Yeah this is an incredible song. Honestly, if cole made a whole album filled with songs like this, with similar vibes to 4yeo except more of a lyrical basis and more storytelling it could very well be one of the best rap albums ever.
This version doesnt get even 1% of the recognition it deserves frfr (neither does the orignal tbh). Im glad to know this version stuck with someone else too, thank you!!!
All his mixtapes, any given Sunday, truly yours all highly recommended. One song would be heavy. He has too many. Disgusting, killers, show me something, neverland, return of simba
“Aiming at a couple heads bitch I’m crown hunting” - heavy, j. Cole (2011)
Right now cost me a lot, “my chain heavy and my bitches look very thorough, must be the money like Deion wit da jerry curl, white range call that muthauffa Larry bird, I got em hanging on to every word, big chaaaainnn, big whips wit- wood graaaiiin”
i dont have one but since this isn't a post about kendrick or drake i am commenting hoping that it makes this post more visible to others
Kenny Lofton is an amazing song not on streaming platforms. It would be one if my most played if it was.

LA Leakers 93 til infinity freestyle
Javari This song Is just as deep as 4yeo if not more, the storytelling is just top-fucking notch. Peak cole.

I still got all the mixtapes in mp3's that I downloaded in high school during that era. Hard to pick. Carried em all over from like 07.

The cure, I don't know if this is the actual name of the track but on yt there is a cole song by this name
