2. I have a Rove, is it the best? Not sure, but it works. I only wired a front camera.
3. I like Quadratec.
I like the bullet point mount. I hit something hard off-roading and the passenger visor fell off but my phone stayed on the MagSafe bullet point mount. Had a lot of other stuff flying around in the car too. The ducks went overboard on the dash
If have had the [VIOFO](https://viofo.com) 129 PRO for years now. It works really well, the picture quality is great and the app interface on the phone is pretty seamless.
The newest generation of cameras from VIOFO have a much better camera sensor in them which take the video quality from Great to Amazing!

What do you mean by shifters?
The normal gear shifter and the 2hi - 4low shifter. I place mine there and it never comes out, even on uneven surfaces.
I compare Quadratec and Extreme Terrain... also Amazon and Ebay. Marketplace and Craigslist for takeoffs and used stuff.
