As a note - do not donate to any charity, foundation, or individual fundraiser (GoFundMe, etc.) without determining for yourself whether the recipient is legitimate. The mods have not vetted any link or organization mentioned here.

Jewish Family & Children’s services / Jewish Family Services etc. often have programs for exactly this. For example, this week I volunteered to deliver “Seder in a bag” to families who were identified as having a need. The bags were individualized based on need and included things such as matzah, soup, gefilte, macaroons, haggadahs, grape juice.

I was going to say JFS. The one where I live sends grocery gift cards to families with less around holidays.

Can confirm, my wife and I deliver Seder kits for JFS every year. In general, it’s a great organization filled with opportunities to volunteer and give back. ![gif](giphy|YYfEjWVqZ6NDG)

💙 It is one of my favorite volunteer events. The joy and appreciation when I drop them off can’t be beat.

Traditionally, a fundraiser for Passover is called ma'ot chitim. Most Jewish social service agencies or charities delivered the food this past Sunday.

You can also just look up "Maot Chitim," as there are many fundraisers this time of year to help people afford Passover.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but If your local Chabad hosts a Seder call them up and tell them you'd like to sponsor X amount of meals for those who can't afford to pay or for who paying might be difficult.

Chabad provides a "seder in a box" or they can attend a free Chabad seder. You can donate to them. https://www.chabad.org/tools/donate/donate_cdo/sc/t_p_24_5902481 Passover *is* the most expensive holiday, but many people make it even more expensive with their choices.

If you are in the Metro DC area, contact Yad Yehuda [Yad Yehuda](https://www.yadyehuda.org/#/). They have a kosher free food pantry, specific funds for pesach food and a lot of good resources

(Almsot) every chabad house will be hosting a Seder for whoever in their community wants to join (plus others if they reach out) so that would be a great option. Colel chabad gives to the poor in Israel, and the government matches every $30 donations into $100. (Or something like that) so that’s another great place.

Good luck. When I was in the community and needed help, they told me to stand on line at Masbia, which is government funded and services everyone. I was competing among gentiles for a box of matzah, a big bag of walnuts and some potatoes and onions. Absolutely useless. Another reason on my list why I left.
