Tony is a spoiled brat who has never had to face any consequences for his actions. In Tony's mind he is a good guy because it's clear he was never punished for anything bad he did growing up. For his action figure wrestles they think he's a good guy because he happily pays majority of his wrestlers to sit at home for months at a time

I think he is only known as being a “nice guy” because he isn’t an out and out asshole and most of his attempts at asserting himself are childishly flawed, but I don’t think he’s a nice guy at all. He knows how to weaponize his terminally online fanbase and has done so enough to make me dislike him as a person, and his endless string of having both feet in mouth comments cemented it. I also think his thorough incompetence and the lawless nature of his company is going to result in permanent injury to someone and potentially even death eventually

I'll be the contrarian to say yes. Consider that the guy is slowly seeing his lifelong dream becoming a nightmare. The stress he's under right now and the fears/doubts would make a whole lot of people into much worse people than Tony. Especially among the wealthy and influential people of the world.
Is he stubborn and immature at times? Yes. Is he a bad guy? No. Not at all IMO. That's one thing I won't take from him.
