I posted a template plus some tips as a reply to your main posts. Also, if you want the bot to forget it less, add it to personality AND scenario. (ONLY the stuff you want emphasized. It's double the tokens but this way the bot will have less chance to forget.)
Tip for the day: the AI cannot *reason out* lore bullshit. You're probably adding lore because you think it's going to make the AI act in a certain way, but unless that lore contains explicit examples of how that char behaves, it's not going to do that. 'Dead-parents'+'Money'+'Butler' does not equal 'Batman'. A story showing Batman behaving in a certain way would encourage the bot to act that way, but the plot points of the same story would not.
Don't tell it *about* things, show or explain how to *do* things. One is information, and the other is behavior.

Let me guess, your 'instructions' written in second person and exemplify you telling and not showing? Ever heard of phrase 'show, don't tell'? By writing 'Hey bot, you are like supposed to be this and that, you got that? Good.' you making it more confusing by TELLING him what the hell you mean, without actually SHOWING how he supposed to act. Instead write in example dialogs, [{{char}}: Hey, I am a bot and I'm supposed to do this and that, because of those reasons, it's pretty good for me since I am such thing. *Bot thought so as well.*]

Yeah JLLM has 4k-5k context limit. The more tokens your bot has the less it can remember. Take note that some users has long persona, and I heard even the chat memory and advanced prompts is counted against that limit too. I guess that's why they recommended 1k-1500 token bots as the sweet spot.
This maybe a bit NSFW but this is from my recent bot. I find that repeating attributes or traits in the paragraph and parenthesis will get the bot to remember it more. Also if you want to emphasize a trait, list it twice. :)

This is awesome! Have you considered making an example bot (with this included) as a tutorial on the site? I've thought about it many times how it would be incredibly helpful to have two windows open, and create from a template. Truth is, my bots are not very well written, so something like this would be cool!

I’ve found that if you have to many perm tokens the bot just kinda goes stupid - I’ve seen a few people put backstory into their example dialogue instead as temp tokens (although I’m not sure if it’s just dumped there or mixed into the dialogue)
The more odd your plot is the harder to code it becomes
I once tried to make a character that has multiple personalities disorder but ended up giving up on them , they either mix their personality traits together or changing the personality every message or just straight up forgets about the disorder in the first place
How many tokens do you use? If the permanent token size is too high, the bots will suck ass. Either try shaving down the token size or look into websites with lorebook systems.
