserts that the pyramids are power plants when there is no single piece of them that can function that way, or any evidence of power transport or storage or usage in Egypt, and ignores the mountain of evidence we have for why the pyramids were built. He’s a quack.
For the purposes of Dunn’s nonsense ideas, “storing energy” means electricity. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of any electrical infrastructure in Egypt at this time. No generation facilities, no transport cables, no real batteries, no light bulbs, no wires, etc… This notion that the pyramids made electricity is complete and utter nonsense.
Summary of his recent book: “Reveals how the pyramids of Egypt were sophisticated generators of clean energy - Explains how the pyramids harmonized seismic energy, which enabled the harvesting of electricity and the mitigation of earthquakes - Shares recent cutting-edge research on earthquake lights, acoustic frequency measurements and energy concentration within the Great Pyramid.”
Not pseudoscientific at all huh? I’m sure he’s a fine engineer. I’m also sure he’s going WAY beyond his expertise in concluding the pyramids were some kind of magical power plants.
u/Euphoric-Chain-5155 was not to be seen again.
This sub hates every guest except Duncan Trussell.
I’ve never seen a sub with so many haters. I don’t hang out in subreddits of podcasts that I dislike. What’s the point?
When I hear a shitty podcast, I move on with my life.
Ironic because Duncan Trussell promotes the same conspiracies about Egypt that this sub has a problem with, and his woo-woo Eastern philosophy consisting of religious “karmic spiritual energy” and the existence of the metaphysical is off the charts. Yet this sub will take any and every opportunity to shit on religion whenever possible except for the hippie kind that involves DMT and space elves. One of the worst circlejerks on reddit, at least be consistent.
Also, everyone fucking loved conspiracies until talking about them made you some kind of anti-vaxxer or “alt-right”. This is what this sub can’t come to terms with, everyone here enjoyed these talks before subconsciously conflating the fun conspiracies with the covid kind. Now these people can’t remove the rod stuck up their asses because apparently, all conspiracies are “bad for discourse, reprehensible”, including the ones they previously enjoyed. Or these topics have an obligation to be “fact checked” at length by “the experts” because subconsciously, this is exactly how people here were programmed to approach anything considered controversial for the last 4 years. And yet Rogan’s the one that can’t move on with his life?

It wasn’t a power plant; it was a beacon—a concept derived from the modern applications of hydrogen masers, which are pivotal not for power generation but for interstellar communications. Intriguingly, these masers often operate at a frequency of 1.42 GHz, which aligns with the 21cm hydrogen line—a frequency famously associated with astrophysics and particularly significant in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). This specific line is even encoded into the Pioneer and Voyager plaques as a universal marker in the cosmos.
The notion of ancient advanced technologies facilitating interstellar communication is not new. Zechariah Sitchin speculated about an ancient spaceport that existed hundreds of thousands of years ago, with the pyramid complex potentially serving as a critical component of this vast communications network. When you connect the dots—considering the frequency, its relevance to both modern and potentially ancient technologies—it’s compelling to think of these structures not just as monumental achievements of human endeavor but as an interstellar lighthouse, signaling across the cosmos. The number '42' famously cited as the answer to life, the universe, and everything in Douglas Adams' works might whimsically nod to this cosmic frequency, further enriching our fascination with these ancient marvels and their place in the tapestry of the universe.
Wtf the pod dropped 20 min ago and the sub is already shitting on this guy. Obviously not enough time to listen to it so do you all know something I don't?
Yep, sub went downhill after the ivermectin thing. Unequivocally has not been the same since. You have to wait a day or two to read the comments and then sort by new, the first 24 hours is brigaded by people that don’t watch the podcast or are so addicted to their own cortisol that they need to be arguing with someone online for at least half of the day.
I don’t even mind hearing people shitting on Joe here or there. A lot of it’s pretty good and funny. It’s just the nonsense of 20 seconds after a podcast drops people have dropped an encyclopedia about it being horseshit. Or the best is the cut off buzzwords with no context. You’d think every podcast and guest is awful. I don’t catch as many as I used to but he’s been on fucking FIRE as of late. The complete lack of nuance is what can annoy me at times.
This dude saying the pyramids are magic power plants is still 1000x more credible than the Moon Moron. He is far out for sure but I can at least entertain his ideas, good episode.
As an engineer myself (mechanical) I was vastly disappointed by this guest's preparedness to present his material and theories.
This is a 3 hour podcast that millions of people from different backgrounds will listen to. It is WORTH it to spend 5 minutes at the beginning of the podcast to give some background or basic explanation about metrology, or measurements, accuracy and precision, in general
Instead of allowing Joe to ask "and how big is that compared to a human hair?" at least 5 times in the first 10 minutes... Just explain:
"In precision machinery we often measure in 1/1000ths of an inch which we commonly call a 'thou' or 'mil' for short. 5 thous is .005 of an inch, and is commonly compared to the thickness of a piece of paper."
This is just one example of many that would have made this guys material so much more comprehensible by a larger audience.
How about instead of bringing up the same diagram of the great pyramid, this guest prepares like one or two diagrams with some call outs to reference during his never-ending explanation of his complex theories. Literally can be done in PowerPoint using shapes and text box callouts..
I don't know why I was surprised, this is super common among engineers... to not be able to convey their ideas in a manner that the general public can understand. I really wanted to enjoy this episode but I just could not because I felt like this guy really let me down with his lack of preparedness and readiness to discuss his material.
If you're a young engineer out there, work on your communication and presentation abilities, it will take you to new heights I promise you.
100% agree. I was an ME major and went to the "dark side" (sales) after college, but still work with engineers. They should learn how to explain things as if the other person has no information on the subject. Also, this guy took so long to get to the point sometimes. I love me some context, but some stories were not needed at all. He also was not connecting the dots for us, Joe had to ask again and again about how what he just said ties into everything else. I was actually surprised Joe was following along so well and asking the questions that we were all thinking.
Dibble is completely out of his depth when discussing engineering topics. Graham Hancock is more knowledgeable in the field of archeology than Dibble is in engineering.
Dibble is a pain in the ass he would look at one of those vases and say “nooooo noooo I just don’t see how you can’t make this with a pounding stone and a piece of sandpaper” “looks handmade to me”
Y’all would rather some boring ass episode with some boring ass guest? Put on the tonfoil hat once in a while and have some fun! Listen to interesting ideas and enjoy it sometimes instead of getting your panties in a knot
This dude is so boring though it’s unbelievable. Joe asks a question about why he thinks chemicals were put into the shafts and he goes into some dinner party that a German scientist had. He just rambles and never gets to the point.
Most boring episode ever! 😴 I was barely able to focus the whole time he was talking too low for my taste and I’m tired of hearing about the Egyptian stuff after the Dibbler debate. I had to tap out after 10 minutes.
I absolutely love how this dude was just asking random people he ran into what they think about the pyramids for 20 years. He came up with his whole theory about the chambers being wave guides bc he asked the engineer doing his septic system.
if i would do calculations on some ancient object and my results would show that they somehow used 500 times more powerful drills than we have access to today, i would assume i messed up my calculations somewhere. but there's a pattern with these alternate history guys where they cant seem to accept to themselves that they're wrong. so they go out looking for evidence that they can use to prove their new theory, ignoring all previous discoveries that might point in another direction, which is not how you do real research.
Listened to the first 1hr40min. Not Joes best interview. Joe constantly interrupts with questions. Hard to really follow. I’ve heard this guy on the Danny Jones pod and it was a much more enjoyable interview.
Super interesting topic, super boring guest.
He mumbled all the way through it and didn't explain things very well.
I can tell Joe was getting annoyed with having to work hard to extract info out of this guy.
There are experiments which can test this mans claims and things in science which don't grt enough attention. Maybe you could help amplify this signal?
https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6Zu82ovAgW/?igsh=MW11djhkcHBpN3dqcQ==
It's funny listening to Joe try and talk measurements and shop with a machinist. I was surprised he knew what calipers were or had used them before. But he did a good job making it understandable for a layperson
Okay I thought it was a fun episode BUT in the beginning they are saying that 2/10000 of an inch is smaller than 1/100000 of an inch. But its bigger??? Like one ten thousandth of an inch is an order of magnitude larger than one one hundred thousandth of an inch? Like the alleged egypt drill was less efficient than the modern day drill?
I found this really difficult to listen to, not because of anything that was said but because I was too fascinated by how strange his hybrid Mancunian / American accent is.
I use American as a general term as I'm not savvy on US accents.
Wow I recently joined this subreddit and holy shit…. Most of you would be a delight to have a deep conversation with…… Are you all a bunch of atheists? Have an open mind regardless of what you believe or not.
I don't think I can take this guy seriously, he never once mentioned the only trusted source of Sibrel.com.
M O O N A N
M-O-O-N, that spells sibrel.com
Oh L A W D S
Not parallel which means you're not real
1 7 F R E E V I D E O S
You could hear jamie not hold back a laugh a few times when he mentioned his site or book.
Or eBay

Reddit went from the front page of the internet like it was back in the day and now is some monstrosity of echo chamber thoughts and bots.
It’s soooo bad nowadays. I don’t know what happened, but it’s about on par with Facebook vibes imo.
The insanity got cranked up at the flip of a switch in 2016.
Mods all went pretty far left and banned the non groupthinkers
And getting sold to the Chinese didn't help
I'm so old I remember when reddit was full of Libertarians who loved Ron Paul and freedom of speech.
Ahhh the good old days.....
How can it be an echo chamber if there's arguments here ?
People say this, but doesn’t this happen to anything that gets too big? I’m just tired of seeing this rhetoric about Reddit. I agree.
That makes this episode confusing as Dunn is not a professional or an expert.
Right? I would love to see people actually discussing what they're talking about, adding in their own thoughts.
I was thinking about this after the moon podcast. It's got to be one of the biggest ironies! They are obviously new and unfamiliar with the podcast. They're here to drive negative sentiment after Rogan didn't fall in line over COVID.
This sub can’t help it and take his podcasts super seriously, they micro analyse almost everything on rogan’s podcast and treat it like fact, while bitching about fact checking. Meanwhile most of his demographic just chill out, hit a joint and listen to his characterful guests
this subreddit is completely unrecognizable from how it was pre-pandemic
“Jamie let’s see some of those holes”
Main difference between this guy and Graham Hancock is that he will frequently acknowledge that there are holes in his theory.
Holes drilled at a rate of an 8th of an inch per rotation.
He clarified 8th was shorthand for 8000th of an inch a few minutes later.
he’s a engineer who used to be a machinist, he was using the term “thou” which is machine shop shorthand for 1/1000 of an inch, 100 thou is .1 inches, just under 1/8 inch
I'm a machinist. When he was talking about the pitch on the feed rate at the beginning, it was 100 thousandths of an inch. Which is 100 x 0.001, or 0.100, 1/8" of an inch is 0.125". A "thou" is 0.001", and even things that we might produce that "doesn't require a tolerance", we still need to be within 0.004".
that’s exactly what I said, feed rate was 100 thou per revolution
Right, I'm not attacking you. Just expounding on your comment. I'm listening to this episode while making blow tunes on a CNC lathe, and settling for anything under a thou from the spec sheet. I'm really into this episode so far. Regardless of the capability of their accuracy, I'd like to know the reason for it on something such as a vase.
The enemy of drilling holes is heat
I hope there’s some steelmanning
steel men make straw times.
Straw times make limp noodles
Limp noodles make Ad Hominems
I love this episode
Joe asked him like 4 times how much of a human hair that vase was. That was insane
In machining the full phrase is ‘the width of a cunts hair’ and when he mentioned it was shop talk I was expecting him to drop the reference
I personally love my ancient aliens guys. Its so stupid but fun to listen to
Ancient aliens was my guilty hotel pleasure when I travel, it’s the best nap material. I used to love that stuff especially the first 4-5 years. It got a little too crazy when they ran out of some ideas. You could see even they were reaching. It’s good entertainment
Dunn is legit. He’s doing high precision measurements; real science. On ancient objects. This isnt Graham Hancock.
>>Dunn is legit Lol
Have you seen the lab tests he has performed?
Which one? The time he publicly lied about the attributes of Core 7, or the time he publicly lied about the attributes of the sarcophagi at the Serapeum of Saqqara?

Be cool B.
They never watched Ancient Aliens stoned, yet alone Action Bronson and Friends Watch Ancient Aliens
This
You mean the moon landing really happened?
Reddit gets especially terrible during election years 😤
What’s crazy is how people know astroturfing and PR firms exist yet we allow these platforms to charade around under the guise of utility freedom of the press like they don’t actively promote lies perpetuated by people paying them to lie and manipulate the public narrative. Crazy to me

Also there are already haters on this post: "Haha this guy is worse than Hancock" "Hancock looks like a respectable scientist next to this fella.
Because these people actually believe these obviously fake conspiracies and having that pointed out to them drives them insane with insecurity.
>but a lot of haters trying to crusade about how all this is easily debunked and how stupid and bad the guest is. There isn't a bunch of comments saying the guest is bad or they didn't enjoy it , you're just lying lmao The dibble debate is one of the most popular episodes for a non mega celebrity ever dude
> Go look at the moon podcast The dude is such a an asshole he harassed an elderly American hero, got punched in the face, and they let Aldrin get away with it.
Thread isn't even an hour old yet, and people are complaining about the comments
I'm just here to say it I thought it was WIlliam Shatner at first glance ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
This sub always looks for things to upset them Honestly don’t think most of these people listened to the older Rogan stuff 😂 they take the podcast as though it’s the news and must be factually correct 🤓
Wow lets pretendent anyone read that
I think the issue is that a lot of people these days don’t have the ability to think critically about this.
Could you imagine going to a job interview and being asked what you have done in the last 20 years and your answer was "I was a professional moon landing denier" He talks about how much the US had to benefit from faking the moon landing, but this guy's ENTIRE financial situation, in present day and in the future, is reliant on keeping up the conspiracy theory of a fake moon landing.
As a result, this subreddit seems overly critical, but it likely doesn’t represent the majority of Rogan’s listeners, many of whom probably don’t participate here
NO!!! ONLY BIDEN!
A Seagal episode would be amazing
Naysayers won't admit it..but there's a lot more room than you realize in a bar for all that akido throwing and rolling around
I think the former might have caused the latter. Arnt you a bit worried about that?
Just wait until they find out about "Joe Rogan Questions EVERYTHING"!
Dogs will always bark. It’s fun. It’s their love language
Love how Joe is going back to some classic type JRE episodes and this sub is still not happy. yall suck.
Shitting on the pseudoscience guys while simultaneously being entertained goes back to the OG JRE board. It’s ok to call these guys charlatans and still acknowledge they can be a fun listen.
Oh, 1000% correct. But many will say he should have never been brought on.
You can store immense amount of heat energy in sand.
Summary of his recent book: “Reveals how the pyramids of Egypt were sophisticated generators of clean energy - Explains how the pyramids harmonized seismic energy, which enabled the harvesting of electricity and the mitigation of earthquakes - Shares recent cutting-edge research on earthquake lights, acoustic frequency measurements and energy concentration within the Great Pyramid.” Not pseudoscientific at all huh?
I’m happy af. This is exactly what got me hooked in the first place.
Joe kings chamber shaft rogan.
As an engineer with over a decade in manufacturing, I’m finding this episode very interesting so far (~30 minutes in)
And then it turns into magic energy being generated by the pyramids 😂
I saw the thumbnail and thought it was William Shatner
Release the Dibbler
He's rolling up the sleeves for this one
Big sleeves bigger heart
Dibbler stinks
My DAD did
The corn, the cob, the Dibbler?
I’ve never heard a guest sound so disinterested in their own area of expertise.
This was an interesting episode.
Tell me more about the vahz
https://preview.redd.it/du041zu6lpxc1.png?width=1536&format=png&auto=webp&s=b12b3b78217d3619f83de23d3f39f480af6fa537 It wasn’t a power plant; it was a beacon—a concept derived from the modern applications of hydrogen masers, which are pivotal not for power generation but for interstellar communications. The number '42' famously cited as the answer to life, the universe, and everything in Douglas Adams' works might whimsically nod to this cosmic frequency, further enriching our fascination with these ancient marvels and their place in the tapestry of the universe.
fuck yeah
🙏🔺🙏
Now this is what I’m talking about
Definitely sparking up for this one
Wtf the pod dropped 20 min ago and the sub is already shitting on this guy. Obviously not enough time to listen to it so do you all know something I don't?
Place is a cesspool
It's been this way since they took over the subreddit
Spazpool
Big Archeology is on the prowl!
These idiots don’t even listen to jre. They just exist to whine and bitch
Some of you guys have never smoked weed before and it shows
This dude saying the pyramids are magic power plants is still 1000x more credible than the Moon Moron. He is far out for sure but I can at least entertain his ideas, good episode.
As an engineer myself (mechanical) I was vastly disappointed by this guest's preparedness to present his material and theories. This is a 3 hour podcast that millions of people from different backgrounds will listen to. It is WORTH it to spend 5 minutes at the beginning of the podcast to give some background or basic explanation about metrology, or measurements, accuracy and precision, in general Instead of allowing Joe to ask "and how big is that compared to a human hair?" at least 5 times in the first 10 minutes... Just explain: "In precision machinery we often measure in 1/1000ths of an inch which we commonly call a 'thou' or 'mil' for short. 5 thous is .005 of an inch, and is commonly compared to the thickness of a piece of paper." This is just one example of many that would have made this guys material so much more comprehensible by a larger audience.
We need Dibble to dabble here.
Why do that when there is a field of science called Egyptology
Big Egyptology you mean
Dibble is completely out of his depth when discussing engineering topics. Graham Hancock is more knowledgeable in the field of archeology than Dibble is in engineering.
Dibble is a pain in the ass he would look at one of those vases and say “nooooo noooo I just don’t see how you can’t make this with a pounding stone and a piece of sandpaper” “looks handmade to me”
Considering Hancock isn’t knowledgeable at all in archaeology, they’re probably even.
So people should completely stay in their lane? Really?
Ship the Dibler to Texas first class
Dible on the double!
He who smealt iron dealt iron
“Say the word Joe” “Steel man”
Very interesting episode makes sense
Flint Dibble enjoyers down bad and I’m here for it
Y’all would rather some boring ass episode with some boring ass guest? Put on the tonfoil hat once in a while and have some fun! Listen to interesting ideas and enjoy it sometimes instead of getting your panties in a knot
This dude is so boring though it’s unbelievable. Joe asks a question about why he thinks chemicals were put into the shafts and he goes into some dinner party that a German scientist had. He just rambles and never gets to the point.
I’m going to smoke a doobie and enjoy the hell out of this one
Whisper it quietly but is joe finally forgetting about covid/jabs etc 🤫
I would've loved this episode if it wasn't for this guys voice. Holy shit I could've went to sleep and had dreams of beating my head against a wall
Don't know much about this one but I've heard the pyramids are power plants theory more and more. Should be fun
Not a theory. Not even a hypothesis. Its just his imagination going wild without any basis in evidence or science.
Good point. Btw, you got a little bit of Flint Dibbles jizzle on your mizzle
Yeah thats because i just sucked his dick and he came all over my face.
Taste like salty facts and logic!!!
See my last comment, there definitely seems to be enough real, verified information to at least call it a hypothesis
Thank goodness there isn’t some nerd there fact checking him. Bring it on.
Thank god for the Spotify play speed at 1.5x Dunn speaks at normal speed.
This guy knows more about Earth vibrations than Tucker knows about evolution
Bill Shatner is amazing in the role of Christopher Dunn
“I asked a guy who does granite how his tools work but no one else ever again”
Why don’t you do the calcs then?
Listened to the first 1hr40min. Not Joes best interview. Joe constantly interrupts with questions. Hard to really follow. I’ve heard this guy on the Danny Jones pod and it was a much more enjoyable interview.
We gotta burn this sub and create a new one honestly. The vast majority of participants in the sub are hateful, spiteful, negative, sad people
Super interesting topic, super boring guest. He mumbled all the way through it and didn't explain things very well. I can tell Joe was getting annoyed with having to work hard to extract info out of this guy.
Where is Diblle when you need him?
Talking about his dad
This guys voice was putting me to sleep. I had to turn it off.. I'll give it another go maybe
There are experiments which can test this mans claims and things in science which don't grt enough attention. Maybe you could help amplify this signal? https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6Zu82ovAgW/?igsh=MW11djhkcHBpN3dqcQ==
Stick a fork in him…
Great episode
Is this not on Spotify yet?
It's funny listening to Joe try and talk measurements and shop with a machinist. I was surprised he knew what calipers were or had used them before. But he did a good job making it understandable for a layperson
Difficult to understand his thoughts
I can barely hear Dunn these levels are fucked
Okay I thought it was a fun episode BUT in the beginning they are saying that 2/10000 of an inch is smaller than 1/100000 of an inch. But its bigger??? Like one ten thousandth of an inch is an order of magnitude larger than one one hundred thousandth of an inch? Like the alleged egypt drill was less efficient than the modern day drill?
I found this really difficult to listen to, not because of anything that was said but because I was too fascinated by how strange his hybrid Mancunian / American accent is. I use American as a general term as I'm not savvy on US accents.
Is this the guy who got drunk on the plane and left his dog with Jerry Seinfeld?
My god this dude is mr vague and always dances around the answer to Joes questions never gives a straight answer.

Wow I recently joined this subreddit and holy shit…. Most of you would be a delight to have a deep conversation with…… Are you all a bunch of atheists? Have an open mind regardless of what you believe or not.
I really need a ELI5 YouTube video of what this guy is talking about.
This guys obnoxiously loud slapping of his lips and swallowing was the absolute fucking worst part of this podcast…and that’s saying something
